Disclaimer: This post is adult in nature and therefore only intended for a mature audience.

Jimmyjane’s Form series has piqued the interest of most who have seen the first two vibrators released, mostly due to the fact that it is quite simple to look at a Jimmyjane Form vibrator and wonder what you are supposed to do with it. That is exactly what I did when I first received the Form 3 that I reviewed here back in December. I was recently given the opportunity to review the newest and final release in the Form series, which I was pretty thrilled about, the Form 4.

The first thing I noticed about the Form 4 is that while it visually fits into the Form series and looks pretty great when it is lined up against the other two vibrators, it is nothing like the previous releases. It is straightforward. It is simple. I knew exactly what to do with it when I first took it out of the box. This was such an incredibly different experience for me after reviewing the Form 3, which took a few days of giving myself the time and the patience to really play around with it, see what it was capable of doing and changing up how I was using it–every time I used it–to see what worked best for me. With the Form 4, I was able to take it out of the box, turn it on, and in about 15 minutes, I had achieved my first Form 4 orgasm.

The Form 4 is a firm vibrator made of medical-grade, platinum silicone. It is said that it is flexible, but really, it’s not. It isn’t so firm that it’s going to hurt you, of course, but it isn’t so very soft that it feels like nothing against you, or inside of you.

It measures at 5 inches in length, 4 inches of that being insertable. I am kind of torn when it comes to the Form 4 as an insertable vibrator. First of all, it is a great clitoral stimulator and four times out of five, that is what I use it for exclusively. I may dip it down against my vagina a few times, perhaps some very shallow inserting, but nothing more than that. When I used it as a plain insertable vibrator, it didn’t necessarily do too much for me and it most definitely did not stimulate nor press up against my g-spot, as Jimmyjane touts that it does. It did not. This is because I have an extremely high g-spot and also, I need a drastic curve in order to stimulate it to the point where it feels great for me. Anything short of that does not impressive my g-spot in the least.

There are quite a few similarities between the Form 4 and the other vibrators within the Form line. It is made of the same body-safe material with a small circle at the very bottom of the vibrator made of stainless steel that houses the high performance lithium ion battery, which is responsible for making the Form 4 run for up to seven hours per charge. Its controls are also the same and very, very easy to use.

You push the + button located on the bottom of the front-side of the vibrator to turn it on. It immediately starts vibrating at its lowest level of intensity and in the steady vibration mode. To increase the intensity, in which there are five levels, you press and hold the + button again and to decrease the intensity, you press the – button located directly underneath the main power button.

The Form 4 has four different vibration modes that include the very straightforward and steady vibration and also three modes of varying pulsations and escalation. To circle through the vibration modes, there is a small circular button below the plus and minus symbols that is just far enough away from the other two buttons that you feel the raised button so you won’t mistakenly turn the vibrator down when you mean to change the vibration mode. This, of course, does depend on the size of your fingers. If you have bigger fingers, you may mistakenly turn the vibrator down or off. I have teeny, tiny fingers so while I may not have a problem with it, some people might.

It seems as if all of the Form vibrators have their little motor intricacies and the Form 4 is no different. In this case, I apply a substantial amount of pressure against my clit with whatever vibrator I am using. I did this with the Form 4 and as soon as I applied this pressure, the motor got louder.

All of the Form vibrators come with the same white Jimmyjane base that also recharges the vibrator. With the Form 3, I had a very hard time keeping the vibrator on the base and jiggling it around to get the charge to catch on the vibrator. With the Form 4, it was so easy. I just put the vibrator on the base and it started charging immediately.

As I do with most everything because I am that person, I tweeted about working on my review of the Form 4 when a friend of mine responded asking me about the seam along the entire body of the vibrator. Yes, there is a seam. I’m glad we had a chance to talk a little bit about it on Twitter because honestly, it didn’t really register on my list of cons at first. You see, I am not susceptible to feeling subtle texture or in this case, seams. I did not feel it, it did not hinder my experience with using the vibrator, but she did make a very good point: The Form 4 has a price tag of $145. For $145, there should not be a seam along the entire vibrator. More care and consideration could and should have went into this aspect of the design.

Overall, the Form 4 pleased me on several levels. I love that I did not have to spend days dedicated to figuring out how it should work, and then how it does work for me. I enjoy using it as a clitoral stimulator and it is effective. It satisfies me when I want just a little bit of shallow vaginal penetration, since I do require a little more than 4 inches in my insertables, but it also gives an adequate and enjoyable labia massage, which is always welcomed when I want foreplay with my masturbation sessions.

The Form 4 is extremely easy to clean. After use, and in my case, before every use just because I’m like that, you just wipe the vibrator off with warm water, all natural soap or toy cleaner, dry it off with a soft towel and you’re good to go!

Thanks to Jimmyjane for the opportunity to review the Form 4!

From the Hitachi Magic Wand to the Mini Mistress Massager and the Wahl, if one thing is abundantly apparent, it is the fact that I really, really love my massager adult toys. I love all of that amazing clitoral stimulation that is delivered by variable speeds and intensities of vibration that make my toes curl in mere minutes.

About a month ago, my partner and I drove seven hours to Ohio on a business trip that involved my partner being put in a recording studio for upwards of eleven hours and leaving me in a hotel room to relax, unwind, and do nothing. I was very much looking forward to it. So after we got on the road it occurred to me that I packed no sex toys. Me, in a hotel room on my own for an entire day, with no sex toys. It was tragic, but then I realized that even if I had remembered to pack a few of my favorite toys, I wouldn’t have anywhere to put them since we were pretty much packed to the fullest extent we could be.

I wish I had the Fairy Pocket Mini USB massager then, but am extremely happy to have it in my possession now.

You see, the Fairy Pocket Mini USB is tiny. Super tiny. So tiny that it can fit inside the zip pocket of my purse along with my tampons kind of tiny. To put it into actual measurements for you, it is 5 3/4 inches in total length and just 1 inch in diameter. It also weighs practically nothing at just 2.4 ounces, making it even easier to use and handle through even lengthy sessions without your arm cramping up or going numb from having to hold it in place; Hitachi Magic Wand, anyone?

The head of this massager is made very much the same as most other massagers on the market. It is a soft silicone that is smooth and contains several ribbed lines along the bottom of the head that are there purely for aesthetic purposes. The head is also very flexible and pivots along your body effortlessly. The body of the massager is made of hard plastic and features pink detailing along the front. The MyPleasure logo is printed on the back of this massager, which is a really cute touch, although for some reason it is printed in orange instead of the light pink seen on the rest of this toy. Honestly, this really doesn’t matter and I think it’s more of my OCD getting the best of me for wanting everything to be consistent and uniform-like.

What’s really cool about the Fairy Pocket Mini USB is the fact that it is rechargeable and, you guessed it!, only by USB. I have another massager that charges via USB, although it also came with a wall-charger that I have always opted to use instead. The Fairy Pocket Mini USB arrived fully charged, but with just the third time I used it, it suddenly puttered to a full stop. After a full recharge via USB, which can be plugged in on the side of the massager and then into your computer, it again came to a full stop after only two more uses.

I didn’t time myself for each use to determine just how long it actually stays charged, although I think I should have because I doubt it keeps a charge for as long as the product description claims. According to the description, 90 minutes of charging gives you up to 70 minutes of use. Perhaps it clocks in lower if you use it on its highest setting all the time, which I do. That would make more sense to me.

While the Fairy Pocket Mini USB is charging, the lower-half of the massager lights up blue. This lets you know that it is indeed charging. When it is finished, the blue light shuts off.

There are two different levels of intensity with this massager. To turn it on, you just move the plastic switch in the center of the toy upwards which will start the vibration at its low setting. Slide the switch up once more and the intensity of the vibrations increase substantially. For something so, incredibly tiny, the intensity of the vibrations from this massager are pretty outstanding. The amount of power this super small thing has is something I definitely was not expecting.

Another thing I was not expecting–the intensity of my orgasms with this tiny, tiny massager. Seriously. I’m really surprised by how well it can get me off, even if it at times it does take a little longer than it does with some of my other toys, like the Wahl, for example.

I am rather surprisingly impressed by the Fairy Pocket Mini USB. I didn’t think it would possess the power that it does, although I do wish that it could hold a charge longer so I wouldn’t take it out and in mere minutes have it completely stop on me. That would certainly make it better and a lot less frustrating.

Thanks to MyPleasure for the opportunity to review the Fairy Pocket Mini USB.

This giveaway is now closed.

G-spot stimulation! If there is one thing I cannot ever get enough of, it is g-spot stimulation and sex toys that have been created to deliver it effortlessly. The Tango Dancer vibrator was crafted to do just that, and naturally is described as a g-spot vibrator. I quickly found out, however, that it lacks substantially in its intended purpose, but also makes up for it in another area.

Once the Tango Dancer arrived from the super fabulous people at MyPleasure, it immediately set itself apart from most other sex toys I own merely because of its visual appearance. In fact, it has come to be known around these parts as the blue electric toothbrush, given how long it is, measuring at 9 inches in total length, and tapers off at the tip creating a small bulb that measures at just 5/8 of an inch.

The Tango Dancer’s base and handle, which makes up most of the toy, obviously, is made of hard plastic and contains two grips at either end made of TPR, which is also what the firm, yet pliable, tip is made of. The TPR material feels soft and mildly-velvety to the touch, yet has enough drag to it that you can tell it’s there.

On the very bottom of the base, there is a small plastic loop that holds a piece of black string that dangles a small white heart off of it. It’s cute, but unnecessary considering it has no function besides being cute and adding a little bit of girly to this very blue vibrator. I guess it just didn’t scream “girly!” enough without it.

Because the Tango Dancer is made of TPR, it’s completely safe to use any kind of lubricant you like the best with it, whether it’s water-based or silicone-based. It is also completely waterproof, which makes having the freedom of lube even better, since water-based lube does not hold up as well as silicone-based when under water.

When it comes to g-spot stimulation, I personally like for my toys to be on the girthy side. Obviously, the Tango Dancer is not. I knew that going in and was still quite interested in it for all that pinpoint g-spotting goodness. The tip of this vibrator has an ergonomic curve that is just drastic enough to efficiently reach my g-spot and probe it with a good amount of pressure that is made possible by the firmness of the tip. It does all of this very well. It works. It just isn’t enough for me and my body craves more. I have not been able to use just the Tango Dancer and be completely fulfilled by it.

Instead of using it purely as a g-spot vibrator, the Tango Dancer has a supporting role in my sex life. I am most satisfied by it when used as a clitoral stimulator, and when paired with the Candy Stick vibrator from Papaya Toys, you have an amazing recipe for one intense orgasm.

The reason why the Tango Dancer is such an amazing clitoral stimulator is because it has 10 different functions of vibration, pulsation and escalation, which gives the user a variety of powerful stimulations. It also has a memory chip that remembers what setting you were on when you stopped using the Tango Dancer last, and picks right up where you left off when you start it up again. This is a very versatile vibrator with settings that will satisfy those who require very little intensity and even those who require a lot more, like myself. That is one, great big reason why the Tango Dancer impressed me, because it takes two AAA batteries, which are inserted by removing the very bottom of the plastic base, which removes a battery compartment. AAA batteries usually result in vibrations with such low intensity that they do next to nothing for me. This was not the case with the Tango Dancer.

I was first introduced to and became interested in the Natural Contours BonBon when I saw a video review of it from Dr. Ruthie, who is fabulous. It was pretty odd, but extremely delightful timing when just a few days after seeing that video review, it was offered up for review from Good Vibrations. Lucky me!

