I don’t have a sex toy review for you today; instead I have a review of a vaginal health aid. I am all about vaginal health, so who knows, this could be just as fun as a sex toy review.

Most women know of the advantages of kegel exercises–stories, jokes, and tips about them have appeared in numerous ladies’ television shows and movies–but up until recently, I had been doing them the old-fashioned way; without the help of kegel exerciser balls. I have been terribly curious about kegel balls for a little while now, but also a bit perplexed with them, as in I didn’t know if they would do much for me. I’m a young woman (early 20′s) and have never had a child. I have, however, had a lot of sex and I own a lot of sex toys, a few of them that grace the wish lists of size queens everywhere. Did I have something to be gravely concerned about? Of course not, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t interested in the powers of kegel balls and if they would have any magical effect on me. MyPleasure recently sent me Textured K-Balls to review and I was oh so super excited to try them out.

These Textured K-Balls are made by Ophoria, of 100% pure Japanese platinum silicone. They are 4 inches by 1 1/2 inches at their widest point, the silicone string attached to them is 3 1/2 inches in length, and they are gorgeous; even the pink and white cardboard box they come packaged in is gorgeous. Each of the kegel balls contain weighted shakers inside of them. Here’s how the scenario plays out: You insert the Textured K-Balls (if necessary, you use some great water-based lube for ease of entry) and use your internal muscles to squeeze down onto the balls. If you’re standing, the weights inside the kegel balls will make you need to squeeze your muscles tighter around the balls to keep them inside of you. There are four textured rings around the K-Balls which provide some added stimulation internally and the shaker weights, when moving, provide even more stimulation.

Here’s how my scenario with the Textured K-Balls played out: A tiny dollop of water-based lube was almost necessary for insertion. I could have inserted them without it, but the lube made insertion a whole lot easier. That should have been the very indicator that I wouldn’t have too much trouble keeping the kegel balls in. These kegel balls were a bit too big to work correctly for me; I didn’t have to use my internal muscles almost at all to keep them in, but there is something about these balls that really did work for me. As I mentioned, the shakers provide a good amount of internal stimulation when you’re moving, making me want to move all the time. Seriously, I would have competed in a triathlon to continue the stimulation the shakers provided, granted I had the physical endurance to do so.

It is incredibly awesome that the string attached to the balls is made of silicone. That way, it doesn’t get dirty over time and then make you feel pretty gross if you go to use a toy that has an attached fabric string and it looks not-so-pristine. Silicone also makes the string very easy to grab onto and retrieve the kegel balls after use.

Kegel exercises and the use of kegel balls are meant to locate your PC muscles and make performing kegel exercises easier and more effective, they strengthen your vaginal muscles for more intense orgasms and giving a lover a sense of tightness. They are also ideal for women who have given birth and for bringing incontinence under control. Kegel balls have an incredible effect on your vaginal health and I think I’ll put my Textured K-Balls away for just a little while longer until they can prove themselves to be more effective.

Thanks to MyPleasure for the opportunity to review Textured K-Balls.
A few months ago I was contacted via Twitter by a delightful and enthusiastic woman who was the blogger outreach and off-site review program coordinator from Eden Fantasys. Because a company is only as good as the person whom you have direct contact with, and because this woman was just downright awesome, I began a partnership between Woman Tribune and Eden Fantasys. I immediately began hosting contests for gift cards, reviewing products for our love and sex category, putting up their banners and telling all of my friends about how great their site was. I sent a lot of people to Eden Fantasys who spent a lot of money.

Everything regarding this partnership was going great and I was an enthusiastic affiliate. Not only did I link to them through banners, text links, posts and pages on Woman Tribune, I did the same on my other (far more liberal) website, Menstrual Poetry, which in turn generated more income for Eden Fantasys. I loved the sense of community I was overwhelmed with on the site and began contributing more reviews and became active in the forums. In short: I was in sex blogger community heaven.

One week ago a member of the community and highly prolific and well-known sex blogger Epiphora was banned from Eden Fantasys. A thread was posted in the Eden Fantasys forums announcing her banning, citing her as “having an adverse effect on the positive culture at EF” and claiming they receive “continuous complaints about her drama, rudeness, and overall negativity.”

Well, that’s all well and good. Eden Fantasys was disclosing that they had collectively decided to ban a member of the community and were just following their policy that they would be transparent regarding all the goings-on within the community. However, according to Epiphora’s post, which cited all of the posts she had made within the forums that could be construed as offensive over the past year, she had no warning about her so-called drama, rudeness, and overall negativity and after reading her forum contributions, I personally see nothing wrong with anything she brought up within the forums. She merely woke up that morning to an email from Eden Fantasys saying that she was banned and that the decision was final. What’s worth noting here is that it is also Eden Fantasys’ policy to warn their contributors of being out of line or offending others in the forums before banning them which is something that they did not do, again, according to Epiphora.

