Vibrators
Harmonia – $49.99
The Harmonia is the type of vibrator that every girl needs to have in her toy box. It is orgasmic for vaginal and anal penetration, feels wonderful as a clit and nipple massager, and feels just as heavenly when rubbing it along the thighs, buttocks, back, and belly. The Harmonia is perfect for couples who want to add something special to their sex toy repertoire or just for any girl who wants a vibrator with a little bit more class, beauty, and oomph.
Ina – $155.99
The Ina is made to be a dual stimulator – housing a motor in both the dildo portion and the clitoral stimulator. It has an insertable portion that is curved to apply pressure and vibrations to the g-spot while the outer stimulator lays against the clitoris. Think ‘rabbit’, but way different – the Ina is a sleek sophisticated take on dual stimulation. If you like dual stimulation, firm pressure and strong vibes, Ina’s the one for you.
Climax Gems Margarita Bubbly – $20.99
Quiet, flexible and designed for pleasure, this nubby toy is a dream come true. Covered in stimulating nubs, the soft material and texture of this vibrator will satisfy your desires. Concentrated in the rounded head, the multiple speed vibrations are controlled by twisting the dial base. The dial has deep grooves to prevent slipping if the toy becomes covered in lubricant or water. Flexible tip can be flexed ninety degrees in almost any direction.
Dildos
Lovemoiselle Elodie – $53.99
Elodie is the French Vanilla of the Lovemoiselle sisters. She’s got none of the bells and whistles, but her simple design delivers the smooth, silky pleasures you’ve been craving. Crafted of hygienic, nonporous ceramic, Elodie is a sturdy, down-to-earth toy who cuts the small talk and gets right down to business. The Elodie is made of sturdy ceramic and glazed with a slick, frictionless finish. It’s so smooth that you might not even need lube, but in case you reach for your favorite bottle: no worries, all lubes are compatible.
Astro Vibe Kit – $47.99
This is a vibrating silicone dildo, with a very large diameter. It is easy to clean and provides mild stimulation through a bullet. The bullet can be a little difficult to remove. This is clearly a dildo/vibrator designed to stimulate women but, as I thought about it for anal usage, it would be equally appropriate for men. At the time of this writing, I’m unsure as to what color options are available.
Climax Silicone Ribbed G-Shaft – $33.99
The Climax Silicone Ribbed G-shaft is a solid, gorgeously colored g-spot dildo with a slight curve and ridges that can be easily felt but are not too intense The easy to use handle doubles as a bullet holder that turns the entire toy into a vibrating pleasure shaft with a moderate length and girth. The firm yet flexible silicone is sterilizable and the included drawstring pouch helps keep it clean when not in use.
Masturbators
Carmen’s Tight Ass – $19.99
Carmen’s Tight Ass is a sexy new masturbation sleeve with a detailed anus opening, internal ribbing, and a closed end construction for tight clinging sensations. Soft, lifelike Futurotic® material lends a realistic feel to the toy, which can be maintained by applying the included talc-free powder to the toy before and after use. Large external ribs allow for a comfortable grip, super stretchy 7″ sleeve will accommodate most sizes.
Senso Lips – $23.99
Show me a guy that doesn’t like a good smacking blowjob. Now you can get the hottest oral sex action whenever and for as much as you desire it with the Senso lips masturbator by California Exotic. This jelly masturbator is shaped like a sensuous mouth and nose, so it is very easy to imagine a girl sucking on your love rod with all the joy and delight that come to your mind. The package comes equipped with lube so the toy is ready for your cock right from the box.
Cock Rings
Ying Yang Love Ring – $13.99
Experience powerful and long-lasting erections with this super stretchy penis ring. Made from 100% hygienically superior silicone, this ring is non-toxic and non-sticky, as well as completely odorless and very easy to clean. The ring is set in a fabulous black and white color pattern and features internal pressure-point nodes for direct shaft stimulation. Add girth and prolong ejaculation with this wonderful piece.
Aventurine – $69.99
The Aventurine cock ring from Luxotiq is a rigid, band-style cock ring made out of semi-precious stone. It harnesses many of the features of glass but with greater durability. In a very attractive shade of green, it combines function with beauty in a very unique and satisfying way. Take the time to measure yourself to get the right size. The cock ring is pretty, but not as beautiful as the picture. I was disappointed because the one we have is too small for use. I think most men probably need the 2 inch size.