The Natural Contours BonBon vibrator arrived in a small, plain white box that fits the toy inside perfectly. The white box is sheathed by a slightly-textured plastic that, after you remove the small piece of tape from the bottom that keeps it attached to the white box during shipping and such, slides right off to reveal the vibrator as well as a small satin pouch and two AAA batteries that come with it inside. Printed on the front of the plastic is the Natural Contours logo and name of the toy. On either side is a side-view of the vibrator and on the back are some bullet point facts about what the BonBon can do.

The Natural Contours BonBon itself is a very small and really cute ergonomically-shaped vibrator made completely of hard plastic. One of the immediate issues I thought I would have with it was the ergonomic shape that Natural Contours insists will fit every body perfectly. Yeahhh, right! I thought. This vibrator is meant to depict a small chocolate truffle, with its small shape that measures at 2 inches in width and 2 3/4 inches long and chocolate brown coloring. From the center of the vibrator to the tip, it is curved in order to be placed against your pubic mound with the distinct point at the tip meeting your clitoris. Everyone’s body is different in shape and size, so a sex toy manufacturer’s insistence that one toy will perfectly fit everyone has a tendency to boggle my mind just a bit, especially since I am a plus-size woman myself, so something ergonomically shaped is not going to fit someone who is a size 6 the same way it will fit me, who is a size 16. But the BonBon does, in fact, lie against my pubic mound and its tip is very much able to reach my clit. This is a good thing. Maybe Natural Contours wasn’t lying after all. I am fairly confident in saying that while it is able to be used the way it was in fact meant to be used, that it isn’t going to fit every body in exactly the same way; but it does work.

Of course, because I’m, well, me, I do not enjoy using the Natural Contours BonBon in the way it was “meant” to be used. Instead of having it lie against me and sorta-kinda feel the tip vibrate against my clit (in three different speeds and a bonus pulsation vibration!) I much prefer holding the BonBon with my fingers just below the curve, and moving it along my inner labia and against my clit. This works much better for me. I did find it much more comfortable when using a little dab of water-based lube just because the BonBon is made of such a hard plastic that can feel uncomfortable against you without some added moisture. I use water-based lube with everything because I prefer it over other types of lube, but you can use whichever you prefer, be it water-based, silicone-based, or what have you.

In order to cue the vibrations within this toy, which I briefly mentioned above, you will need two AAA batteries. Lucky for you, the BonBon comes with batteries so you don’t have to scour your house for batteries or run out to the store to get them before experimenting with this vibrator. To get them in the vibrator is a little tricky at first. On the bottom of the right side of the toy, you will notice a little piece of removable plastic with a finger grip on it. Just slide the plastic off of the toy and insert the batteries. What’s tricky about this is that the little piece of plastic is relatively hard to get off the toy the first few times you change the batteries, but it loosens up after a little while and gets easier. Slide the plastic piece back on and press the single button on the front of the toy and the vibrations will begin at the highest and most intense setting. This is the vibration setting that I personally enjoy the most, but you can also cycle through the vibrations by pressing the button again and it will cycle through the second-highest intensity setting, the low intensity, and lastly, the pulsation vibration which can also be a lot of fun if you’re using the BonBon for foreplay and don’t necessarily want to get off using it.

When I had first felt the highest vibration setting on my hand, before actually using this toy against my clit, I was impressed with the intensity of the vibration. I thought it was wonderful, especially for being powered by two AAA batteries. My clit, however, was not as impressed and the BonBon has never been able to get me off while using it alone. I have consistently found myself needing more in terms of intensity or added stimulation. This leads me to believe that if you need something with a little more oomph to get you off, you probably won’t enjoy the BonBon as much as someone who needs very little intensity to get them off. On the other hand, if you’re looking for something to use against your clit during partner sex, this could very well be used for that and because of the added stimulation, it could be something really fun to add to the mix. Other than that, my clit remains stubbornly unimpressed.

When I first saw the Silicone Rose Vibe, I thought it was nothing more than a cute novelty item. Reviews I had seen of this vibrator, combined with the fact that it was made by Evolved, the same manufacturer who put out the Serenity vibrator that I really loved for quite some time, until other, better, rabbit-style vibrators came into my possession, persuaded me to take a chance. Not to mention, it’s pretty perfect for Valentine’s Day and this rose won’t die in a few days.

The Silicone Rose Vibe is pretty straightforward in its appearance; the only insertable portion is the silicone red rosebud that tops the long, green stem and white plastic base. The entire vibrator is 11 inches in total length and at its widest point, where the rosebud tapers off towards the stem, measures at about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The green stem, also made of silicone, is very flexible and able to bend–and keep–whatever shape you twist it into. The white base is an elongated, tapered, bulb-like shape featuring ridges around its entirety. To place the two AAA batteries inside, you just twist the bottom of the base and it pops right off; place the batteries inside, twist the bottom of the base back on and you’re good to go. When fastened on correctly, the base is shut completely without room for water or lube to seep inside, making the Silicone Rose Vibe totally waterproof.

Insertable options aren’t really the focus in which this vibrator was made; instead, it is meant to be pressed against the clit, labia, perineum, or balls, and release vibrations that span three different speeds–low, medium and high–and seven different vibration patterns. Due to the flexibility of the stem, this vibrator is supposed to be perfect for reaching between bodies and otherwise hard-to-reach areas during foreplay or sex with a partner. What I found most appealing about this toy was, of course, the non-advertised method of using it. For several minutes I was completely fascinated with the sort-of weird, just plain different (and not in a bad way) feeling the rosebud bulb felt when inserted. While it has slight textured detailing that makes up the “petals” of the rose that has yet to bloom, I couldn’t feel them when inserting or pressing it against my body. This toy obviously does not lend itself to be thrusted, but just the feeling of inserting and withdrawing the bulb was appealing; at least for a little while.

The intensity of the vibrations doled out by the Silicone Rose Vibe are, well, what you would expect from two AAA batteries. The lowest setting is downright laughable in its meager attempts to qualify as a vibration, the medium setting isn’t much better and the highest level of intensity is about what you come to expect from a very small bullet vibe, maybe. The vibrations are most intense within the rosebud, as that is where the motor is located; the vibrations do, however, spread down throughout the base, but just barely. Needless to say, pressing the rosebud against my clit and labia did very, very little, and for the prospect of sex with a partner, it mostly just gets in the way.

I would not say that the Silicone Rose Vibe is purely a novelty item; it ranks just a wee bit higher than that, and it ranks even higher if you’re one to enjoy subtle vibrations and mostly external stimulation. It does make a gift that isn’t as cliche as a bouquet of real flowers that wilt, drop petals everywhere and die, and its packaging already suggests that this toy be given as a gift, as it arrives with a small tag fastened on the top of the plastic packaging that when flipped over, tells you a little more about the toy.

Disclaimer: This is a review of a sex toy accessory. It is adult in nature and therefore only intended for a mature audience.

I have had my Hitachi Magic Wand since January 2009. It has been through a lot through the years. A lot of uses. A lot of banging around from a box to a bigger box to an even bigger box to an even bigger plastic Rubbermaid container where my collection of sex toys still resides–until the collection outgrows just one container and I’ll incorporate a second. I think ahead! If you have a Hitachi, you’ll notice one thing about them after you’ve had it for about a year or more–its head begins to discolor. What was once a completely white vinyl/plastic head has suddenly taken on more of a beige color; and this happens regardless of how well you clean the head after every single use, I assure you. After quite a number of years, or depending on how rough your Hitachi’s world is, the head can even crack, which can be devastating, at least until you discover that you can get other head attachments for it.

Fascinations recently sent me one Hitachi Magic Wand Attachment to review–the Off With Your Head, a replacement attachment made of 100% silicone rubber, hand-crafted and manufactured by Vixen Creations.

The Off With Your Head arrived packaged in a really unique cylinder-shaped container that is completely see-through with the exception of the base and top, which are red. It’s a cute little container that is completely reusable and can be used to store either the Off With Your Head attachment when you’re not using it or the original Hitachi head when you pop it off and replace it with the attachment.

Printed on the back of the cylinder container is everything you need to know about what the attachment is made of and how to clean it and inside contains just one piece of red paper with a small diagram of how to pop off the original Hitachi Magic Wand head so you can use the attachment. The only words on this piece of paper are “Gently grasp the rim of the Hitachi head with your fingers and pull back in a rotating motion.” Simple and to the point, yes? You would think so until you realize that the word gently should not be used in any reference to how to get that original Hitachi head to pop off. There is nothing gentle about this process. I read this sentence about 40 times throughout the process of getting the head of my Hitachi to unhinge itself from the wand; you know, just to make sure I had read it correctly and was, in fact, doing it correctly. I was. I’m pretty good with following simple instructions most of the time, the problem was not me. I placed my fingers at the rim of the Hitachi, attempting to gently pull it off the wand. The word gently quickly went flying out of the window as I attempted to use my thighs to keep the wand in place while I downright lifted the original head up, rotating it every so often to see if that would magically get it to separate itself. After that I used the arches of my feet to keep the wand in place. Then one hand while my other tried to lift the head up. I went through this process probably about 10 to 15 times until eventually it budged and off came the original head, along with padding that was secured underneath it which I later discovered is pretty necessary to keep the Hitachi Magic Wand’s sound waves under jackhammer capacity. I must tell you, in all honesty, I did break a sweat during this process; something I was pretty amazed at having done since this was supposed to be oh so very, very easy.

Getting the Off With Your Head attachment on the Hitachi Magic Wand was very simple. Not by comparison to getting the original head off, but just simple. If you don’t have that aforementioned padding secured under the attachment, that is, and at first, I didn’t.

In as little time as it took for me to remove the Off With Your Head attachment from its packaging, put it on the Hitachi Magic Wand, plug in the wand and set up myself and my surroundings to use it, the entire attachment was covered in cat hair, fibers, lint and other such junk. My house is not horribly unkempt, mind you, but this thing picks up everything. It has special hair-catching abilities and I’m pretty sure just bringing it into a room makes hair and lint draw to it from all four corners of any given room. Magical, I tell you. Of course after giving it a thorough washing, using just hot water and all-natural, all-purpose soap and keeping it away from any surface either of my cats had previously been around, I turned the Hitachi Magic Wand on with its new head attached. My first reaction was complete and utter surprise as the noise level of the Hitachi went up significantly with the new head. Low and behold that padding is used for more than keeping the head secured onto the top of the wand. After getting used to the noise level and able to really use it, I started to play around with not just the new feeling of silicone rubber, but also the raised ridges that are incorporated into both sides of the head.

The first are three vertical ridges that are meant to be used for vulva stimulation. Due to the material used to make this attachment, and not being too fond of the amount of drag that some toys naturally have to them, never mind the feeling of rubber against my vulva, I found this a whole lot more enjoyable when used with ample amounts of water-based lube. On the opposite side of the head is a single raised ridge that is meant for clitoral stimulation. The reason for this, I can only assume, is because the Hitachi does not give you pinpoint vibrations; something that, when you have it, is absolutely amazing. That in itself is why so many people report their undying love for the Wahl; some even more-so than the Hitachi.

A lot of people really love the Off With Your Head attachment. Like, really. Enthusiastic reports of love going on. I really wish I knew what these people were doing to make it work so well for them because I want to experience it! Sadly I have not.

As I mentioned earlier, when I got the Off With Your Head situated on my Hitachi Magic Wand and began to use it, I really didn’t enjoy the dragging feeling of the three rubber ridges against my skin. When I applied water-based lube to the head and then used it, it was a lot more comfortable but I think that, combined with the severely intense vibrations of the Hitachi kind of rendered the ridges useless. The same happened with the one raised ridge meant specifically for clitoral stimulation. The thing about the Hitachi Magic Wand is that it covers a lot of surface area. It doesn’t dole out pinpoint vibrations and although this attachment head does its best to transform the Hitachi into a pinpoint-vibration-giving massager, it just doesn’t.