That was the first sign of drama within the time frame I had been a part of Eden Fantasys. I was not the only one who had been put-off by the forum post made by a staff member of the company who claimed transparency and many other contributors disagreed with the way Eden Fantasys had handled the situation.

It was this first straw that prompted me to look into Eden Fantasys the business and oh what a potluck of horrendous business practices I found.

Aag Blog, another very well-known sex blogger, had once been employed by Eden Fantasys. She was not paid for work she had completed. After taking the company owner (Fred Petrenko) to small claims court for the $1200 for work previously agreed upon, the company owner had sent a lawyer to her small town (undoubtedly racking up legal fees more than what Aag was owed) to get out of having to pay her on unfounded technicalities.

Essin’ Em has two posts and there’s also one from That Toy Chick containing compelling and wildly unfortunate additions to Eden Fantasys’ business practices.

Fast-forward to last night. Maybe Maimed wrote an important, must-read article, Edenfantasys’s unethical technology is a self-referential black hole. Maybe Maimed’s post exposes how Eden Fantasys “has invested a staggering amount of time and money to develop and implement a technology platform that actively denies others the courtesy of link reciprocity.”

Because it’s just easier than trying to put it into my own, tech-y words, I am republishing Maybe Maimed’s Executive Summary of the article in full:

Internet sex toy retailer Web Merchants, Inc., which bills itself as the “sex shop you can trust” and does business under the name EdenFantasys, has implemented technology on their websites that actively interferes with contributors’ content, intercepts outgoing links, and alters republished content so that links in the original work are redirected to themselves. Using techniques widely acknowledged as unethical by Internet professionals and that are arguably in violation of major search engines’ policies, EdenFantasys’s publishing platform has effectively outsourced the task of “link farming” (a questionable Search Engine Marketing [SEM] technique) to sites with which they have “an ongoing relationship,” such as AlterNet.org, other large news hubs, and individual bloggers’ blogs.

Articles published on EdenFantasys websites, such as the “community” website SexIs Magazine, contain HTML crafted to look like links, but aren’t. When visited by a typical human user, a program written in JavaScript and included as part of the web pages is automatically downloaded and intercepts clicks on these “link-like” elements, fetching their intended destination from the server and redirecting users there. Due to the careful and deliberate implementation, the browser’s status bar is made to appear as though the link is legitimate, and that a destination is provided as expected.

For non-human visitors, including automated search engine indexing programs such as Googlebot, the “link” remains non-functional, making the article a search engine’s dead-end or “orphan” page whose only functional links are those whose destination is EdenFantasys’s own web presence. This makes EdenFantasys’ website(s) a self-referential black hole that provides no reciprocity for contributors who author content, nor for any website ostensibly “linked” to from article content. At the same time, EdenFantasys editors actively solicit inbound links from individuals and organizations through “link exchanges” and incentive programs such as “awards” and “free” sex toys, as well as syndicating SexIs Magazine content such that the content is programmatically altered in order to create multiple (real) inbound links to EdenFantasys’s websites after republication on their partner’s media channels.

Understandably, contributors of the Eden Fantasys community were concerned about what they had learned about Eden Fantasys and their unethical linking practices and a post was started in the forum about it. The post garnered 28 responses from equally concerned contributors asking Eden Fantasys for an explanation. Eden Fantasys, the company that had just been boasting about transparency deleted this forum thread. Luckily, someone took a screenshot of the thread in full before it was deleted, catching onto the fact that Eden Fantasys may not want everyone knowing about their linking practices and sensing a coverup in the making.

You see, when you click on a link through the Eden Fantasys website or SexIs you are taken to the out-of-site destination, if you have JavaScript enabled on your browser. If you disable JavaScript and try to click on those same links, they do nothing. Those links are illusions and are not real links and do not provide real link back properties like hits to your website or an income traffic alert on your blog administrative panel. You did not get that link back and search engines do not see that link at all.

Sex, Lies & Law began another thread on the forum addressing the deletion of the post and again, asking for Eden Fantasys to address this issue. With 5 replies and a post by a staff member, this thread was closed for discussion and a link to an “explanation” was provided.

The so-called explanation to the unethical linking practices was addressed by the president of Eden Fantasys and provided a lot of non-answers and failed examples. According to the president of Eden Fantasys, their linkfarming is a common practice used by other user-driven websites and without cheating people out of real links to their blogs from Eden Fantasys, malicious software would be inserted into the site and the entire site would die. It’s for our own good and oh wait, let’s throw in some strings of words like “AJAX with DotNET and JQuery frameworks” to jumble the minds of those who may have no idea what we are talking about so they can take us at our word.