Lotions & Potions
Oil of Love – $19.99
Silky to the touch and enchanting to the taste, a whisper-soft blow on these delicately scented oils warms the skin with a tingly glow. Where the hand first discovers their presence, the lips are sure to follow. Each irresistibly edible water-based oil washes away easily, leaving only the sweet memory of a lingering touch. While it’s not a true oil and, as such, less long lasting, a dime or nickel sized dollop gives a good ten minute massage. And you can always add more!
Sliquid Swirl (green apple) – $11.99
Sliquid Swirl lubricants are an excellent lubricant for people who not only need a little bit more slip and slide, but want a delicious taste as well. This non-toxic and non-staining lubricant is an excellent choice over other flavored lubes because it is glycerine free and hypoallergenic so you are less likely to have any irritation or reaction to it; and because it is water based, it is completely safe for use with condoms and for intercourse.

I have had my eye on the Better Than Chocolate ($80 $64) designer vibrator by Nomi Tang for quite a while–since I had first seen the Sasi come out and started researching cheaper alternatives to the seemingly all-knowing, human-like clitoral stimulator because I’ll be the first one to stand up and say that paying up to $150 for an orgasm, albeit what is being said to be an amazing orgasm, but still an orgasm just the same, is pretty insane–especially if you take that conversation up with my bank account. The Better Than Chocolate had me at its name alone; me and chocolate have always had a very close, personal relationship and I wonder if Nomi Tang had this in mind when giving this vibrator a name, but it is also the name of my second-favorite movie of all time (it’s a fairly unknown, independent, lesbian niche film so if you haven’t heard of it, it’s okay, I forgive you.)
As you can probably imagine, I was on top of the world when Eden Fantasys gave me the opportunity to review the Better Than Chocolate vibrator. After lusting after it for so long, the time had finally come; I would have the Better Than Chocolate in my possession and my anticipation built day by day as I waited for it to arrive. But after a few rolls around in the hay with it, I am very sad to report that the Better Than Chocolate does not live up to its name–in the form of decadent, lovely chocolate treats or to its film namesake.
The general consensus among reviewers of the Better Than Chocolate is that it is futuristic in its visual appeal, high-tech in function and generally beyond the realm of technology we usually encounter in vibrators. These all describe it pretty well and are all true in their own way but I would also like to add confusing and frustrating to the mix. Confusing in the respect that this is the only sex toy I have ever owned that I had to read (and re-read) the user manual to figure out how, exactly, the batteries fit inside it. The one side of the vibrator twists and is supposed to come off. I got it to twist and soon realized I had no upper body strength whatsoever as I attempted to remove the side in order to expose the compartment which contains the batteries. It did, however, provide a deep sense of accomplishment when I figured it out. The word frustrating comes to mind with this vibrator because it provides you with every element of a truly sensational sex toy and will arouse you to the point of climax and then it keeps you there and regardless of the different sensations it provides with its vibrations, it is just not enough to push you over the edge.
Putting aside the fact that this vibrator does not deliver in the terms of a toy that can bring you and then send you over the hilt, I was very much impressed by its shape and how it functions in terms of changing vibrations and speed while using it. The Better Than Chocolate was molded by a person who has a truly deep understanding of the female body in all of it’s curvaceous glory. It fits perfectly against your body and allows you to simply run your hand down the length of it in order to change the settings, which is definitely much easier than having to twist a knob or pull a lever in order to get a change of sensation.
Better Than Chocolate is the toy to take out when you are in for a long, sensuous and thrilling time with a partner, in my opinion. One of those nights where you are just enjoying each other and exploring each other’s bodies as if it were the first time you were coming into contact with it; a time when an orgasm isn’t necessarily on the menu, but a toe-curling surprise at the end of a truly romantic night. The volume of its buzz is quite low, compared to other vibrators, so it isn’t going to sound like you just started up your car when the mood is just right, and contrary to the fact that its design and sensations are meant to cater to a woman’s body and pleasure, men can also enjoy this toy! In fact, my partner tried the Better Than Chocolate out before I did. Now keep in mind that he is a curved man, so the Better Than Chocolate fit against him quite well, and being a man who hardly ever has an orgasm on the menu, but instead enjoys the sensations of a vibrator against him, he thoroughly enjoyed it and I suspect he will continue to put this vibrator to more good use on himself–and also on me when the mood is just right. The Better Than Chocolate is also completely waterproof, so feel free to take your romantic night into the bathtub.
