Lady Gaga has Raised $250K for Japan Relief Efforts

Lady Gaga announced just yesterday that a “We Pray For Japan” prayer bracelet, in which the pop icon designed herself, is available for pre-order on her official website. Since that news, the bracelets have already brought in over $250,000 that will be donated to an undisclosed (at this time) charity that is mobilized to provide relief efforts in Japan after the devastating 8.9-magnitude earthquake and subsequent massive tsunami that hit the area last Friday.

The prayer bracelet, which features Japanese and English characters, as well as her Little Monsters logo, are available on the official Lady Gaga website and are $5 each. The bracelets will ship on and after March 25th.

Charlie Sheen Has a New, Official Website and a Record-Breaking New Tour

Charlie Sheen has been “winning” the internet one step at a time and he now has an official home on the internet.

CharlieSheen.com was launched late Friday night and contains very little. Merely a unique rant video, his Twitter stream, T-shirts for sale and a link to purchase tickets for his new mini-tour. Yes, a mini-tour, where a number of lucky folks who were online in time to score tickets will be able to be witness to Charlie Sheen’s rants in person; because videos and Sheen’s Korner just isn’t enough!

Sarah Palin Doesn’t Seem Too Happy About Julianne Moore Playing Her in “Game Change” Movie [Video]

Last week, HBO Films announced that actress Julianne Moore will be playing Sarah Palin in the film adaptation of Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s 2008 presidential election tell-all book, Game Change, in which Palin was John McCain’s Republican vice-presidential running mate. Also known as the moment in which the world, besides Alaska, was made aware of Sarah Palin’s existence.

Warner Bros. Television Has Fired Charlie Sheen from “Two and a Half Men”

It seems the people at Warner Bros. Television are none too pleased with Charlie Sheen’s behavior as of late, not to mention his new Ustream show, Sheen’s Korner. Charlie Sheen has officially been fired from his show “Two and a Half Men”.

Warner Bros. Television sent the producers of “Two and a Half Men” a letter [PDF] informing them that Sheen was fired, saying:
“Mr. Sheen’s ongoing conduct, statements and condition are grounds not only for suspension of Mr. Sheen but also for termination of the Agreement under Paragraphs 12, and/or 13 of the Agreement. … WBTV hereby exercises its right to terminate Mr. Sheen’s Agreement and/or his employment under it. To the extent notice of termination is required, please consider this letter as providing such notice.”
