ATTENTION: We are in No Way Associated with WomanTribune.net

About a month back I realized that not only had someone bought WomanTribune.net, they had also mirrored this site completely stealing it’s layout, images, and yes, all 200+ articles. I immediately contacted them as well as their host to alert them that their customer was committing major copyright fraud and the website was removed within a mere two days. I was hoping that since they had been caught that they would just terminate using the domain, but of course I was wrong. Within the past two years Woman Tribune has been up and running (with one major hiatus and server mess up on my part that made us lose a great deal of content and have to start over) we have been truckin’ along, riding the internet waves and as of late, we’ve been doing the best we’ve ever done as far as visitors to the site, reader interaction, and we have also been fortunate enough to team up with a good amount of prominent partners and sponsors. Of course this is when all of the phonies make their grand entrance.

Regardless of the fact that I had contacted their hosting provider, WomanTribune.net is still up and while they are not stealing our content directly, they are stealing from another prominent publication for women. Each and every article on their website is directly from Glamour.com. Sure, Glamour probably isn’t losing sleep over something like this, but the fact remains that what this website is doing is illegal and their host, (LunarPages, by the way, in case you were wondering what host to watch out for since they obviously condone copyright violation) will do nothing about it.

While this website tried to leech off of us and be bad humans, they didn’t get away with it but I did want to take a few moments to give all of our readers a heads up.