When it comes to changing the heads of the Hitachi Magic Wand, I think I’m in need of an extra set of hands that are much stronger than mine. My Hitachi has not been the same since I popped its original head off and when I went to put it back on, well, that was a hell of an ordeal and still, I can’t get it so that it fits over that inside padding again. It has been an impossible task for me.

I imagine I would be far more upset about my inability to return my Hitachi to normal if I used my Hitachi as much as I used to; if this were to happen maybe a year or more ago, then yeah, I’d be pretty devastated about the unfolding of events. So, I can offer only this advice, if you venture into the world of replacement attachment heads for your Hitachi Magic Wand, be very sure of what you’re doing and hope you possess the skills to be able to return it to its previous state.

Disclaimer: This is a review of a sex toy. It is adult in nature and therefore only intended for a mature audience.

G-spot sex toys and I get along really great sometimes. Other times I find myself shaking toys in frustration, wondering if I’m doing it wrong or its just a horrible creation, or just laughing at its sad, sad attempts to get me off.

I’m like the freakin’ Goldilocks of g-spot toys. I need toys that, firstly, are long enough to reach my slightly-higher-than-”normal” g-spot, but not so long that it feels as if it is trying to find out what the inside of my stomach feels like. Secondly, material! The material a sex toy is made from is always important; of course porous materials like jelly should either be used with caution or avoided, but because I really love pressure on my g-spot, a soft but firm material is always preferred.

MyPleasure gave me the opportunity to try out the Beyond 1 g-spot vibrator.

It arrived, in standard Ophoria fashion, in a beautiful narrow white box with the Ophoria name on the front and sides, as well as the name of the toy. Toys made by Ophoria are not only high quality in themselves, but every part of the experience they provide, including the packaging, has a lot of obvious, serious thought put into it. What differs about the packaging of the Beyond 1, however, is that as soon as you open the white box and take out the inside pink box where the Beyond 1 is held inside, in black fitted padding, you immediately notice a distinct smell that verges on chemical-y. I am not the only one whose product came bearing this stench and MyPleasure sent me an email a few days ago saying that they in fact mentioned the smell to Ophoria who are planning on new packaging in the near future. Hooray!

After I thoroughly and repeatedly washed the Beyond 1 with a mild and all-natural all-purpose soap, choosing a soap that contained no harsh chemicals that could ruin the toy, but also smelled a whole lot better than the packaging, I put it to some very good use.

The Beyond 1 is very unique and so obviously created for the purpose of mastering g-spot stimulation with minimal effort. It is about 7 1/2 inches in total length, 6 inches of that is insertable, and its shaft has a drastic curve for pinpoint g-spot stimulation. The head of the Beyond 1 is rounded and firm enough to apply ample pressure against the g-spot, but since it is made of high-grade, body-safe silicone, it is also very pliable and flexible and velvety to the touch, which makes it incredibly comfortable in-use without the feeling that it could puncture your stomach. It is also 1 1/2 inches in diameter at its widest point, which gives you a surprisingly nice sense of fullness, which is awesome.

Along the shaft, running along the inside of the curve, are three distinct ridges. Honestly, at first I thought nothing of these ridges. I couldn’t feel them at first and could take them or leave them. That is until I used it a few more times and on one occasion, in particular, I used it until I was extremely sensitive and ran the ridges against my clit. Hallelujah! We found a use for the ridges! These ridges are normally meant for extra arousal and pleasurable sensations upon insertion and removal, but they were only very apparent when I was already very aroused and sensitive.

The Beyond 1 takes two AAA batteries and the vibrations are, well, what you’d expect from two AAA batteries. With its three speeds, the only speed I can recommend doing much of anything is the highest. The lowest and middle speeds are kind of laughable in terms of intensity, but would work for someone who needs very, very little intensity to get them going. In addition to the three speeds, the Beyond 1 also has six escalation and pulsation patterns, perfect if you’re one to take time with yourself, starting with the slowest settings and working your way through them to the highest. The batteries are very easily inserted by twisting off the very bottom of the base, right below the silver lining, and then twisting back on. The power button of the Beyond 1 is located on the cap; not on the very bottom, but sort of verging off to the side. Press it once to turn it on and it starts on the lowest setting. Press it again for the second-to-lowest vibration, and again for the highest vibration. Press it again to cycle through the vibration modes and to turn it off, just hold the button in for a few seconds.

I highly enjoyed the Beyond 1. It’s a great size, it has a perfect curve, and I really cannot tell you how much I enjoy the rounded head; it is amazing and it makes for lots of phenomenal squirting. It also doesn’t absorb (water-based) lube, like some toys can. It gets very slick with just a small amount of lube squirted onto the tip of your fingers and it lasts.

One problem I do have with the Beyond 1 is that while the handle-area is about 1 1/2 inches long, it isn’t long enough and if you use a generous amount of lube with it, it can get a little messy with lube seeping down to your fingers that are wrapped around the handle and then you keep losing your grip. This can get a bit frustrating, to say the least.

The Beyond 1 is on sale at MyPleasure for $69.95 and also includes a manual and 1-year warranty.

Thanks to MyPleasure for the opportunity to review the Beyond 1. The Lelo Ina is my new favorite sex toy, or, as its packaging defines it, “pleasure object.” While Lelo has quite a vast number of toys and accessories to their name, I hadn’t lusted after one nearly as much as I shamelessly coveted the Ina. When I was first made aware of the Ina I wasn’t particularly interested in it; while it looks awesome, I didn’t absolutely, positively, need it until I had a conversation with a friend of mine who had complained about the amount of pressure the clitoral stimulator put on her clit. This may sound weird to some, but I know I am not alone in this; one thing that makes me fall in complete love with a toy are intense, out of this world vibrations and pressure. As far as I’m concerned, the more pressure I have against my clit the better, short of penetrating my skin. Simply put, the Ina sounded amazingly attractive to me after that conversation and later, Daily Sex Toys presented me with the opportunity to review it for myself. They are pretty awesome.

The Ina arrived in a color-specific Lelo box; whatever color the Ina inside is, that’s the color the Lelo box is. Inside is a hard black cardboard box; when opened, the Ina is placed inside a cardboard product display with the toy surrounded by plastic. I absolutely despised this plastic insert. I couldn’t get the toy out of it and wound up ripping the cardboard in order to get it out. Also inside the box is a black satin pouch for safekeeping, a charger, a ten year quality guarantee, and a small book of information about the Ina and how to care for it.

I own a few dual action, or rabbit-style vibrators, but the Ina feels completely different than any of the others in my stash. The Ina is made of white hard plastic, while the insertable portion and the attached clitoral stimulator are coated in a colored silicone; mine is bright lime green and it is also available in orange and purple. This toy is incredibly firm with a thoroughly unforgiving curved shaft; seriously, this thing does not budge; it is completely solid and curved enough to hit my g-spot splendidly. The clitoral attachment is just as solid, however, the bottom portion from where it is attached to the shaft is flexible so it can move away from the shaft in order to meet your anatomy. Well, some people’s anatomy anyway.

The biggest criticism of the Ina is the clitoral stimulator and the amount of pressure it puts against your clit and in turn, it’s inflexibility. This proved to be very much true the first two or three times I used it. The very first time I had the tip of the shaft inserted before the clitoral stimulator started prodding at me, making me have to attempt to lift it up and onto me. After the first few times, though, it seems that the base of the clitoral stimulator has become more flexible and easier to work with my vulva while also providing about the same amount of pressure to my clit and its surrounding area, which I love so much.

The Ina has two separate motors; one in the shaft and another in the clitoral stimulator so the vibrations and pulsations never lose intensity in spite of the other. There are eight different modes in the Ina: constant shaft and clitoral stimulation, constant shaft stimulation only, constant clitoral stimulation only, rapid pulses that alternate between the motors, synchronized rapid pulses in the shaft and clitoral stimulator, slow shaft stimulation with quick pulsations in the clitoral stimulator, slow stimulation in the shaft and then clitoral stimulator, and random patterns of pulses and vibrations in the shaft and clitoral stimulator that do, after a short period of time, cycle back. You can trigger the power of the toy as well as the vibrations through the four small buttons on the front of the base. To turn it on, press the + button once and it immediately starts up at the lowest vibration setting in the shaft and clitoral stimulaltor. To increase and decrease the intensity of the vibrations, press the + and – buttons to your liking. To change the vibration and pulsation modes, just press the other two arrows up and down until you find the mode you like the most.

The shaft of the Ina isn’t big as much as its curve makes it difficult to thrust, even if you use a generous amount of (water-based) lube. While you can move it a bit, there is really no way to move it rapidly without it getting kind of stuck on its way out. I have learned that with the Ina, I like being able to push it up against my g-spot, which also provides a good amount of pressure with how solid it is, without needing to thrust it rapidly.

The Lelo Ina is rechargeable, so you won’t have to waste an obscene amount of batteries. On the bottom of the base of the vibrator, there is a small plastic plug that you can easily remove. Plug the charger into the vibrator and then into the wall. It charges for two hours and works for about four hours a charge.

Due to the level of resounding criticism of this toy, specifically its clitoral stimulator, let me be pretty blunt. This toy is not universal and while I have nothing but good things to say about its function and believe I have given you all adequate background on my personal preferences when it comes to toys, this is not going to work for everyone. No toy does, regardless of who made it, how high quality it is, or what its price tag may be; and at $131 (from Daily Sex Toys, which is the cheapest I have seen it sold for), it could be considered a risky toy purchase. The reviews I have read of the Ina are completely divided; when it works for someone and their anatomy, they absolutely love it and when it doesn’t work for someone, they (understandably) loathe it. This is not a vibrator that sits solidly in the middle with practically anyone I have heard from.

Thanks to Daily Sex Toys for the opportunity to review the Lelo Ina.

The sex toy world could be considered an overcrowded one. With so many different companies putting their own twist on classic toys we’ve seen hundreds of times before while hoping they’re unique enough to garner attention, companies who are thinking outside of the box and coming up with different ways to deliver pleasure to the people who use them does not go unnoticed. When a company unveils a toy, or line of toys, that can’t be discussed without the word “innovative” being dropped, along with successfully building a name for themselves that echoes safety and trust, and when there are a lot of people talking about them, they’re pretty solidified as a company to be reckoned with. Jimmyjane has done all of these things.

Jimmyjane has been around since 2004 and in that time, they have come out with toys that, by appearance alone, boggle your mind. While they have put their own twist on classic toys, such as the standard vibrator, bullet vibrator, pocket rocket, rabbit vibrator, and cock ring, they are presented under the name The Usual Suspects, a name that tells us Jimmyjane is aware we’ve seen variations of these toys just about everywhere, but they have become so classic that it seems almost wrong for any company or store to not stock these toys. However, it is Jimmyjane’s Form series that has really raised eyebrows and successfully attracted a dedicated fan base.

While I can’t speak one way or the other about the first two toys released within the Form line, the Form 6 and the Form 2, Jimmyjane was generous enough to send me their latest vibrator, the Form 3, for review.

The Form 3 is an incredibly weird vibrator. In shape, as well as in function, it is a bit odd on every mark. That isn’t to say it’s bad, because it isn’t by any means. The Form 3 and I have bonded from the very first day I received it–packaged in a cardboard box with pictures of the vibrator on all four sides, along with a breakdown of its featured and how it works–and we have formed a rather nice bond; a self-pleasure-serving relationship that has and continues to be extremely enjoyable. With that being said, let’s start with the basics.