After going through each and every website that was linked to having the same linking platform such as CNN, USA Today and cele|bitchy with JavaScript enabled, links to out-of-site destinations work just the same because they are real links. One logical explanation as to why is because Eden Fantasys is not using the same Javascript linking platform as any of those sites, as they claim.

After people congratulated the president of Eden Fantasys for providing such a “thorough and well-written explanation” I put in my two cents because Eden Fantasys is a company that is about transparency and who value the contributions of their community. Right?

My entire response to this thread was deleted in the amount of time it took me to take out the garbage. I unfortunately did not get a screenshot of my response on the site, but what I wrote is as follows:

“I am sorry, but this doesn’t look like a misunderstanding to me. Not in the slightest.

Sure, the entire basis of this post relies on addressing emotional gut reactions to people realizing that they are being cheated out of backlinks from Eden Fantasys while being told they must provide three links to EF in every review they publish on their websites, (ie: we do this for your own good and let’s cite a bunch of technological terms most of you won’t understand but keep the bottom line that without us doing this, the entire site would die and all of your hard work would be lost and oh yeah, we care about you and need you to keep EF alive.)

The biggest problem I have here is that when you go to any of the pages on Eden Fantasys and SexIs, after disabling Javascript, you are not able to click on any links because there are no links there. They are an illusion. However, after just going through every single other site you linked to and doing the exact same thing, disabling Javascript and then clicking on a link within any of the websites above, the links work and go to their out-of-site destination.

I do not need a paragraph of technological terms to tell me that in fact none of those sites use the same encapsulation as Eden Fantasys. If they did, they would function the same way EF does and they do not.

The encapsulation Eden Fantasys uses is against Google’s Webmaster Guidelines. It is not ethical and the people who were concerned about this violation were correct.

I will be leaving Eden Fantasys from this point forward and I urge all other contributors who care about the ethical standpoint of companies they work with to do the same.”

Someone responded to my post before it was deleted about how the explanation was not overly-technical and easy to understand and how people are reacting emotionally and not giving the president the chance to respond.

I’m sorry, but wasn’t this thread his response? I mean, this is the story he was going with and he did respond, now isn’t it the contributor’s turn to say something? Isn’t that why we have a forum, to ask questions and voice our concerns? Apparently not since my response was deleted. So I responded to the post of the person telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about, saying:

“I understand the problem that is trying to be avoided. I have been in the internet/blogging/web management world for over 9 years but the way it has been gone about is wrong. Hence why even the websites that were sorta-kinda but not really linked do not function the same as EF. That was my point, even though my post was deleted because I did not take this response at its word.”

This second contribution to the thread of a company who values transparency and the contribution of their community was also deleted in record timing. The reason? Exactly what I stated in my response. My replies were deleted because I did not say “Great job! Thanks for clearing that up!” But I wasn’t the only one whose replies were deleted, five other replies were also deleted.

After my second reply was deleted, I did not contribute anything else. It was obvious my contributions were not making Eden Fantasys look good and thus not welcome on their forums.

After spending some time away from the site, when I went back to see what else was going on, I found that I was not logged in. I have been banned by Eden Fantasys without my posts in any thread receiving any flags, without receiving a message, warning or email.

It is apparent now more than ever that Epiphora was banned just as she said she was. Without warning. How do I know that? Because it just happened to me. Not only that, but it also happened to others today.

Eden Fantasys is a sex toy shop and community no one can trust. They lie, cheat and break their own policies whenever it benefits them. They don’t give a damn about transparency or even giving their contributors the respect they have earned to speak their mind and ask questions. If you are current a reviewer for them, there are other far better, ethical and positive companies out there who are assets to the sex blogging community. I could not support Babeland and Good Vibrations enough.

The Dual Sensual Massager is a set of two separate massagers, one for him and one for her, each is shaped a little differently to specifically target the intimate contours of each other’s bodies and with four vibration modes, you can thoroughly experience and have fun exploring each other’s bodies and erogenous zones possibly all night long. It is made of soft, sensual material that feels comfortable and sexy against the skin, and the massagers are also water resistant and splash proof (not waterproof) and can be used with lubricant to enhance your experience.

January has already come and gone, and with it are the New Year’s resolutions that have already been lost. This year, more than any other year before, I noticed more and more people making New Year’s resolutions for their blogging life, rather than their day-to-day, and a great deal of those bloggers are still going strong. One of my favorite bloggers have been achieving the same resolution, and that is to participate in (and hopefully finish) the 365 Days project on Flickr.

