I received “Peppa Pig: Bubbles” for review. No other incentive was provided and opinions are my own.
If you have a preschooler and access to networks Nick Jr., Treehouse, Channel 5, or Discovery Kids, then you may have been forced into a weird world where kids rule and “Peppa Pig” reins supreme. It is entirely possible that specific ‘”Peppa Pig” Quiet Time’ may have been carved out in your home, and that this is when your child is their most serious.
“Peppa Pig” enthusiasts everywhere will get to watch to their heart’s content this holiday season. 14 fun-packed “peppasodes” as seen on Nick Jr. come together to make up the “Bubbles” DVD that teaches kids about making the best of situations and setbacks, recycling, taking responsibility, and much more.
The lovable, cheeky little piggy who originates from the UK and sports an English accent, is up to all sorts of adventures in this compilation of episodes. She visits new and exciting places, dresses up, plays games, makes new friends, and does it all with her family — Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, and younger brother, George — and an ensemble of friends who each depict a different animal character. Of course, while navigating her way through everyday activities, she always stops just long enough to do her absolute favorite thing — jumping up and down in muddy puddles.
Each episode of “Peppa Pig” is 5 minutes long. Every single parent in existence knows this is the perfect length for programming created for busy toddlers who are on the move and onto the next thing from one moment to the next. Parents will get their money’s worth with “Bubbles,” popping it in again and again until their child has made it through all 70 minutes of nonstop fun in 14 “peppasodes.”

When my boy was 2 and 3, we used to watch Peppa before we took a nap. I miss Peppa now that he is 6…or maybe I miss the naps!
I know just the toddlers that would enjoy this DVD. I think the parents will too. Great gift idea. I’ll look for it once it’s released!