The Form 3 is a four-inch, oblong-like-shaped external vibrator. As with other Jimmyjane products, it is completely body-safe, made of medical-grade, phthalate-free platinum silicone that is incredibly soft to the touch. The bottom portion of the Form 3 is solid, packed internally with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery, while the top portion is a thin, membrane-like portion of flexible, bendable silicone surrounded by a thick wall of the same material that feels most like cartilage. The intended use of the Form 3 is to amplify touch, allowing you to place your index finger against the thin, membrane-like portion of silicone, which you can feel poking through the other side of the vibrator, to direct powerful vibrations to your clitoris or labia with pinpoint accuracy. In execution, however, the intended use of this vibrator doesn’t work very well for me, although I have found other ways to use this toy that work quite well.

By holding the Form 3 in the palm of your hand and pressing your index finger against the thin membrane of silicone, you are supposed to create an amplified touch. As Jimmyjane puts it, it’s supposed to feel as if your fingers have super powers. Doing this, my finger just got a cramp. I never would have thought that just by pressing my finger against a thin layer of silicone would feel so taxing, but it does; it begins to hurt and cramp my finger as well as my wrist. Also, reaching down between my legs while holding this vibrator at the angle needed in order to pull off this “finger with super powers” feeling isn’t so comfortable. Also, it seems as if everyone who has ever written or talked about the Form 3 is in agreement that it resembles a large, disembodied tongue. While I can’t say that it doesn’t resemble this body part, because it does, this thought has led me to think of the Form 3 in conjunction with thinking about mutant, larger-than-life, killer tongues. Not a thought you want when you’re looking to masturbate, but it is very much in line with other Form products; the Form 2, for instance, resembles a mutant-sized tooth. So while the Form 2 resembles a tooth, the Form 3 resembles a tongue, but the comparisons to the tongue stop dead there. In action, the Form 3 does not feel like a tongue. It does not even come close to resembling the sensation of oral sex, which it has been compared to on numerous occasions. In actuality, the Form 3 feels like a vibrator. It feels like very soft silicone, even when lubed up (with water-based lube only), and I don’t know why companies feel the need to tout the message that their products feel like oral sex because I think, as a sex toy-educated populace, we know by now that none of the toys that are said to mimic oral sex actually live up to the hype. Also, for a vibrator to feel like a vibrator isn’t such a bad thing after all.

Still, in all the ways the Form 3 fails in-practice, I have found it to be extremely enjoyable when not trying to shove my finger through the thin silicone, or by flexing the tip of the vibrator by pushing against the cartilage-like fold. Funny enough, the Form 3 works like a charm when used in an extremely basic way. Merely holding the tip of the vibrator against my clitoris and tracing around it as well as up and down my inner labia is amazing. No finger-flexing action needed. In the first day I had the Form 3, I used it four times. Yes, four different times in one day, and each time, I always resorted back to using the thick edge of the tip of the vibrator, as well as placing pressure against my clitoris, making the tip bend and making for a thicker vibrating surface.

Speaking of vibrating. The vibrations of the Form 3 are powerful; they aren’t earth-shattering or overly-impressive, but deliver about enough intensity as a vibrator working off of two AA batteries would. The controls of the Form 3 are incredibly easy to use. To turn the vibrator on, just push the + button on the bottom portion of the vibrator once. It turns on immediately with a steady vibration on low. To make the vibrations more intense, continue pressing the + symbol and to decrease the intensity, push the – symbol. There are five power levels and four vibration modes which can be changed by pressing the small, circular-button below the up and down settings pad.

The Form 3 is also rechargeable, meaning no batteries go to waste once they have died in your vibrator. The Form 3 comes with a white Jimmyjane base. Just plug the base into the wall and place the Form 3 onto the base. You may have to either press the vibrator down a little or move it around a bit until the toy registers in the base; when it does, a small light appears on the Form 3 to let you know it’s charging. When the battery is completely drained, it will charge for about two hours and it will run for about seven hours per every charge.

Since the Form 3 is the first Jimmyjane toy I have ever had the chance to try out, I didn’t have any expectations. While the Form 3 didn’t work for me as Jimmyjane designed it to, I do enjoy using it very much. Do I enjoy it enough to justify its $145 price tag? Well, no, but considering I find that price to be extraordinary, something would have to clean my entire house in addition to getting me off all day long for me to entertain the idea.

Take a look at the video Jimmyjane made for the Form 3 and what it has been designed to do below:

The Vibrating Pleasure Pump from Good Vibrations is one of the more interesting toys I have had the opportunity to take for a spin and review. It’s interesting, at least to me, because before receiving this toy, I had all of zero experience with pumps of any kind. I did not know what pumping my vulva or clitoris would do, exactly, although I imagined it would make the area more sensitive as more blood was pumped into it and who doesn’t like a little more (or a lot more) sensitivity? And hey, if it turned out I didn’t enjoy the pumping action, this thing also vibrates and I like vibrations, obviously.

So I received the Vibrating Pleasure Pump and naturally, ripped it open immediately. It was surprisingly smaller than I had anticipated. The pump in its entirety is 7 1/2 inches in length, but the head, which I thought would cover more surface area than it does, is just big enough to fit over my clitoris. The pump is made of plastic and the attachment that stretches over the head is made of TPR. The attachment has small ticklers that stimulate the clitoris and vulva when the vibration is turned on. A second, smooth attachment sans ticklers also comes with this toy, so depending on your personal preference, you can easily remove one attachment and use the other. The head is flexible and allows very subtle movement for easier placement and position against yourself. The entire toy is waterproof and the hand pump is really cute; it is covered in small, very slightly raised hearts, making it a little girly aesthetically, regardless of if you purchase it in purple or smoke. I received the Vibrating Pleasure Pump in smoke, which is really just a very dark grey color.

As for how the Vibrating Pleasure Pump works, you simply place the head of the toy over your clitoris, nipple, or any other sensitive spot you would like to use it on, and begin pumping via the hand-held pump. There is a small white button below the head that, when pressed once, turns a constant vibration on with its lowest setting, when pressed a second time the vibration gets a little faster, and finally, when pressed a third time, the vibration is even more intense. Easy, right? Yes, in theory! You see, this pump doesn’t necessarily pump or suck or whatever terminology you would like to use. After squeezing the hand-held pump twice, it’s done. That is all. No more pumping, and while it does suction to the area you are using it on, it doesn’t provide close to enough stimulation to make that much of a difference. When cycling through the vibration settings I found that the highest setting was just enough to slightly stimulate me and make me want more from it. This isn’t that surprising considering the Vibrating Pleasure Pump requires only two AAA batteries, but it is also extremely quiet and when using it, I could barely hear a thing, even when using it at its highest setting.

Essentially, the scenario you can look forward to with the Vibrating Pleasure Pump is giving the hand-held pump two squeezes then squeezing a few more times hoping it will grab onto you tighter. When you realize it won’t, you may take it off, switch to another spot, or reposition the head and do it again, and again, you will want more from it. When you turn the vibrations on to the highest setting, you will most likely start to believe that the pump has finally begun doing its job as it stimulates you just a wee bit more. You think that’s what your body was craving; you just needed the vibration! But wait, now you just need a little more. Just a little more stimulation and you’ll be good to go, but the Vibrating Pleasure Pump has nothing more to give and after a few more minutes, and maybe after a few more times of repositioning the toy against your body, you will give up.

The first time I used this toy I was ready to give up after about fifteen minutes of fumbling around and yearning for the toy to do more, but I wanted to stick it out and see if it was able to get and keep me where I wanted to be. I did end up having an orgasm with the Vibrating Pleasure Pump, but it was honestly one of the weakest orgasms I have ever had in my life and it left me gravely disappointed. It’s a shame because I had never tried out a pump of any kind before and I had all of these “Wouldn’t it be awesome if this was my newest sex toy obsession?” expectations that were all sorts of let down.

The Vibrating Pleasure Pump has a price tag of $32, but is part of the Under the Mistletoe sex toy kit which is part of the Good Vibrations holiday gift guide. The Under the Mistletoe kit is $49 and includes the Vibrating Pleasure Pump, the Butterfly Kiss Vibe, which we also reviewed back in August, in addition to Sliquid Silk lubricant and four AAA batteries.

Thanks to Good Vibrations for giving me the opportunity to review the Vibrating Pleasure Pump.
Most women know of the advantages of kegel exercises–stories, jokes, and tips about them have appeared in numerous ladies’ television shows and movies–but up until recently, I had been doing them the old-fashioned way; without the help of kegel exerciser balls. I have been terribly curious about kegel balls for a little while now, but also a bit perplexed with them, as in I didn’t know if they would do much for me. I’m a young woman (early 20′s) and have never had a child. I have, however, had a lot of sex and I own a lot of sex toys, a few of them that grace the wish lists of size queens everywhere. Did I have something to be gravely concerned about? Of course not, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t interested in the powers of kegel balls and if they would have any magical effect on me. MyPleasure recently sent me Textured K-Balls to review and I was oh so super excited to try them out.

These Textured K-Balls are made by Ophoria, of 100% pure Japanese platinum silicone. They are 4 inches by 1 1/2 inches at their widest point, the silicone string attached to them is 3 1/2 inches in length, and they are gorgeous; even the pink and white cardboard box they come packaged in is gorgeous. Each of the kegel balls contain weighted shakers inside of them. Here’s how the scenario plays out: You insert the Textured K-Balls (if necessary, you use some great water-based lube for ease of entry) and use your internal muscles to squeeze down onto the balls. If you’re standing, the weights inside the kegel balls will make you need to squeeze your muscles tighter around the balls to keep them inside of you. There are four textured rings around the K-Balls which provide some added stimulation internally and the shaker weights, when moving, provide even more stimulation.

Here’s how my scenario with the Textured K-Balls played out: A tiny dollop of water-based lube was almost necessary for insertion. I could have inserted them without it, but the lube made insertion a whole lot easier. That should have been the very indicator that I wouldn’t have too much trouble keeping the kegel balls in. These kegel balls were a bit too big to work correctly for me; I didn’t have to use my internal muscles almost at all to keep them in, but there is something about these balls that really did work for me. As I mentioned, the shakers provide a good amount of internal stimulation when you’re moving, making me want to move all the time. Seriously, I would have competed in a triathlon to continue the stimulation the shakers provided, granted I had the physical endurance to do so.

It is incredibly awesome that the string attached to the balls is made of silicone. That way, it doesn’t get dirty over time and then make you feel pretty gross if you go to use a toy that has an attached fabric string and it looks not-so-pristine. Silicone also makes the string very easy to grab onto and retrieve the kegel balls after use.

Kegel exercises and the use of kegel balls are meant to locate your PC muscles and make performing kegel exercises easier and more effective, they strengthen your vaginal muscles for more intense orgasms and giving a lover a sense of tightness. They are also ideal for women who have given birth and for bringing incontinence under control. Kegel balls have an incredible effect on your vaginal health and I think I’ll put my Textured K-Balls away for just a little while longer until they can prove themselves to be more effective.

Thanks to MyPleasure for the opportunity to review Textured K-Balls.

Adding to my now pretty elaborate collection of Tantus toys is the Deuce 1, a toy that I have a little trouble describing as a vibrator or a dildo, hence the reason why I can only properly refer to it as a vibrating dildo. On its own, it’s a textbook-defined dildo, but when you insert the small bullet vibrator into the bottom of the base of the Deuce 1, it turns into a vibrator, or, vibrating dildo. You can use it either way.