For the past month I have seen both of these bloggers take a self-portrait and post it on their blogs each and every single day and it has been an awesomely eye-opening experience as the blog reader, to get a glimpse into the lives of the people behind some of my favorite blogs. It only took a month of me almost obsessively visiting these blogs just to see their new 365 self-portraits to want to join in on the fun, and so February 1st marks my official start with 365 Days. Woman Tribune has a brand new Flickr account (so be sure to connect with us over there,) and with this, I will also be blogging on a personal level once a day, which is something very new for me to be doing on Woman Tribune. As anyone who reads us regularly, personal anecdotes are weaved through a lot of the posts, but it is very rare for me to be uncensored and unapologetically open, so giving you all a more intimate, if you will, look at my day-to-day life is something that is actually very exciting for me to be dabbling with and I hope you all enjoy your daily look into my life.

For the first day of the 365 Days project, I wanted to share a little morsel of awesomeness I had become aware of a little over a month ago, and that is the new book from Babeland–Moregasm: Babeland’s Guide to Mind-Blowing Sex. This book is a sex advice, sex tips, how-to and self help book all rolled into one. It cuts through the traditional taboos society had already put in place for us a long, long time ago. It opens up discussions on sexual relationships when you’re trans, which is what I was first so giddily happy about when I had first opened it. Usually, when the topic of sex and sexuality comes up on a blog, we have a tendency to speak about sexual relationships as if they only happen between cisgendered beings, but what happens when someone just so happens to have been born with male genitalia but is truly a woman? This book opens up that discussion, which I loved. It of course features a great deal of sex toys, which is only natural for a book put out by a feminist-friendly sex toy shop whose ultimate goal is to sell more sex toys. It contains a multitude of sections on different sexual practices, lifestyles and bedroom play including, but not limited to, BDSM play and anal play. However, please remember that if you engage in any type of BDSM/bondage play, to do with a partner you know and trust and to have a safe word. It also covers practicing safe sex and how to be the safest you can possibly be when engaging in any type of sexual act, and a Q&A section that answers all of those pesky and sometimes embarrassing questions you may have about sex, like ‘Hey, what was that sound and is it supposed to come out of there?’ This book is definitely a must-read for any sexual being, regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or relationship status.

I went into a little more detail about Moregasm in a video review I recorded for my other blog, Menstrual Poetry, which deals with mostly feminist issues and activism. You can check out the video review of Moregasm below:

Thanks to Babeland for giving me the opportunity to review Moregasm.

Masturbation is a healthy part of every person’s life. Even as part of a relationship and while maintaining a healthy sex life, self-love still plays a healthy role in one’s life.

People start exploring their bodies at very young ages; from infant boys who every time you change a diaper, their hands are immediately exploring their penis and young girls who will mindlessly start exploring themselves whenever time permits. This is extremely healthy and positive behavior, but there are a great deal of people and organizations who beg to differ, going as far as to saying that any type of sexuality whatsoever, including masturbation, is unnatural, sinful, and just about anything else they can think of in order to scare people out of doing something that is natural and should be celebrated.

Jamye Waxman has a master’s degree in sex education and has written the book Getting Off, an entire guide to masturbation just for women–Or for men who want to know more about the body of a woman and pleasuring all of those sensual zones a woman has. Getting Off is an asset for every single woman, regardless of their knowledge of sexuality or their bodies. The book goes over several different topics, from the anatomy of an orgasm (the small, indifferent orgasm, the mediocre, satisfying-but-not-by-much orgasm, the can’t-get-enough, pass out afterward orgasm, and everything in between), fantasies, vibrators and other sex toys that can be used to heighten sexual pleasure while masturbating, how masturbation is viewed by mainstream media and the people who use the media as their only ground for knowledge, and so much more.

While reading through the different sections of the book, I was overjoyed to see a lot of the topics brought up that I didn’t expect to be brought up in such a refreshing light, such as the topic of anal sex and stimulation and how a great deal of women enjoy anal stimulation but feel too shy to explore the possibilities it can bring them sexually due to its social stigma as being referred to as strictly an exit. It also highlights a great deal of fun facts, such as the fact that graham crackers and Corn Flakes, food items that people eat to curb hunger, which in fact invented to curb masturbation, and the first vibrators were found in doctors’ offices to help cure women of “hysteria,” or what I deem as merely “sexual frustration” since the hysterical woman stereotype is still alive and going strong.

Getting Off is a resource that you will find yourself flipping through again and again, it is full of extremely positive and helpful information and completely obliterates the falsities that society and mainstream media have put in place for women, especially the “prudish woman” title or the belief that women cannot be sexual and sexually satisfying individuals.

One of the main reasons why I felt compelled to add a Love & Sex category to Woman Tribune is because I firmly believe that in order to maintain a long and healthy sex life with your partner, it is necessary to experiment with each other and one of the very best and most fulfilling ways to experiment is with sex toys. After years of having the same sexual partner, many people become almost immune to the touch of their partner. We come to know their thought patterns–How they are going to touch us, when they are going to touch us, and what is going to come next; it becomes almost robotic and you find yourself simply going through the motions of sex.