While I wouldn’t generally recommend this vibrator as a go-to for masturbation, it does make for one of the best partnered play toys out there and can truly compliment a romantic night. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Eden Fantasys has discounted this item so pick it up now for just $64 instead of it’s regularly-priced $80.
Nipple clamps have always intrigued me. With most adult toys, most specifically vibrators and dildos, you know what you’re getting. While the material its made out of may be different and its curves are solely its own, when it comes right down to it, you know what it’s going to do and you have somewhat of an idea of how it will feel when it’s doing its thing. Nipple clamps are the complete opposite. If you’ve never felt them before, you have no idea what to expect, hence my intrigue. Being a woman who is all about breast and nipple play, it seemed only logical that I would have some nipple clamps in my arsenal of toys; but it wasn’t until recently when I took the leap and really checked them out. The reason for this is because with most sex toys, again mostly with vibrators and dildos, you can check out the product information for it’s length and girth and know it’s pretty much going to fit. With nipple clamps, you can’t really make sure they are going to fit you right. Nipples come in all shapes, sizes and forms and they are all a little different. With the variety of different nipple clamps out there, there are those made for bigger nipples, others made for smaller ones and regardless of how many nipples you’ve seen in your lifetime, when you look down and try to determine what category yours belong to, well, it gets a little confusing. You find yourself thinking ‘Well, how big is big anyway? How small do they have to be to fit in these? Throughout my research on nipple clamps, I was really very close to taking a picture of mine and sending it to some discussion board asking for insight on what nipple clamps would accommodate what I’m working with.
Luckily, I did not have to bare most for the sake of picking the right clamps for me, because Eden Fantasys came to the rescue, sending me three different sets of nipple clamps to make sure I found at least one pair that I was delighted with.
First we have The Terrifying:
Endurance Clamp nipple clamps by Spartacus Enterprise
The Endurance Clamp nipple clamps ($14.99) only lasted about five seconds on me and I’m pretty proud of myself for lasting that long, albeit yelling the entire time. Before encountering these clamps, I thought I had endurance. I am fairly seasoned in the BDSM world, would consider myself a bit of a masochist, and lastly, hell, I used to have my nipples pierced; if that doesn’t show a level of endurance when it comes to pain, please enlighten me as to what does. I swear, ever since the very first time those nipple clamps came into contact with me, whenever I think of giving them another chance my nipples retract into themselves in protest.
My reaction to these clamps is astonishing to me because the review of them on the site makes them seem quite mild, saying that they provide lighter and wider teasing action. They feature wider alligator tips compared to traditional tips found on most other nipple clamps and are said to be perfect for people with big nipples to experience the fun nipple clamps can provide. Now perhaps my nipples are giant and I was just never informed about this, but in all honesty, I’d say that they are pretty average. Not small or insignificant in the least, but definitely not taking over my entire breast. This is exactly where the confusion over the size of one’s nipples and the hypotheses of the functionality of nipple clamps come into play–right from the product description. They were a little difficult to get on and absolutely nothing about the sensations felt from these clamps could be compared to the word light. These clamps are absolutely terrifying and someone would have to beg, plead and pay me to endure another five seconds because oh my goodness, ouch.
I had pretty high expectations from the Nipplettes nipple clamps ($24.99) for one sole reason–how can you possibly get any better than nipple clamps that vibrate? Well, the Nipplettes sadly did not live up to my expectations of them–not even close. First of all, they are adjustable and at first, I thought this was a pro, until they wouldn’t fit or stay on even adjusted to be the tightest they could go. They are a velvety plastic material, which doesn’t give too much of a bite to your nipples; they just kind of hang there for a few seconds and then slip off. I tried holding them on with my hands and even pushed down on them to get some sort of mildly enjoyable feeling, but no avail.
When you get right down to it, Nipplettes were very frustrating and provided very little sensation at all; however, they are extremely gratifying when used on other places of your body that also enjoys a little vibration and for that, I’ll most definitely be keeping them handy.
