I’m so glad to have found a site where ideas are being exchanged for repurposing baby furniture!

Wow, I can’t believe how amazing the drink cart looks — what a great idea. I would love to hear more ideas, as I am not at all creative, but once I see an idea like that it is fun to implement and try it out. I wonder what I could do with some of my other unused furniture just sitting around in my basement.

That is a very neat idea. I recently purchase a toddlers bed from babys ‘r us that can be transform into a full size bed. The bed itself is about $200 more than normal toddlers bed but well worth the price considering that the bed will last for over 10 years.

With so many people renovating and re-using items in their homes, the equipment needed – everything from paint to sanders – is available every where – and cheap, too!

I have a beautiful chest/wardrobe that would be perfect for a nursery. However, it has been in a damp basement for years. I’m not sure if it is solid wood or not. I’m afraid it may have mold or mildew (even though I can’t see any that’s visible). Is there a proper way to clean it, or should I not even consider the idea of using it for baby’s clothing. Thanks!

This is actually a good idea to organize crafts- good for kids crafts in a mudroom or kitchen.
Nice way to store paints, pipe cleaners and glue

That drink cart is a wonderful idea. The hanging glasses seems a bit tricky, but the effect is great.

I just purchased a changing table on clearance ($20). It works well as storage in my bathroom and it matches the cherry wood cabinets. I have baskets with towels, toiletries, candles, and some decorative items displayed on it.

That is a great idea for a drinking cart. And if I didn’t have a need for one before, I certainly will by the time I am done with the baby change table.