I believe that sex should be something that is enjoyed by all involved. It is not something you participate in to merely fill your “this is how many times normal couples have sex” quota; it is something to be enjoyed and is something you should be able to be completely open about; and that includes the right to experimentation.

Whether you have a sexual partner or you’re making love to yourself, good sex is something that can be achieved as long as you are completely open with your partner as well as with yourself. Introducing sex toys to your bedroom can turn your sex life from being a monotonous chore to steamy, can’t-get-enough sex. It isn’t just a myth that a good sex life can improve your mood as well as improve and even save your relationship or marriage. Some people I have spoken to do not necessarily agree with me when I tell them I believe that sex is a huge part of a healthy relationship, but I do honestly believe that; in my experience, a healthy sex life makes it much easier to have open lines of communication and an unshakable trust between the couple, both of which are proven to set the scene for a healthy and happy relationship.

By simply bringing an adult toy into your bedroom you are able to experiment and perhaps even be turned on to new things, which is exactly why adult toys are so popular. Even a simple vibrator can spice up your sex life more than you may think, especially a Rabbit Vibrator; one of the most popular and in-demand vibrators among women and once you see and feel it, you will immediately know how it has gotten such a great name for itself.

We bring up the topic of sex toys quite a bit. What toys are out there, what they do, how you can use them, how you can use them with your partner and so on. Now, when on the topic of sex toys, there is also this unspoken list of things to remember when operating light machinery and on that list is never, ever attach a sex toy to a saw blade.

You would think that would just be common knowledge, however, in Lexington Park, Maryland, a 27 year old woman was airlifted to Prince George’s County Hospital Center due to injuries caused by a sex toy attached to a saber saw blade.

The man who called 911 about the incident admitted attaching the sex toy to the saw and then using the high-powered, homemade device on his partner, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.

The saw cut through the sex toy and wounded the woman. While the wounds were severe enough for immediate, emergency attention, the woman is now said to be home and recovering from her injuries. The woman is also on the record saying that the sexual acts were consensual, and that she and her partner were trying something new and no crime was committed.

I am willing to bet this woman will never allow her partner to think up fun things to try with sex toys again.

If you have ever spoken in depth with or been in a relationship with a survivor of abuse and trauma, one thing that you will come to know is that a great deal of survivors have a problem with not relationships in general, but with love and intimacy.

A lot of survivors have a difficult time with closeness with another person and find themselves having to teach themselves boundaries and when any of us run into a little trouble and need help, there are shelves full of psychological insight, self help books, audio books, films and so on at our disposal. Healing Sex is a DVD that at first glance, you would think is just like the rest of the “self help” market, but once you watch it, it has the potential to really change your life and the way you look at intimacy.

Staci Haines has vast experience as a workshop leader and somatic practitioner and presents hands on exercises for you to practice either alone or with your partner for battling a lot of hurdles that survivors deal with when it comes to intimacy, such as disassociating during sex which I, as well as a great deal of survivors I speak with now have had problems with in our adult lives. Haines welcomes you into her workshops and one-on-one sessions and works with people to help them set boundaries in relationships and intimacy and teaches them how to express their desires, likes and dislikes. She gives us so much knowledge and draws upon her extensive experience to present educational and often triggering material in a comfortable and accessible way that will make you actually want to open up to your partner, now that you know how.

This DVD did wonders for me. I absolutely loved the way in which the material was presented and I especially loved that Haines doesn’t think, act or teach with the sense of false hope that she is a miracle worker. Healing from any kind of trauma takes a long time and a great deal of dedicated, hard work and the effects of childhood sexual assault have a tendency to follow survivors throughout their entire lives. This film shows you realistic ways to cope with your past and your present in terms of intimacy and overall relationships.

Giving a great blow job isn’t as hard as the hype surrounding it. Anyone can give a great blow job that will make it hard for your partner to think of much else for days after. Giving a bow job is a versatile sex act that can be done pretty much anywhere and all you need to know are some small, simple tricks…and a few toys to spice up the act never hurt anyone, either.

Be prepared with some sexy goods. Have the Blow Job Expert Kit ($49) on hand and you’ll find the edible gel, lickable oil, and accompanying vibrator will help transform you from a novice into an oral sex master. (Plus you save 25% when you purchase all the toys together!)

Study up. In addition to these blow job techniques, you’ll find great oral sex tips in the DVD Nina Hartley’s Guide to Better Fellatio, The Ultimate Guide to Fellatio ($14.95) book, and the Low Down on Going Down book.