I was sent the Deuce 1 by the folks over at Fascinations to review. At first glance, the Deuce 1 is a spectacularly-sized toy that beginners will most definitely need to work up to. It is 7 inches in length (about 6 1/4 inches insertable if you use this with a harness), with a diameter of 1 3/4 inches. It is made of 100% ultra-premium platinum silicone, as all Tantus toys are, and weighs approximately 1 pound. The silicone makes this toy very firm, but with a little force, it is possible to bend it to your will. I received the Deuce 1 in pearl white, but it’s also available in pink and purple. The pearl white is very pretty, it looks a lot like the Vamp dildo, minus the sparkles and an addition of a ridge at the middle of the toy.

As I mentioned above, the insertable length of the Deuce 1 is determined by if you’re using it with a harness or not. It is O-ring compatible, but since I don’t have a harness, nor am I very familiar with them, I can’t really comment on its effectiveness. Because there is no real “handle”, any grip you have on it will compromise the length, but considering this is a pretty lengthy toy, I wouldn’t necessarily be worried that it won’t reach deep enough; I know I didn’t have that problem using it as a stationary dildo.

The Deuce 1 could not touch my g-spot, as the product description claims. This is, I believe, because of the firmness of the silicone. It doesn’t bend quite enough into a good curve to meet my g-spot and is very straight. What makes the Deuce 1 exciting, and what piqued my interest about it in the first place, is that there is a very distinct ridge in the center of it, designed to stimulate the g-spot as well as the urethral sponge not once, but twice in every stroke. Sadly, I found this ridge to be painful. Quite painful, in fact. I usually can’t feel much texture with toys, so I thought that with the ridge being so defined I would feel a different and welcomed sensation with it, but I just didn’t and every time I used this toy, each time with a very considerable amount of water-based lube, it just hurt. Another very important aspect of the Deuce 1 that saddened me (and my vagina) is that it is so sharp! It comes together at the very top at a very profound tip that, when inserted completely, feels sharp, uncomfortable, and when thrusting, painful.

I deemed the small bullet vibrator that is inserted into the bottom of the Deuce 1 base to be pretty much useless. While the vibrations do spread evenly throughout the length of the toy, the push-button control at the bottom of the vibrator doesn’t click and stay on without being pushed in throughout the entire time you’re using it. This is annoying and while using the toy, I didn’t really feel the vibrations all that much to begin with.

I wish I liked the Deuce 1 more, of course. I thought I would, but considering the distinct and sharp tip and the very pronounced and painful ridge, it felt like I was pretty much consenting to self-inflicted pain (and not in an even mildly good or arousing way) every time I tried to use it while hoping the results would be different.

This giveaway is now closed.

I have quickly become a huge fan of massagers. Between the Hitachi Magic Wand and the Wahl I thought I was pretty much set, but that was until I saw the Mini Mistress Massager and realized that I didn’t have a mini massager and this one was super cute and black and pink, so of course that meant I had to have it. The immensely awesome folks over at Daily Sex Toys sent me the Mini Mistress Massager to review and not only that, but they also gave me the chance to offer up another Mini Mistress Massager that will go to one lucky Woman Tribune reader. Did I mention that Daily Sex Toys is also one of our newest partners and we hope to keep featuring reviews and giveaways just like this one in the future? Yeah, you should really go check them out.

It must be noted that the Mini Mistress Massager is every bit as cute in person as it is in the picture you see to your left. It’s incredibly petite when compared to full-size massagers such as the Hitachi, but it’s still functional and very easy to use. It’s small size, at just 8 inches in total length and weighing a total of 12 ounces, makes it a great little travel companion and it won’t take up too much space in your bedside table for easy access or in your chest, bin, drawer, or wherever else you keep your adult goodies.

The handle of this massager is a little different than other massagers I’ve seen, as the handle is curved at the middle for maximum comfort and ease of use. Even if you use this massager for longer periods of time, it won’t make your hand uncomfortable or cramp up. The handle is made of plastic, but the flexible, vibrating head is made of TPR, making it phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and latex free. This material also makes it totally compatible with all lubricants as well as latex condoms if you plan on sharing your massager.

Speaking of lubricants! I don’t usually use lube while using massagers, even though I generally like a slick and slippery feeling when using toys. However, because of the amount of drag the TPR material has to it, it is a whole lot more comfortable to use when you apply just a small amount of lubricant to it. I used water-based lube, as I do with everything because silicone lube freaks me out, but you can feel free to use whichever kind you like most without risk of ruining your toy.

The Mini Mistress Massager can be powered by USB or there is a outlet adapter included that you can use. I would recommend you use the outlet adapter for stronger vibrations, as the vibrations aren’t as strong when powered solely by USB. However, the USB drive could come in handy if you’re using the massager while indulging in adult computer activities and/or videos. You can use your judgment on that one. The control pad sits at the front of the handle of the massager and is super easy to use. With a touch of a button you can turn the massager on and off and right below the power button is another that cycles through the five vibration settings.

Ah yes, vibration modes. Keep in mind I have admitted here on a few occasions that I am a Hitachi-on-high user. With that in mind, the Mini Mistress Massager made my eyes roll into the back of my head by speed number 3 and by the time I got to the fifth speed, I was just about spent. The intensity of these vibrations are exceptional. However, the only real cons about this massager–and there are some cons–is that it is extremely noisy. My full-size massagers do not come close to comparing to the amount of noise the Mini Mistress Massager makes, so if you’re in a setting that relies on you being very quiet, you may want to save this massager for a time when you won’t possibly wake someone up or be asked questions about what that loud mechanical sound is. Also, the cord is relatively short, but not terribly unmanageable.

All things considered, I am extremely happy that I have the Mini Mistress Massager in my collection and at $33.75 from Daily Sex Toys, it’s a great buy.

When someone dives head first into the vast, wonderful world of adult toys, it doesn’t take long until they find themselves with a wish list of all the toys they absolutely, positively need to add to their collection. When I saw so many people raving about the Wahl, it quickly rose to the top of my wish list. Then, like the Santa Clause of sex toys, the awesome folks over at MyPleasure offered me the chance to review it.

After just one use, my immediate conclusion was that all of my Wahl wishes were not made in vain.

The Wahl is technically an all-body massager, but in very much the same way that the Hitachi is technically a body massager; in both cases, it may work very well in relieving your minor aches and pains, but it’s much more fun and rewarding when used as a clitoral stimulator. When I first received the Wahl and read over the box, which states that if used correctly, the massager will relieve muscle tension and improve blood circulation, I had some fun with the obvious innuendo on Twitter, because really, how could you not?

So let’s get down to the specifics of the Wahl with the assumption that you’re going to use it as a sex toy.

The Wahl is made of hard plastic and plugs into an outlet via the 9-foot chord. Nine feet of chord is definitely more than enough leeway for me and should work in most all scenarios you find yourself wanting to use the Wahl in. It has seven different attachments, all meant to be used to target a specific part of the body for the most thorough massage; subsequently, they each provide their own unique sensations. When you receive the Wahl, the general body attachment is already on it, used for all-over soothing; this is the attachment I used with the Wahl for the first few times and it worked phenomenally, but as I experimented with more of the attachments I started liking the general body attachment less and less. In my opinion, the spot application attachment for pin-point massage and the deep muscle attachment work the best; using either of them, I go from very mild arousal to amazing orgasm in no more than five minutes. That is wildly impressive. Due to there being seven different attachments, I have no doubts of anyone and everyone being able to pick up the Wahl and find an attachment they immediately fall in love with.

There are two vibration modes on the Wahl, low and high. I was completely satisfied by the intensity of vibration, and to give you a point of reference, I’m someone who consistently uses the Hitachi on high. I happen to enjoy very intense vibrations as well as a good amount of pressure, both completely attainable with the Wahl. This massager has quite the motor inside of it; because of this, the Wahl is on the heavier side, but not so much as to be unwieldy. You can either hold the massager by the handle, or there are ergonomic ridges at either side of the head that will fit your thumb and fingers comfortably. When you hold it by the head, however, do not be surprised if your hand goes numb after a few minutes, especially if you’re using the high vibration setting.

While I used to immediately reach for the Hitachi whenever I wanted a quickie orgasm I didn’t have to work too hard at, I now immediately reach for the Wahl. I like how it better pinpoints an area and it is just a phenomenal massager; the best I’ve had the pleasure of using thus far, in fact. With a $29.95 price tag, there is absolutely no reason why you should not own a Wahl.

Thanks to MyPleasure for the opportunity to review the Wahl. The Little Flirt butt plug is very appropriately named; it is indeed little, but I would venture to go even a step further and say that it could also be called the Tiny Flirt or even the Minuscule Flirt. Essentially, if you have any experience with butt plugs or anal penetration at all, even just a little bit, you’re probably going to want to look for something not so… yeah, little.

When the Little Flirt arrived from the super awesome folks over at Babeland, it pretty much came close to what I was looking for at the time. As a woman with a lot of anal play experience–and I mean a lot–I understandably have a good amount of larger-sized toys. The majority of these toys get a tad uncomfortable if I use them for extended periods of time and you know what’s a lot of fun to do? Bringing your uninhibited sexuality to your workday. Because I am lucky enough to work from home, I sometimes bring my sex toys into my work life and was looking for a butt plug that could stay inserted for a long time, such as while I’m sitting at my computer writing articles and doing other work-related tasks. Obviously, these specifications call for something small, something made with an absolute beginner in mind and the Little Flirt fit the bill at 3 1/4 inches in length and 1 inch in diameter. However, after I took it out of the box, I immediately started questioning its safety for extended use. The Little Flirt is made of silicone, but it is super soft. It is super soft, bendy, squishy, and just keeps on giving. There is very little firmness to it, almost none in fact, so I of course began to wonder if the flared base could squish and bend in on itself so much that it could get lost and then we would have a pretty alarming problem. Answer: No, it does not bend in on itself to that degree. Luckily. But the fear was there and that was enough to make me just a little uneasy with this plug.

Given my reservations with just how small the Little Flirt is, I did what any kindhearted and awesome woman would do. I sterilized it and gave it to my partner to try. The other anal play experience my partner has had in terms of toys was the Aneros prostate stimulator, which arrived as part of the Prostate Pleasure Kit (now discontinued) and in fact was the very first review I ever did for Babeland–or any company ever–back in August of 2008. Over two years later and the Aneros is still his go-to when it comes to prostate stimulators, but he really doesn’t use it that much, which I think is odd and frankly, a damn shame. So I gave him the Little Flirt, thinking it would be perfect for him, he who has an aversion to any butt toys that rival one of his fingers in size.

Overall, he very much enjoyed the Little Flirt and said he would definitely use it again, although he was quick to mention that he is still a lot more fond of the Aneros. The lack of firmness, which may not be ideal for me, worked for him because it was soft enough to work with his body and while having it in during sex, he said that it made his orgasm a lot better, which again the lack of firmness could have contributed to because while it’s a very straight plug, it bends and can hit the p-spot.

The Little Flirt is made by Tantus, a toy manufacturer that I have fallen in absolute love with over the past year or so, accumulating a good variety of their toys, both of the butt plug and dildo variety. Tantus has come to mean great quality to me. It means 100% ultra-premium platinum silicone. It means body safe, fun, and supremely awesome. The Little Flirt is sadly the first and only toy made by Tantus that I have not been over the moon thrilled with. On the bright side, this plug is a Babeland Moregasm Toy of the Month, so it’s obviously adored by a great deal of people, all of which I would be willing to bet were complete newcomers to anal play when they gave it a try. So, it’s a good plug if you have zero experience or very, very minimal experience at the most, but don’t expect it to make all of your wildest anal fantasies come true.

