Melissa Joan Hart Hits Dancing with the Stars and Wants Her Fans to Know Sabrina is Gone

Melissa Joan Hart Hits Dancing with the Stars and Wants Her Fans to Know Sabrina is Gone

Melissa Joan Hart danced the Viennese waltz with partner (and two-time champ) Mark Ballas on Dancing with the Stars. During her interview segment she stressed that she is now grown up, with a family and can appear feminine and grown up and would like her fans to know that her Sabrina the Teenaged Witch is gone and she is no longer that teenaged actress anymore.

While I can appreciate the fact that actors want to move on from the roles they are most known for, especially when you’re known for a show that was beloved by tweens for seven seasons, going on Dancing with the Stars is not what I would deem a career move. Love it or hate it, I believe that Dancing with the Stars was created to give washed up, has-been …

American Idol is Ready for Their First Blonde Judge

American Idol is Ready for Their First Blonde Judge

As soon as news was confirmed that Ellen DeGeneres would replace Paula Abdul as a judge on American Idol, news has been buzzing about why she was chosen to be an American Idol judge, if she’s qualified to be judging the talent that will appear on the show in the upcoming season(s) and mostly, what does Paula think of Ellen taking over her chair?

Well we didnt’ have to wait long to see Paula Abdul do her very best Ellen impersonation while hosting VH1′s Divas Live. Although, for clarification, at the end of her “Ellen sequence” she did want to clear up any impending rumors (because she knew there would be a ton of them!) by saying ‘All kidding aside, nothing but love Ellen. I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on your new gig.’ Here’s the video of Paula as Ellen….

Kate Gosselin’s Self-Proclaimed “Gift of Gab” Could Land Her a Talk Show… She Hopes

Kate Gosselin’s Self-Proclaimed “Gift of Gab” Could Land Her a Talk Show… She Hopes

Guest hosting three episodes of ABC’s The View last week, replacing Elisabeth Hasselbeck who is on maternity leave, was only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Kate Gosselin’s next career move.

According to the Charlotte Observer, while at Thursday’s Southern Women’s Show in Charlotte, North Carolina, Kate said “I’ve been given the gift of gab, so why not use it?” and when talking about her guest host spot on The View, she said that “it is sort of like a career move, so I had to do it.”

While Kate may view her spot on The View as a “career move,” I speculate that the we are seeing more of Kate’s accepting face (not the unacceptable face of the tabloids, mind you) in order to divulge even more intimate details of her …

New TV Fall Lineup: The Good Wife

New TV Fall Lineup: The Good Wife

Emmy award winner Julianna Margulies stars in the new CBS drama, The Good Wife, a story of Alicia Florrick, the wife of a politician who is exposed for having an affair with a prostitute. The Good Wife is obviously taken straight for real-life events of current politicians we’ve been seeing the scandals of unravel all over the media, like John Edwards, Eliot Spitzer and Mark Sanford, and of course, very much puts Alicia Florrick in the same position we still think of when we think of the life of Hillary Rodham Clinton, the life of which was even referenced in the pilot episode.

CBS has used the Tammy Wynette song ‘Stand By Your Man’ in its commercials for The Good Wife and that is exactly what we see Alicia Florrick doing in the opening …

New TV Fall Lineup: Accidentally on Purpose

New TV Fall Lineup: Accidentally on Purpose

Summer’s over, the kids are back in school, the temperature is dropping and the leaves are changing (here in Pennsylvania anyway,) and like music to women’s ears everywhere, that means that there is some brand spankin’ new TV hitting the airwaves for the new fall lineup. One show hitting the scene tomorrow is the new CBS sitcom Accidentally on Purpose, a romantic comedy sitcom starring Golden Globe award winner Jenna Elfman.

Jenna Elfman plays a late-thirty-something newspaper film critic who is barely surviving a humiliating breakup with her boyfriend of three years who is also her boss, James (played by Grant Show) who couldn’t commit. While out one night with her “party girl” best friend Olivia (played by Ashley Jensen) and her conventional, younger and married sister Abby (played by Lennon Parham,) she meets …