Get comfortable. A blow job is much more fun without a sore neck. Find a position that works best for both of you, depending on where you are (you can’t really lounge comfortably in an elevator, you know) and the angle of the cock you’re dealing with (work with the natural downward angle of your throat). Kneel before your man with him standing if you’re in a confined area, or when you want to strike a pose that is really hot. Other positions: seat your partner and crouch between their legs (slide a pillow under your knees if you’re not on a soft surface), or lay down and let your partner thrust into your mouth, (harder to control the depth, but good for you lazy types). If you’re in a car, your partner can lay down lengthwise in the back.

If you’re using a condom, put it on now. Try a Trustex flavored condom (12 pack/$12) or Kiss O’ Mint condom (12 pack/$12) if you don’t like the taste of latex. A sexy way to set the scene is to use your mouth to put the condom on before you get busy.

Give us a kiss. If you’re dealing with a soft penis, you don’t have to wait until it’s hard to start the show. Put it in your mouth when it’s soft (or semi-hard) to get acquainted. Kiss it. Lick it. You can sweeten things up by applying an edible gel like <a rel="nofollow' href="http://store.babeland.com/sensual-edible/good-head-gel">Good Head Gel or Sliquid Green Apple ($14).

Mouth off. Slide your lips gently over your teeth for smooth sailing. Most fellatio recipients like lots of spit, but others prefer a drier job, so check in with your partner. Asking quick yes or no questions like “want it dryer?” or “more spit?” can be helpful and hot. Despite your amazing oral sex technique, you aren’t a mind-reader, so watch your partner for body language cues.

Experiment. You can do more wonderful stuff with your mouth than just suck (and remember–the harder you suck doesn’t necessarily mean the better it feels). Mix it up by licking the sensitive underside of the shaft, the nerve-ending-loaded head of the penis, and the testicles. Softly blow on the moistened areas. The combination of sensations will feel incredible.

Hands-on. Give your blow job a hand. Grip the cock around the base and slide it up and down, hand-job style, in tandem with your mouth. (Some folks like a tight squeeze, others may not, so check in.) This is great because you can cover a lot of the shaft this way without worrying about taking the whole cock in your mouth. You can concentrate on the super-sensitive head and suck as hard or softly as you and your partner like. Use lube for extra slipperiness. A silicone lube like Eros Bodyglide is great for blow jobs: it’s concentrated so you only need a tiny bit, it’s long-lasting so you won’t need to keep stopping to reload, and it doesn’t have a distracting taste or smell.

Deep throat. Deep-throating the act of taking the entire shaft into your mouth and throat can be cool, but you can give a perfectly stellar blow job without doing so. The key to deep throat is to relax your jaw and throat muscles as much as you can. Otherwise, you trigger the gag reflex.

Accessorize. Bring some toys into your routine. Experiment with cock rings, butt plugs, or mini vibrators (like the Finger Fun vibe) for some attention on the testicles and perineum. Hold a Pocket Rocket vibrator against your cheek to add vibrations to your mouth play. Or try sucking on ice or a breath mint ($5) to transmit a tingly sensation to your favorite penis. Again, check in with your partner to see how experimental you should be.

Get into it. Look at your partner and the ecstacy you have caused! Make eye contact. Show your partner how much you love being down there. Moan, make appreciative noises (a well-placed MMMM! can make for some nice vibration, too), let your partner know how turned on you are. Don’t neglect the rest of the body, either stroke, tickle, scratch the thighs, stomach, butt, and everywhere else you can reach.

Sucking Silicone. This applies to every cock: silicone, rubber, glass, vegetable and flesh alike. When you’re dealing with a dildo, treat it like your partner can feel everything you’re doing to it because they can. For more on this topic, see How to Suck Strap-on Cock.

Finish the Job. It is ultimately your choice whether or not to swallow. Your partner’s diet, health, habits and frequency of ejaculation will determine the quantity and taste of the ejaculate. The ejaculate of someone who ingests lots of red meat, caffeine, alcohol or cigarettes, may taste more intense than that of a non-smoking vegetarian. The most ejaculate you might encounter is a teaspoonful or so. You have several choices if you aren’t crazy about ejaculate, but don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings:

You can take it in your mouth and discreetly deposit into a nearby towel.

As your partner approaches climax, withdraw and finish with your hand.

You can let your partner come on your body and admire the copious amounts of ejaculate.

You can use a condom.

When you’re totally focused on giving head, it can be a lot of fun whether it’s for power play (your partner’s most precious asset is at your mercy), intimacy, or the pure fun of getting someone off. Remember, you should only be performing fellatio on somebody if you’re really into it and are able to focus all of your energy on what you’re doing. If you’re staring at the clock, waiting for it to end, or worrying about the laundry in the dryer, you won’t have a good time and your partner will be able to tell you’re not into it, which can be distracting, too. Think of it this way–Do you want your partner to be going down on you and keep looking at the clock every five minutes?