Back in the beginning of the summer I reviewed the Turtle vibrator from Papaya Toys and now I’m back with another review, this time of their Candy Stick vibrator.

The Candy Stick is awesome. I think the reason why these reviews are coming months apart is because every time I began to write this review, I thought, ‘Well, I should try it again, you know, just in case I missed something!’ I didn’t exactly need to make sure I knew everything about the Candy Stick in order to write about it as much as I just wanted to keep using it. And boy oh boy have I used it!

So let’s talk about the technical specs of this vibrator. Just like the Turtle, the Candy Stick comes in the standard, super great and very pretty Papaya Toys packaging. It also includes a silk black pouch for safekeeping. It is 10 inches in length, 6 1/2 inches insertable and is made of 100% medical grade silicone that is firm, very firm, in fact, but not so hard that it’s going to feel like it’s going to injure you in any way.

The Candy Stick is completely body safe, created and manufactured with people’s high expectations of their sex toys and health in mind, which is something we can all get behind. This vibrator, as you can see, contains a whole lot of texture; it has very distinct swirls along its entire insertable length and while I have not been very receptive to subtle texture in other toys, I could feel the swirls of the Candy Stick and just for the record, it feels amazing.

The Candy Stick takes two AA batteries that are inserted by twisting the bottom of the vibrator off, which is located right above the ring of purple you see at the base in the picture above. It has a removable battery compartment that you take out, put the batteries inside, put the compartment back inside the base of the vibrator and twist it back on, all of which is super easy to do. The controls are located at the very bottom of the base of the vibrator that are triggered by pushing the two soft buttons. This vibrator has three different pulsation variations, one is a straight-forward constant vibration, another is a steady pulsation and the last is a sorta-kinda random pulsation, but it does loop after a little bit. Each vibration can be increased and decreased in intensity by a push of the buttons. When you turn the Candy Stick off and then on again, it remembers what vibration setting you were last on and it also remembers the intensity of the vibration you last had it on. This vibrator is also completely waterproof and can be fully submerged in water; when submerged, it does not lose intensity at all and works just as well as it does out of the water.

I wouldn’t say that the Candy Stick is great for beginners, it’s probably not, given the amount of girth it has and the amount of texture, both of which made it more comfortable for me to use a good amount of lube with it (only water-based, silicone-based lube can ruin silicone toys and ruining Papaya Toys vibrators would be a damn tragedy) but if you’re just a bit experienced with sex toys, you should definitely pick it up. It has a $70 price tag, which isn’t a hefty amount of money to pay in the least when compared to other toys that don’t work and feel as terrific as this being sold for much more, not to mention it’s made of body-safe silicone and by a company that cares immensely about their customers and about the quality of products they put out.

A huge thank you to Papaya Toys for the opportunity to review the Candy Stick vibrator.

I have seen (and read) a whole lot about Njoy toys, specifically the Pure Wand and most recently, the Eleven. I naturally became very, very interested in what looked to be super sophisticated, gorgeous, stainless steel toys. While all of the toys by Njoy look super interesting and trigger an intense lust factor within me, I was most interested in the Fun Wand because it is two-sided and one of the sides has three graduated bulbs that I immediately thought I absolutely needed to experience.

The tremendously awesome folks over at Fascinations sent me a Fun Wand to review and to put it mildly, I am in love.

Within the past weeks, I have used the Fun Wand more times than I can count on both hands and every time, it has been amazing. Toes curling, my free hand grasping and clenching anything around me kind of amazing. Eyes rolling into the back of my skull kind of amazing. The only time the Fun Wand failed to leave me satisfied (and then some) was the very first time I tried using it, which is expected and I totally forgive it for.

The Fun Wand is 8 inches in length and weighs in at a half a pound. As I already mentioned, on one side of the Fun Wand are three graduated bulbs that start at 0.75 inches with the largest bulb being 1 inch. The other side is a solid curved shaft that is ideal for g-spot stimulation and measures at 1 inch around.

I have been known to be quite weary of any toy that was made with g-spot stimulation in mind, always immediately thinking ‘Yeah, but will it reach mine?’ Luckily, the Fun Wand can, quite effortlessly, I might add. When simply looking at the Fun Wand, it looks a little thin, but because of the stainless steel material that is a little weighty and incredibly solid, it feels pretty awesome and a little bigger than it looks. It won’t feel amazing diameter-wise, by any stretch of the imagination, but it is satisfying and the pressure it can put on your g-spot without feeling like it’s going to break you is lovely. The Fun Wand is versatile; you can use both ends of the toy for vaginal or anal penetration, for g-spot and p-spot stimulation. I can vouch for its effectiveness for g-spot stimulation, but can’t tell you if it works as well for p-spot stimulation, but I would imagine it does. The bulbs feel much larger than they really are when using the Fun Wand anally, which is both exciting and satisfying, but keep in mind that you can definitely use a little more lube for anal penetration. Speaking of lube, for vaginal penetration, I only used a small amount of water-based lube and it was more than enough. While I much prefer water-based lube over anything else, you can use whichever type you like with this toy.

One small problem that has come up a few times with the shape and weight of the Fun Wand is that when I used it for thrusting, I was absolutely unable to relax my hand at all without the toy kind of falling off to the side and turning itself around, which I think is because the ends of the wand curve in opposite directions.

All in all, I’m really thrilled with the Njoy Fun Wand and at $75.99 from Fascinations, which is the cheapest price I’ve seen from most other sex toy retailers, it’s definitely one of the more affordable toys from Njoy.

Thanks to Fascinations for giving me the opportunity to review the Njoy Fun Wand.

Disclaimer: This is a review of sex furniture. It is adult in nature and therefore only intended for a mature audience.

Sex furniture is a wide world of elusive wonderment, at least for me. I’ve known about it for a while, sure, but it didn’t really go any further than that I knew it existed and somehow made sex better while allowing you to not have to hold yourself up as much while attempting to get into those “oh, right there, don’t stop” positions. Other than that, well, I really just had no idea. I received the Love Bumper Iceberg from Good Vibrations to test out for myself and see if sex furniture is really some big, complex world that I just never understood because I hadn’t experienced it for myself or if I haven’t really been missing much in my ignorance.

When the Love Bumper Iceberg arrived, I admittedly didn’t take it out to try very quickly. In fact, I kind of let it sit on the bed, on the floor, in the closet, back on the bed and my first real contact with it was using it as a lap cushion while using my netbook in bed. It is an awesome lap cushion for a portable computer, but aside from that, I really had no idea how to go about trying this wedge-shaped cushion out for its originally intended use, and so it hung out in my house for a very long time, untouched. One thing I noticed within the first few days of it hanging out in my bedroom is that its polysuede cover attracts a good amount of lint, fibers and cat hair and when you have two cats, that can be quite a big problem. Granted, the cover is washable, but because of the super softness of the cover and its very unique texture, it’s difficult to completely clean without more lint, fiber and hairs immediately sticking to it.

While the Love Bumper Iceberg does come with a few diagrams of cartoons that are meant to resemble human bodies showing you the many different ways you can use the Love Bumper Iceberg, the dimensions of the cushion (13 3/4″ x 13″ x 7 1/2″) seemed incredibly small to me; well, it’s either that or I’m bigger than the people the creators of this cushion had in mind when dreaming it into reality. It could very well be either one of those. Needless to say, when we did bring the Love Bumper Iceberg out, there was some really awkward fumbling, falling, echoes of ‘Does this feel right?’ and ‘Is it better this way?’ going on before finding a position that felt right that also lifted and arched my body in the right way.

After doing some research of other types of sex furniture on the market, I found that the Love Bumper Iceberg has a little something extra added to it to make it just a little more appealing. At the top of the wedge, there is a small pocket where you can slide in a small vibrator (about 1 1/2″ diameter) for added vibration. You can see how this works in the picture below.

Unfortunately, aside from the super basic vibrator you see tucked into the pocket of the Love Bumper Iceberg, no other vibrator I own could fit nicely into the pocket, which was a bit disheartening since I was looking forward to the possibility of having simultaneous clitoral stimulation from a vibrator while arched over the other end of the wedge.

Sadly, I was not very impressed with the Love Bumper Iceberg and doubt I will use it very much in the future. While we did get it into a position that worked eventually, it wasn’t that much better than the support I can give myself and I don’t find myself wanting to hold off on a moment in order to go and grab it in hopes of having a better experience over all, because frankly, it doesn’t make too much of a positive difference. Well, perhaps I’ll continue to use it as a lap cushion to keep my netbook propped up when working from bed with a nice mug of delicious coffee, but that’s about it.

My experience with clitoral stimulators have been hit or miss thus far, so that, combined with the fact that I was totally inexperienced with aluminum put me at two complete opposite sides of the spectrum at the same, exact time; I was excited, yet skeptical and also super terrified I was going to hate it all at once.

At very first glance, the Tybo Europa is gorgeous. It is sleek, shiny and silver with a blast of deep red color in the center. Both ends of this vibrator have removable covers; when you remove the top cover the rounded-tip stimulator is underneath and when you remove the bottom cover, which is shaped to make the entire vibrator look more like a high-end lipstick rather than something that gets you off, there is the incredibly simple push-button control where the company’s name is also visibly etched into it. The push-button control has to be pushed in until you hear a tiny clicking sound, so accidentally turning it off mid-use is virtually impossible. Because the Europa doesn’t clearly scream that it’s a vibrator and because it is so compact, it is excellent for traveling or for keeping in a house with nosy children or in a dorm room or shared living space with nosy roommates.

Essentially, the Europa is a bullet vibe and measures just under five inches in length. It takes one AA battery and a single speed vibration which isn’t weak, but not particularly mind-blowing, either. The vibration did not surprise me in its level of vibration and I tend to be more of a fan of a single vibration, so I like that it didn’t have nine variations to cycle through, but the level of vibration from the Europa did get a little boring and could have been just a little more intense. What was a bit surprising, but in a very good way, was the transmission of temperature and how well the Europa holds its temperature. When I first took this clitoral stimulator out of it’s black slide box, it was cold and it is cold when I take it out every time, but it warms up gradually and you can soak it in hot water since it’s completely waterproof and it will also retain that hotter temperature.

Being under five inches in length, most of that being where your hand will be positioned while in use, this is best for external stimulation rather than thinking you can insert it and it will somehow be satisfying, because it really isn’t. While the Europa is technically a clitoral stimulator, it also feels really great when stimulating the nipples, especially because of its ability to retain temperature, whether warmed or chilled; you can also feel free to stimulate any other sensitive part of your body with it.

Over all, the Europa is a fine stimulator; it isn’t absolutely phenomenal and I don’t find myself craving it in any way when I’m looking for something to bring to my bed, but it wasn’t a gigantic let down and it didn’t frustrate me, either. I found that I enjoy using it for clitoral stimulation with a little water-based lube because I like everything to be a little wet and able to glide around comfortably. The Europa can be sterilized if you want to share it with a partner and it’s super easy to clean with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, but I did notice that it looks a little marked up after cleaning it and it happened just after the first use, which definitely made me a little sad.

Thank you to MyPleasure for giving me the opportunity to review the Tybo Europa.

I have read seemingly countless reviews of the Butterfly Kiss vibrator from a multitude of different reviewers with different sex toy preferences. I have researched, watched video reviews, read lengthy written reviews, and every time someone talks about the Butterfly Kiss vibrator, they have something very positive to say about it. When I had the opportunity to review this vibrator, thanks to the awesome folks over at Good Vibrations, I decided to give it a shot just because of all of the positive things I have heard about it. I officially believe all of the people who have written and said such amazing things about this toy are out of their minds.