Rating:
Luckily, out of the three nipple clamps I was sent, one pair really did get the job done in a fantastic way, so let’s take a look at The Good:
Fresh Jaws nipple clamps by PHS International
Fresh Jaws Nipple Clamps by PHS International
Fresh Jaws Nipple Clampssound a lot more terrifying than they are. They pack a great bite that skirts right on the verge of too tight, passing a message through your head that screams ‘Oww… wait, that feels really good!’ They are not clamps you can attach all in one fell swoop, but over the course of a few seconds to help your nipples get acclimated to their strength. While the product description says that they are not to be used by those who have not had moderate to heavy BDSM experiences, they are a lot more easy-going than the terrifying Endurance Clamp nipple clamps and so I will just come right out and say that the person writing these product description totally lies. Yeah, I said it. I find these extremely enjoyable, although at first, and please keep in mind that these products were my very first in the nipple clamps category, I could not figure out for the life of me how they opened and if left to my own devices, would have probably tried fitting my nipples into the little open slots that turned out to be what you squeeze together to get them to open.
The chain linking the clamps together is a great way to deliver shocking pain to both nipples at once and with these clamps, as soon as they are biting down, you can roll around, jump up and down, run a marathon, or do whatever else you want to do without worrying about them slipping off–once they’re on, they’re on until you release them, which is a gigantic plus! Lastly, these clamps are super cute. They are vibrant, happy and extremely satisfying.
January has already come and gone, and with it are the New Year’s resolutions that have already been lost. This year, more than any other year before, I noticed more and more people making New Year’s resolutions for their blogging life, rather than their day-to-day, and a great deal of those bloggers are still going strong. Two of my favorite, favorite bloggers have both been achieving the same resolution, and that is to participate in (and hopefully finish) the 365 Days project on Flickr.
For the past month I have seen both of these bloggers take a self-portrait and post it on their blogs each and every single day and it has been an awesomely eye-opening experience as the blog reader, to get a glimpse into the lives of the people behind some of my favorite blogs. It only took a month of me almost obsessively visiting these blogs just to see their new 365 self-portraits to want to join in on the fun, and so February 1st marks my official start with 365 Days. Woman Tribune has a brand new Flickr account (so be sure to connect with us over there,) and with this, I will also be blogging on a personal level once a day, which is something very new for me to be doing on Woman Tribune. As anyone who reads us regularly, personal anecdotes are weaved through a lot of the posts, but it is very rare for me to be uncensored and unapologetically open, so giving you all a more intimate, if you will, look at my day-to-day life is something that is actually very exciting for me to be dabbling with and I hope you all enjoy your daily look into my life.
For the first day of the 365 Days project, I wanted to share a little morsel of awesomeness I had become aware of a little over a month ago, and that is the new book from Babeland–Moregasm: Babeland’s Guide to Mind-Blowing Sex. This book is a sex advice, sex tips, how-to and self help book all rolled into one. It cuts through the traditional taboos society had already put in place for us a long, long time ago. It opens up discussions on sexual relationships when you’re trans, which is what I was first so giddily happy about when I had first opened it. Usually, when the topic of sex and sexuality comes up on a blog, we have a tendency to speak about sexual relationships as if they only happen between cisgendered beings, but what happens when someone just so happens to have been born with male genitalia but is truly a woman? This book opens up that discussion, which I loved. It of course features a great deal of sex toys, which is only natural for a book put out by a feminist-friendly sex toy shop whose ultimate goal is to sell more sex toys. It contains a multitude of sections on different sexual practices, lifestyles and bedroom play including, but not limited to, BDSM play and anal play. However, please remember that if you engage in any type of BDSM/bondage play, to do with a partner you know and trust and to have a safe word. It also covers practicing safe sex and how to be the safest you can possibly be when engaging in any type of sexual act, and a Q&A section that answers all of those pesky and sometimes embarrassing questions you may have about sex, like ‘Hey, what was that sound and is it supposed to come out of there?’ This book is definitely a must-read for any sexual being, regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or relationship status.
I went into a little more detail about Moregasm in a video review I recorded for my other blog, Menstrual Poetry, which deals with mostly feminist issues and activism. You can check out the video review of Moregasmhere.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Split-Self. All opinions are 100% mine.
It’s no surprise that I am a huge fan of the young adult and chick lit genres. They are often very satisfying, light and decadent treats that make their frequent appearances in our book reviews section. While I read an array of different genres of books, it’s the chick lit books that let you wind down and curl up with at the end of a busy and stressful day and bring you into a world of humor and just often enough, lightheartedness.