I can argue that perhaps my multiple orgasms are the equivalent to his one, but I wouldn’t know since I am not a man and admittedly have no idea what the male orgasm feels like. I do, however, know that having multiple orgasms is a gift that I would love for him to be able to share with me. While a huge percentage of men simply believe that having multiple orgasms is impossible, I have a secret to share with you that has the ability to rock your world; especially if you’re a man–All men have the ability to achieve multiple orgasms.

For the man who believes male multiple orgasms are impossible or for men who have heard about these mysterious male multiple orgasms and want to know more (ie: my partner) I couldn’t recommend The Prostate Pleasure Kit from Babeland more.

The Prostate Pleasure Kit contains everything your man (or you, if you’re reading this and happen to be a man) needs for complete prostate pleasure and achieve multiple orgasms: The classic sex guide The Multi-Orgasmic Man by Mantak Chia & Douglas Abrams, The Aneros Prostate Stimulator, Maximus lube, Babeland’s favorite anal lube in fact, and Rocket Balm, good (and safe) for a nice, tingly feeling during masturbation, oral sex and even intercourse.

If you’re thinking to yourself “Ha! My husband/boyfriend/manfriend/life partner would never let anything near his butt; it just isn’t happening and what, exactly, does prostate pleasure have to do with multiple orgasms?” I have to tell you, my partner was just as apprehensive! With the looming fear of pain as well as the fear of bodily functions, a man may think to himself at first “Nope, not happening. Ever. Get it all away from me.” But perhaps after reading through the book that comes with this kit, The Multi-Orgasmic Man, they may be even more curious about prostate pleasure and perhaps even get over the initial fear and anxiety that comes with something being near their prostate.

The Multi-Orgasmic Man is a complete guide of sexual secrets of every should know. This book gives every man the ability to experience multiple orgasms and dramatically enhance his sexual relationship, which they have printed on the cover of the book. Within the first few days of having this book, me and my partner read through parts of it together and it really brought us closer together in our relationship because I began to fully understand how everything works when it comes to men; most of which I wasn’t aware of before. If you’re not one to accompany your man while he reads through this book, there is a section specifically for women which helps women fully understand how the foreign male parts work and how to help your partner as well as yourself become a multi-orgasmic person. The book and prostate tools that come with this kit go together very well because throughout the book it speaks of the prostate, how to fully know yourself as a man inside and out and gives you methods to use in order to prolong orgasms by holding the prostate. By using the prostate toys that come with the kit, you become more aware of reaching the point of no return.

The partner’s thoughts:

The book is very well written and covers both sides of the techniques given in the book to achieve multiple orgasms; spirituality as well as logic and physiology. As a person who leans more towards the logical and scientific side of things, it was nice to have scientific facts back up Asian spirituality.

While my partner isn’t a multi-orgasmic man yet, the journey to multiple orgasms will be broken up into a series that will outline his progress and eventual success, so be sure to check back frequently because you never know when he will hit a milestone that will need to be reported to our readers, especially those who are men looking to achieve multiple orgasms.

When you think of sex shops, most often you’re probably thinking of shady-looking shops off the corner of a highway with a large “Do not come in here unless you are over 21 years of age” sign on the front of an entrance that looks more like a garage door. These shops are also the ones that have those creepy private booths in the back that most definitely cannot be too hygienic, given what men do in there. These are the sex stores that are targeted more towards men and of course, are the standard because only men like sex, right? Wrong!

The success of these types of shops can only be measured by the amount of competition surrounding them, which in most cases aren’t many, if any at all. If you live in a suburban neighborhood, you most likely have one sex toy store in your area or even one shop for several areas and of course, these are the “male-ego” shops; the shops with jizz rooms, blow up dolls and many, many videos all building up the fantasies that women enjoy sex with their twin sisters, having cum adorn every inch of their faces and several, several different men at the same time.

As a woman who lives in a town with no sex toy shops whatsoever and having to drive an hour to the nearest one, which of course is a disgusting-looking shop catered to men, I wondered, isn’t there a place out there that doesn’t objectify women? A place that celebrates the libido and doesn’t treat it like something dirty that women should be ashamed of, but for men, it’s the standard? I wanted a place that had the nerve to treat me as sexual being and as a woman without objectifying me.

Because of the status of the standard shops, I normally look online for any bedroom toys I may be interested in purchasing and because of that, I stumbled upon Babeland.