I have never been so bored by a vibrator than I was by the Butterfly Kiss. It not only bored me, but I attempted to get myself very worked up with another toy and then use the Butterfly Kiss to see if I could get any pleasure out of it whatsoever and it actually turned me off. Every time I attempted to use this vibrator, it lasted a matter of minutes before it frustrated me so much that I couldn’t take it anymore and put it away.

The Butterfly Kiss vibrator is made of jelly and is 7 inches in total length with only 3 inches insertable length. Every single review I have seen of this vibrator, not to mention the product description of this toy, have mentioned how absolutely amazing this toy is for g-spot stimulation and I kind of feel cheated by the Vagina Gods for not blessing me with a g-spot located within the first three inches of my vagina. As I have mentioned before, mine is located very deep within me. Like, stick your entire finger in there and reach up and you just may be able to just graze the g-spot. Maybe. If you’re lucky. I need some serious length and 3 inches just isn’t going to do it. The jelly material makes this vibrator incredibly flexible and bendy, and is also kind of floppy.

I received the Butterfly Kiss in purple, although it’s looking more blue in the picture above. I assure you, however, it is very purple. If purple isn’t your thing, Good Vibrations also carries it in pink. The insertable tip of the vibrator is shaped very oddly. It is essentially a bulb that measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter and it tapers down into a much thinner shaft and then juts out to form the butterfly-shaped clitoral stimulator. Two very small antennas vibrator to provide stimulation to your clit and there are also two butterfly wings that vibrate against your labia. There are three speeds that you can cycle through by pushing one button at the very bottom of the vibrator. I can only think to describe the speeds as barely noticeable, semi-noticeable and noticeable but still not enough to provide you any real stimulation at all. Granted, it does take two AAA batteries, which are inserted at the very bottom of the vibrator by twisting off the plastic end, and I already know not to expect very much from a toy that takes AAA batteries. However, this was just ridiculously unnoticeable and boring and really, not enough to even get you worked up enough to want to stick it out. It just isn’t possible.

The product description on Good Vibrations’ website says that the Butterfly Kiss vibrator is waterproof and I’m inclined to believe them, but I don’t know how well it holds up by being submerged in water because I couldn’t deal with this vibrator long enough to even want to bring it to the tub with me.

I have not been so disappointed in a vibrator in a while. I’ve really disliked some vibrators, but this one just had me thinking “What could this possibly do for all of those people who have been raving about it for so long!?” After trying very hard to make this vibrator work for me, I’m inclined to believe that all of the women out there who have been saying nothing but great things about it are lying; I can’t think of any other excuse.

Jelly sex toys are pretty difficult to care for. They can melt if kept in humid areas and if they are kept unprotected with other toys, they can melt onto your other toys and ruin something you may actually like. Jelly cannot be sterilized or sanitized, so don’t share it. To clean, use warm water and toy cleaner or a very mild anti-bacterial soap. I usually let toys made out of sticky-like materials air dry because everything will stick to it and as soon as I see little hairs and fibers stuck to it, I need to clean it again and it just poses to be a vicious cycle, so air drying is good.

The Butterfly Kiss vibrator was a gigantic flop and I would not recommend it at all, to anyone. Even with its very inexpensive $18 price tag, I wouldn’t even recommend someone who is curious about it to pick it up and give it a try. I have no idea how the Butterfly Kiss vibrator has gotten so popular, but I firmly believe that this vibrator is so bad that it would even bore complete beginners. There are a ton of other, more-pleasurable and enticing toys out there in the same price range as the Butterfly Kiss.

Thanks to Good Vibrations for giving me the opportunity to review the Butterfly Kiss vibrator.

Anal toys are a lot of fun–plugs, probes, dildos with safe, flared bases; regardless of the type of toy you use, anal stimulation will take your sex life to a whole new, wonderful, exciting and just plain spectacular heights. Personally, I’m a big fan of probes and it’s weird because I didn’t think I would be. On my quest for the perfect butt toy, I have tried a lot of plugs because I thought that naturally, they would lend themselves better to me being able to walk around with it effortlessly inside of me or have sex with it firmly inside without it slipping out. I was, however, mistaken.

The Rapture No. 5 comes in a modern, minimalist white cardboard box with a plastic see-through panel so you can see the toy inside. The box also works great to store the toy in for safekeeping and even after hanging out in my big box of toys for quite some time, the box doesn’t look worn at all. This plug is gorgeous; it is made by Ophoria and is extremely classy and amazingly great quality. It is made of 100% pure silicone and it is Phthalate-free and hypoallergenic and feels super soft and smooth to the touch. I received the Rapture No. 5 for review from the awesome folks over at Fascinations and I received it in navy, although it looks more dark purple than dark blue to me, and it is also available in charcoal, which isn’t nearly as pretty as the navy; at least in my opinion.

This probe is very firm, but flexible enough to feel comfortable against and inside you. It has five distinct, tapered bulges; the very top starts out small and is nicely rounded for easy insertion and it progressively gets wider. At its widest point, it reaches a diameter of 1.5 inches. What is a little different about this probe than most, most I’ve had experience with anyway, is that it does not have a flared base. Instead, it has a single finger handle that is big enough for anyone to fit their finger into and keep a great amount of control over the probe.

This is one of the bigger-sized probes I’ve had; because it gets quite wide by the third and fourth bulges, make sure to use a generous amount of lube with it. Speaking of lube, make sure to use only water-based lubricant because the Rapture No. 5 is made of pure silicone. A friend of mine asked about its ability to be used vaginally and before I received this toy, I was thinking the same thing. So when it arrived I attempted to use it vaginally first and because of the girth of the fourth and fifth bulges, it didn’t feel as pleasurable as I thought it would. I guess I’m not into bulges when it comes to vaginal stimulation because it just felt like way too much and very, very weird. I am keeping it mind that it could be an acquired feeling that maybe I’ll like as I continue to use it, but for right now, I’m really loving it as an anal probe. Oddly, the thickness of the bulges do not feel as weird anally. This makes me feel a little backwards in terms of what size toys are feeling more comfortable where. So, anally speaking, if you will, I love that when you work over the last little bit of the fourth bulge and into the fifth, the material is still super soft against you and it gave me just a little twinge of pain, but nothing I would actually classify as painful. It was just wide enough to make me feel full and fulfilled. I immediately fell in love with the abilities of this probe and don’t see myself getting sick of it any time soon.

Much to my surprise, the Rapture No. 5 allows me to have it in and walk around freely without it slipping out, granted it did take some time to figure out just how much lube to use to have it so it feels very comfortable in me, but isn’t so slippery that it just falls out without having to be held in. After you figure out the right amount of lube, you’ll be good to go.

Disclaimer: This is a review of a sex toy. It is adult in nature and therefore only intended for a mature audience.

The G-Ki vibrator from Je Joue is an innovative luxury vibrator with some pretty lengthy aspirations, which make it full of little surprises and features.

Many people claim that the g-spot does not exist. I have always thought that the bulk of those people were men who just couldn’t find their lady’s g-spot. Then I think some scientists were also having a bit of a location problem (especially considering the g-spot is not located in the same place in every woman) and decided to conduct a study so they could prove the myth that is the g-spot. As soon as that “scientific evidence” came out, I believe that convinced some women that they didn’t have a g-spot and so the myth continues. But it does exist, I assure you, you just may have a little trouble trying to find yours at first.

While I have known the location of my g-spot for quite some time, I have been looking for a vibrator that could reach it, considering how oddly high it is. Seriously, it’s high, as in way up there, as in whenever I hear a sex educator or sex toy retail person claim that you can get a small toy and reach your g-spot because it should be located within 3 inches of your vaginal canal, I laugh and laugh and then after laughing, I laugh some more. I have had three vibrators specifically made for g-spot stimulation and out of those three, I have one that can reach it. Because of its high placement, I not only need something with a good upward angle, I also need something pretty long. I also like my toys to be on the thicker side, so as you can tell, I’ve been looking for quite a few features in one toy and you may be thinking I have set myself up for failure.

That is precisely why I was so interested in having the opportunity to review the G-Ki, which Babeland was so very generous to send to me for this review.

The G-Ki has received an immense amount of praise, but I wanted to know if it was receiving such positive reviews because it is a higher-priced ($99), luxury vibrator and the fact that it is made by Je Joue, the same brains behind the SaSi, which also received a great deal of praise, or if the G-Ki could really be my g-spot’s BFF.

The G-Ki is made of 100% body safe silicone, it has five speeds and pulsations, it’s waterproof and it has two spots where if you push the sphere down, it is easily adjusted for a more intense curve to hit your g-spot. It has a bulbous head that tapers down into a thinner shaft and depending on and how far you adjust your G-Ki for more of a curve, the base of the vibrator where the power buttons are located can sit against your clit and vibrate while you’re also stimulating your g-spot. Amazing concept! Bravo, Je Joue!

The G-Ki arrives packaged in a decorated cardboard box and inside that box is another, this one is black and super classy, tied with a ribbon.

When you open it up, the G-Ki vibrator is nestled in perfectly-fitting plastic and your user manuals and magnetic charger are underneath the plastic, which you have to lift up to get to.

When I first took the G-Ki out of its box, without ever using it before, I turned it on and felt the vibrations in my hand. I was impressed, delighted, excited and could not wait to get it inside of me. The vibrations felt incredibly intense, all five different pulsations and speeds. Terribly eager to see how my vagina would react to the vibrations I was classifying as “Oh yes, this is going to be awesome!”, when I did use it, the vibrations just didn’t seem as intense as they were in my hand, which I thought was weird because I would like to think that my vagina is a little more sensitive than my hand. Had all of my escapades with the Hitachi desensitized me!? I’m going to go with no on that one, if only because it makes me feel better. I know that I do need a significant amount of power behind a vibration and I like my vibrations to be steady, constant and yes, awesome. While the G-Ki did bring me to orgasm, I’m quite fortunate that it is a g-spot vibrator instead of merely a clitoral stimulator because the g-spot stimulation was great, while the vibrations leave just a little something to be desired.

I really like how soft the G-Ki is, I love that you can basically customize it to your g-spot and it did hit my g-spot with very minimal effort. The first time I used it, I squirted quite a bit which is always a great indicator that you’ve found a pleasantly effective g-spot stimulator. It wasn’t an all-time high on my ability-to-squirt meter (yes, I have a meter) but it was respectable. Each time I have used the G-Ki, I have squirted, except for one time when I used it in the bath tub, but I generally do not enjoy bringing toys to the tub and much prefer a book, but I wanted to test out G-Ki’s ability to hold up fully submerged. It did wonderfully and didn’t lose power in the least. The G-Ki is also incredibly quiet. I was really surprised by its ability to stay at a very low volume, safe to use in a room with the door closed without anyone ever knowing what you’re doing in there.

After much fiddling around with G-Ki’s ability to bend, I have tried every angle the shaft can lock into and the only real problem I have found with it is that I really, really wish the vibrator could sit on my clit without having to maneuver it in a way where I have to rock back and forth on it. There is a time for rocking back and forth on a toy, sure, usually it’s when I’m sitting at my computer working, which is always great fun and certainly makes the work day more entertaining, but when I am really in the mood for the squirting-inducing orgasms of the G-Ki and find myself mid-play and really want the vibrations on my clit, I have found that it just does not line up with me correctly. That was also a disappointment.