There’s a book that just emerged on the scene that is self-defined as changing the course of chick lit and after reading a little bit about it, I am inclined to agree. Split-Self is a new book from F.S. Publishing that is your typical romance novel that will undoubtedly be intriguing to a great deal of people who have especially hopped on the Twilight and True Blood bandwagons. The main character of the story is a vampire who draws energy out of other people in order to supplement her own and she does this by feeding on them in seductive and totally hot encounters that leave them begging for more. But what this books has that redefines the typical chick lit genre we are all familiar with is that Split-Self revolves around a romance between a woman and a man… and another man. In F.S. Publishing’s own words: “Boy likes girl, boy also likes boy … girl thinks that’s hot.”
The romance itself in this novel will surely put a lot of people off from wanting to read it, but what I would really like to explore is the fact that why I automatically know in my gut that a great deal of people will not want to read it because the couple in the book is not a couple, but a polyamorous relationship containing one woman and two men. When people hear about most polyamorous relationships, especially with the induction of the HBO show Big Love and traditional polygamy being centered around one man with multiple wives. I actually really love the idea of a polyamorous relationship that includes one woman and two men; it’s a great spin and is actually a great deal more realistic than many may think.
Polyamory is not “new” by any means; it is not merely an open relationship, where people within a foundation relationship have permission to seek whatever they choose and have already agreed on beforehand outside of that relationship. What polyamory is, in fact, is more than two people in one, committed relationship. There are many sex educators and family therapists that counsel, have written books and have taught at lectures and workshops who educate people and couples of all kinds on how to live life with limitless sexual possibilities and while open and poly relationships are not merely based on sexual gratification, sexuality is one of the factors that could potentially cause rifts in your relationships due to jealousy and other conflicting emotions. One of the most intriguing non-fiction books I have found on the subject that I actually ordered the day after I discovered it is The Ethical Slut from educators and practicing “ethical sluts” Dossie Easton and Catherine A. Liszt.
When you look at this topic from a wide angle and disregard the many, many immediate responses you will hear when a debate like this pops up such as the “sanctity of marriage,” poly relationships actually make a lot of sense. Very few animals are monogamous and as it turns out, very few married people, both male and female alike, are monogamous. According to the Journal of Couple and Relationship Therapy approximately 50% of married women and 60% of married men will have extramarital affairs at some point while in their marriage. With statistics like these, it means that in nearly 80% of marriages as a whole, someone in that marriage is cheating on their spouse.
Given all of these little tidbits of information I have gathered, as well as my personal feelings on the topic, which is that in a relationship of any kind, what works for those people in that relationship is fine by me and I am not one to pass judgment on anyone or anyone’s relationship, I now want some of your input! What do you think of polyamorous relationships? Do they work? Can they work? Are you in one? Care to share any details? Leave whatever’s on your mind on the topic in the comments!

Eden Fantasys is a woman-positive, sex-positive sex toy shop you can trust–but they are much more than merely a sex toy retailer. They are a welcoming, diverse, open-minded community full of inspiring resources, a blog and an online magazine. This holiday season, Eden Fantasys is also giving folks loads of ideas for holiday gifts and (adult) stocking stuffers.
The Chocolates Sweet Spot Kit ($32.99) is the perfect holiday gift for the special woman in your life. It contains a little something for everyone which can be used alone, or all at once.
The kit includes a traditional vibe, Pocket Rocket and a bullet-style vibrator all in metallic brown color that shimmers and matches the bottle of chocolate flavored lotion perfectly! This is definitely a kit that will let your sweet experience something truly sweet of her own and it also provides some great starters for foreplay, especially when you bring out the chocolate flavored lotion.
The traditional vibe and bullet-style vibrator have multiple speeds for enhanced and drawn out pleasure and the Pocket Rocket has one speed, but I really wish it also had multiple speeds; that is what would have brought my rating up to a 5-star, instead of 4. In my “research,” I found that while the bullet-style vibrator was fun at first, once things really got going, I couldn’t feel its intensity in me as much as I did when I first started playing with it, but that could definitely vary from woman to woman and I’m more of the oral persuasion when it comes to the most intense pleasure–and on that note, the Pocket Rocket is my new best friend. It is hands down one of my favorite toys now and it ranked pretty high up there in just the first time I used it. The chocolate flavored lotion is definitely lotion that I would use for very light, erotic massaging or especially a hand job and the taste is a little odd. Although I can definitely taste the chocolate flavoring in it, it kind of shocks your mouth when you first taste it.
Overall, this is a fabulous gift for the special woman in your life that you’d like to surprise with a night, or nights of fun, adult play.