The title alone may lead men to think “Oh wow, hot sexy babes? I’m in!” and for women, it could make you think “Babeland! Woman land! My land!” which is what is what I first thought. Their website alone is very woman-oriented. It’s sleek, shiny, it doesn’t have ads or pictures of women dressed in bondage and being treated purely as sex objects so their man can have a good time. It’s straight forward, but has a womanly touch, which is to be expected since Babeland was founded by women for women with the motto Sex toys for a passionate world.

With their fifth store opening nation-wide in Brooklyn, New York, positioned in between a maternity store called Bump and an organic restaurant that sells an herbal formula to boost your libido, Babeland gave the press a deeper look into what Babeland is all about.

They are a woman-friendly store where strollers are welcome, there is a baby changing station in the restroom, kids are more than welcome, the founder being a mother herself, since the store is set up so nicely and so friendly that kids are welcome due to the inconspicuously detailed products. They also have events scheduled which include seminars for women on sexuality and body image, private workshops and parties. It does not get any better than Babeland.

Considering the amount of junk mail that one of my five email addresses receives in just one day, you can easily see the influence mass marketing has over men; and that is just one example. If you also take in the amount of late night infomercials and in the same respect that the media is always targeting women to look better and be skinnier, they are also targeting men to perform better making the generalization that.

Viagra, penis pumps, cock rings, penis weights, homemade penis enlargement devices, medications and so on. These are the options available to men who wish they had a little more in their pants and while some methods may work, you have to ask yourself–Are all of these devices really necessary?

Statistically, most men wish that they were carrying a little more and the only conclusion I can come up with is that the media really has a hold on them to the point where they feel inadequate and if they don’t feel confident in what they’re packing, there’s no way for them to feel fully confident in the bedroom.

There comes a time in every relationship when you have to sit down and have the sex talk–Just be sure that you’re not having it while having sex. For me, I go through a rundown of what I liked, what I wanted, what I didn’t want and etcetera right after I had sex; I figure it’s at a time when obviously both of our minds our on sex and of course as most women know, we get very chatty after an orgasm. One of the topics that may come up, if you have a particularly open and chatty guy, is his size.

You can tell immediately how a particular guy feels about himself just how he words statements pertaining to his package. By using the term average, you can tell that he may not be particularly satisfied with himself. By using the term well endowed, you’re sleeping with an intelligent man who first of all, knows what well endowed means. He may feel great about himself, so if he isn’t living up to your standards, it’s important to keep all talk about his size light and maybe choose to have this conversation over dinner or a nice dessert so he doesn’t get defensive about himself.

But what happens if you’re having the opposite problem? It doesn’t happen too often and funnily enough, not as often as some men would like to think, but occasionally you run into that special guy that just has too much to offer you. If you run into a case when you’re in bed and are suddenly greeted with the Bionic Man, what’s a woman to do?

Scream, run for your life! On a more realistic note, it is definitely something that needs to be talked about, especially since in some cases, a woman can feel intense pain while having sex.

The average woman’s vaginal canal is only 4 to 5 inches in length, maybe 6 inches, so when you’re going through your junk mail and see that advertisements for penis enlargement devices and medications targeted towards men are telling men that they could and should be 8, 9 or even 10 inches long, you know right away that a man that size not only couldn’t work, but if he tried to really go at it, it would be excruciating for the woman to go through.

While some men may feel empowered to be wielding around a penis the size of a sword, us women know that that simply is not what we go after and more importantly, it is important for men to know this because they are still being told that they aren’t big enough by every product and medication out there who are looking to lure men in to buying something from them.

- – - – - – - – - -

When I had thought up Woman Tribune with a friend of mine, I had many ideas on what I would write about, what I would cover and what I wouldn’t touch. As most people know, I run another website, a political feminist site where not only can I be uncensored, by now it’s pretty much expected of me. But what that site does not represent is just how pro-woman I am. While yes, I am a feminist and while yes, I do write about gender equality, equal pay, sexism and the objectifying of women, a lot of women who do their recreational reading online already had their dose of cynical and disheartening news along with their morning coffee. I did not want this site to be like that site.

So what I have done here thus far is try my best to offer recreational reading for the women who are sick and tired of hearing about politics; of hearing about women being objectified in the media and how women are still making a high percentage less than their male colleagues. While I stand firm on the fact that those are important issues, they by no means have to be involved in every part of your day; it’s okay to take a little break and indulge yourself in some frivolous and just plain upbeat entertainment.

While that covers why I chose to make this website a little more mainstream, I realized that I was missing a big category that all women talk about with each other and something that a lot of people won’t always publish on a website in fear of offending others. Sex and the City is a prime example that pure and honest sex talk is what people crave.

Well we’re stripping the fear away right now and here I am to introduce our brand new category–sex. In this category, we will be covering love, sex, relations, sex advice, sex toy reviews and much more!

If you have any ideas for posts or would like to see something here, let me know in the comments!
