In my “research,” I found that while the bullet-style vibrator was fun at first, once things really got going, I couldn’t feel its intensity in me as much as I did when I first started playing with it, but that could definitely vary from woman to woman and I’m more of the oral persuasion when it comes to the most intense pleasure–and on that note, the Pocket Rocket is my new best friend. I can explain those weird looks on your faces away because I did receive a note saying that the fun dough does have a tendency to be a little sticky at first; Miss Brittany recommends refrigerating the dough before use for a firm consistency, which is what I did so it wouldn’t be too sticky to mold with.
The kids had a great time playing with Miss Brittany’s Organic Fun Dough, it held their attention for far longer than most of the other toys we have for them here and while it was a little sticky when they were playing with it, they had a ball with it and also with commenting on its stickiness because sometimes, kids just like to get their hands a little messy and there’s nothing wrong with that!
Tristan Taormino is the first adult film director and producer that I had an immense curiosity about. She is a woman in a typically male-dominated industry; I also dare say that the adult film industry as a whole is believed to be a boy’s club, so for a woman to make her mark on the industry is phenomenal and to do it well gives the self-professed feminist in me quite a thrill. I like seeing women making waves in an industry that is believed to be by men, for men, especially considering that one in three women watch and enjoy adult films.
I recently had the opportunity to be introduced to Tristan Taormino and her film, Rough Sex, which greatly sums up the content of the film.
What is different and also refreshing about Rough Sex is that at the beginning of every scene, you get to see interviews with the performers from the upcoming scene and hear about their own sexual fantasies, that they then get to act out completely consensually and safely in the scene. Women’s fantasies vary greatly and we often do fantasize about rough sex and the spontaneity of doing something a little dirty and a little wrong. I greatly respect Taormino for “going there” and for not being afraid to capture the same fantasies that can put some people off or even make people feel uncomfortable watching, but be incredibly hot at the same time.
Granted, this film is not for everyone, especially since it does depict (consensual) rape fantasy, home invasion fantasies and also has a scene that switches the typical dominant male/submissive woman scenario and has a woman’s fantasy of being dominant in the bedroom and her corporate business, obviously powerful husband be in the submissive role, which I liked seeing quite a bit. In my opinion, this film can be really hot for women who do fantasize about rough sex and can also be very eye-opening in the respect that you have the opportunity to open yourself up to new ideas and may discover that you do like fantasizing about something that you didn’t think would excite you.
PETA has a very long history of promoting their vegetarian and vegan lifestyle by using very bold approaches that are often outright offensive, sexist, misogynist and above all, untrue. Yet another notch in the ‘PETA lies’ bedpost is their newest Santa Clause ad which claims that cow’s milk causes impotence.
In my (most humble) opinion, PETA is merely using scare tactics (or “kicking a guy when he’s down,” in a matter of speaking) in order to get people to pay attention. Sadly, their ‘punch in the gut’ tactics have worked, which is why we’re still seeing ads from them popping up again and again, all of them skirting right on by questionable and pushing up against insulting and this ad in particular, if you took PETA’s logo off of it, it could have been an ad for how to buy Viagra online.
There is absolutely no proof to be seen that supports their accusation that cow’s milk causes impotence and because so many of their ads and promotional techniques have been brought to question by several different reputable resources over the years, there are a great number of people who see them for who they truly are. People who are vegetarian and vegan and who would support PETA, had it not been for their “shock jock” nature, have seen through them for years and by using these types of marketing techniques and creating health risks that have no factual data supporting it to put on billboards, flyers and other marketing materials, they are alienating the same people who would otherwise support them and their cause.
