Betty Crocker Molasses Cookie Mix and Prize Pack Giveaway [Closed]

Betty Crocker Molasses Cookie Mix Prize Pack

I have frequently disclosed my complete and utter lack of culinary prowess; everything kitchen-related easily boggles my mind and if there isn’t a clear and concise set of instructions, I am lost. This is precisely why I am a big fan of any product that makes it easier for me to spend about 30 minutes in the kitchen and come out unscathed and with something edible. Luckily for all people (and products) involved, that is exactly what I was able to do a few nights ago when I went into the kitchen and grabbed the new Betty Crocker Molasses Cookie Mix.

Molasses is a taste that I don’t get very often due to the severe lack of easy (and that is always the key word) ways to prepare and produce it at home. Betty Crocker’s Molasses Cookie Mix takes just three ingredients and 10 minutes before I can indulge myself in warm, soft, chewy cookies packed with molasses, cinnamon and spice.

Included in the Betty Crocker Molasses Cookie Mix Prize Pack, which we received from the awesome folks over at MyBlogSpark, was a plastic spoon. One would assume that this spoon is used to stir the three ingredients–1/2 cup of butter, 1 tablespoon of water and 1 egg–into the mix in order to create cookie dough. That is what I assumed, anyway, but that did not work. In order for the amount of moisture those ingredients create to get to all that dry mix, you have to use your hands. So where does that aforementioned plastic spoon come in? I have not a clue.

For the first time possibly ever, I didn’t burn the cookies I made at all; not even the bottoms which always, always happens.