Overall I think the G-Ki is definitely something to look into if you enjoy your g-spot stimulation (and what woman doesn’t? Seriously.) Or if you believe that you don’t have a g-spot, because you do and the G-Ki will find it.

Thanks to Babeland for giving me the opportunity to review the G-Ki.

MyPleasure is not your run of the mill sex toy website. When you visit their website, you are not going to be immediately slapped in the face with pictures of dildos, pocket pussies and butt plugs and it may take you a few seconds to realize that you’ve stumbled onto a website that sells sex toys. MyPleasure, while it is a business, has chosen to approach the sex industry in a completely different way than what we’ve grown accustomed to. I immediately saw it as more of a magazine with a range of entertaining, informational and highly valuable features and resources clearly placed right in plain view where you can find what you’re looking for without getting lost in the website or having to click over into a handful of different pages to find exactly what you’re looking for.

On MyPleasure, you will find sex toys, quizzes and polls and a great hub of information about just about anything you want to know about sex education. It is because of this somewhat different, completely non-threatening approach to empowering people to explore their sexuality and to get acquainted with safe sex toys and the exponential benefits they can bring to one’s life that has caught the attention of high-reaching media publications like Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, and even Oprah, where MyPleasure has received an abundance of press coverage.

I recently had the opportunity to work with MyPleasure and to try out their new expert shopping tool that is guided by questions from sex therapist and Founder of MyPleasure, Dr. Sandor Gardos. The shopping tool lets you find your perfect sex toy by answering just four or five questions about what type of sensation you’re looking for from a sex toy.

Before completing the expert shopping tool, I looked through MyPleasure’s website to pick a toy on my own that I thought would provide me with exactly what I wanted. I made sure to receive no help from the expert shopping tool at all and I received no suggestions on what type of toy to choose.

Having just recently reviewed my first dildo and loving the sensation it provided, but really not loving the material and its lack of safety when it comes to an ultra realistic material that is extremely porous and cannot be thoroughly sterilized, I knew that there were better dildos out there that required less maintenance and wouldn’t leave me with a feeling of extreme paranoia when it came to cleaning. After looking through the selection of traditional dildos, I chose the Vamp dildo made by Tantus. The Vamp dildo is something I have had my eye on for a while now; having seen it pop up pretty much everywhere with great reviews, and the fact that it is made by Tantus, a manufacturer I have come to greatly enjoy, I thought it would be a great choice for me.

And then I moved on to the expert shopping tool.

When you begin your quest to find the perfect sex toy for you, you are asked if the toy you are looking for will be used for a woman, a man, or a couple to share, or if you’re looking for a gift for a wedding shower, bachelor party, or anything falling into that realm where you may need a little help trying to find that perfect, personal something that says exactly what you want it to. You then go through a series of other questions, providing information on your sexual orientation, what type of stimulation you would like to receive from the sex toy of your dreams (internal vaginal sensations, clitoral stimulation, nipple stimulation, anal penetration, or a product that will help strengthen your PC muscles), and then you move on to a more targeted question if they need to narrow down your results, such as, if you picked internal vaginal stimulation, you would then pick whether you would like something that vibrates, is realistic, or something that can provide simultaneous vibrations internally and externally.

After choosing that I was looking for a traditional dildo that does not vibrate, that could provide g-spot penetration and does not look realistic, which was just code for “do you want a dildo made of a realistic-feeling material?” instead of focusing on the shape, I was presented with a list of five different dildos to choose from. It is right about here where I wished that I was presented with more questions to answer. At first, I thought the expert shopping tool was quick and easy, but maybe too quick and easy because right after I finished and was presented with a list of five products to choose from that should all be perfect for me, I thought “That’s it?” and really wanted to be able to pinpoint a toy more directly.

The biggest problem I had with the selection of toys that should be “perfect” for me is the material some were made of that I already knew would not be perfect for me. One of my suggestions was a g-spot dildo made of jelly. Jelly is a material I would like to stay away from at all costs. Jelly toys cannot be sterilized or sanitized and then we run into that whole paranoia about cleanliness thing again. Worst of all, jelly toys can melt and can ruin any other toys that happen to be near them. That would be one of the worst things ever in the sex toy world.

One of the suggested toys did catch my eye, though. The Aveline g-spot dildo made by Lovemoiselle, which looks absolutely gorgeous and it is made of ceramic, which piqued my interest because I do not own any ceramic toys and would love to try one out. So that was my choice from the MyPleasure expert shopping tool.

Lovemoiselle is a sex toy manufacturer I have also had my eye on for a while, purely because their toys look absolutely gorgeous. They’re like works of art I would like to put in the center of my coffee table and just look at. The fact that their products can also stimulate your vagina, as well as make you marvel at how pretty it is is surely a bonus.

The Aveline g-spot dildo comes in a very pretty black box where you can keep it for safekeeping when you’re not using it. It measures approximately 8 1/2 inches in length and 1 1/2 inches in diameter at its widest point. It is made of white ceramic and has a very pretty blue floral design along the length of one side. Surprisingly, it isn’t too heavy considering it’s ceramic. It’s light enough for vigorous thrusting and is lighter than a good amount of the silicone toys I have.

The Aveline dildo is a very low-maintenance dildo without all of the creepy materials I’ve promised myself I’d stay away from. It’s non-porous and super easy to clean and it warms quickly to your body heat and chills very fast in the fridge if you want to experiment with temperature play. The Aveline is also eco-friendly and will last a lifetime.

The sensations of the Aveline g-spot dildo were certainly different. It has a friction-free finish so it is incredibly smooth. At first, it felt really good and it reached my g-spot and provided a good amount of pressure against it. It felt very much unlike any other toy I’ve used and it was refreshing to try something so different; but after a while it was very apparent that it was just too hard, with absolutely no give whatsoever, and it started to feel uncomfortable.

I have used this dildo many times and still have not been able to actually reach an orgasm with it. It gets uncomfortable and I either have to stop or I have to switch to something that is a little softer and doesn’t feel like it could break through into my esophagus. The Aveline dildo sure is gorgeous and I love its curves and the craftsmanship of it, but as a sex toy that is used purely for wanting to have an orgasm, it falls short of being as pleasurable as I would hope it could be.

The Vamp dildo, on the other hand… Oh, the Vamp dildo. When the Aveline g-spot dildo was failing to do the trick and was actually turning me off, I most often switched to the Vamp.

The Vamp dildo is indeed “inspired by” Twilight, but I promised not to hold that against the toy itself. You see, I’m not a fan of Twilight or vampires or movies, shows, or books about vampires. I have been spared from the vampire craze, but I have always wanted the Vamp dildo ever since I first saw it come out and start making the rounds within the sex blogging community.

It is a gorgeous pale dildo made of 100% ultra-premium platinum silicone and true to the Twilight storyline, it sparkles subtly in the sunlight, which is really cool even if you despise the Twilight franchise. It has a realistically-shaped head and very subtle texture throughout. It measures at approximately 6 3/4 inches in length and 1 1/2 inches in diameter. It is delightfully filling, but doesn’t hurt, even with rigorous thrusting; just be sure to use your favorite water-based lube with it to keep things slick and comfortable. It has a very large base, which makes it O harness compatible, but I don’t have a harness to try it out with so that’s about all I know about it being able to go with your favorite harness. Its large base also makes it safe for anal play.

Like the Aveline dildo, it is also a good toy for temperature play. It will warm up to your body heat and retain that temperature, or you can put it in the fridge for a few minutes to make it a little chilly.

I am in love with the Vamp dildo. It feels amazing, it reaches my g-spot effortlessly and provides enough pressure to bring you to absolutely phenomenal orgasm without being too firm and hurting you. I have used the Vamp dildo a lot more than I’ve used anything else I have and I’m not sure if it’s because by itself it’s just amazing or if I’m still shocked at how pleasurable a simple, traditional dildo can be. Either way, it is definitely the best dildo that I own.

Over all, the MyPleasure expert shopping tool did introduce me to a new material that I have been curious about, but it was not the perfect sex toy for me. My choice of sex toy without the help of the expert shopping tool was, obviously, a much better fit. That isn’t to say that the MyPleasure expert shopping tool isn’t a worthwhile and great addition to their website, because I really do think it is. However, it is primarily for beginners who have no idea what kind of sex toy would fit their needs and what they desire the best and for those who may be completely clueless as to what type of sex toys would truly be a worthwhile endeavor for them.

If you are a sex toy newbie, the MyPleasure expert shopping tool can definitely lead you in the right direction, but if you know what you like and more importantly, the materials that you know you should stay away from, I think you’ll do just fine without the assistance.

Thank you to MyPleasure for giving me the opportunity to experience their expert shopping tool first-hand and for the chance to review the Tantus Vamp dildo and the Lovemoiselle Aveline G-spot dildo

Let me preface this review with a little story.

A few years ago the SaSi clitoral stimulator came out and it was attracting a great deal of attention. Everywhere you looked, from bloggers to sex industry experts, it was popping up all over the place and they had nothing but great things to say about it and each and every single time, the phrase “It’s just like oral sex!” popped up. I was intrigued. In fact, I was more than intrigued, I was in lust. I love oral sex; it’s great, I can never get enough of it, so a toy that received numerous praise for giving off those same kind of sensations made me really, really want it. The reason why I do not have a SaSi, even after being in lust with it for years now, is because it carries a $150 price tag. Yeah, not happening.

Seeing how popular the SaSi had become and how those who couldn’t afford the clitoral stimulator were still keeping their eye on it, I received an email featuring clitoral stimulators that are kinda sorta like the SaSi, except they came with a lower price tag. Not long after I had the chance to review the Better Than Chocolate clitoral stimulator by Nomi Tang. Long story short, I really hated the Better Than Chocolate. Unless I had a good number of hours–yes, hours!–to dedicate to myself with the inclusion of additional toys or my partner, I didn’t even bother. In fact, it has pretty much been ignored for quite some time now.

The Laya Spot by Fun Factory is very much like the Better Than Chocolate clitoral stimulator. It’s essentially the same toy. It’s an external vibrator shaped ergonomically to hug the curves of your body.

The Laya Spot is super cute. While the Better Than Chocolate could be classified as “elegant” the Laya Spot is like its quirky, cuter sister that’s a lot more fun. And it is more fun not only in its appearance, but also in its entire execution.

The Laya Spot is a multi-function, multi-speed vibrator. By pressing the small ‘plus’ sign on the top of the toy and holding it in for five seconds, it starts a straight-forward vibration at its lowest level. As you hold the button down, the vibrations gradually become more intense. When you press the ‘plus’ sign button again it will cycle through three differing vibrations and pulsation patterns and by pressing the ‘minus’ sign button, the intensity of the vibration will gradually decrease. These controls make it so that you can pinpoint exactly what type of vibration you find most pleasurable at the perfect level of intensity.

Let’s talk about the intensity of the vibrations for a second. They are good. I’d even go as far as to say that they are great, especially for a toy that takes two AAA batteries. No, they’re not going to rock your world or rub your clit right off, but they were certainly intense enough to get me off three times in about 30 minutes my first time using the Laya Spot and two of those orgasms clocked in at around 10 minutes in.

A friend of mine has already made it known that I prefer very intense vibration and pressure and because the Laya Spot is made of Elastomed, which is a hard material while also feeling soft to the touch, I was able to press it up against myself with enough pressure for it to feel pretty great. While it feels great, it didn’t get me off every single time I used it. The first time was definitely the most intense and it has trickled down in its amazingness the more I’ve been using it, but I think it’s just because I really like variety and sometimes I could have used a little more intensity in the vibrations. You can also use water-based and silicone-based lube with elastomed and the Laya Spot came with a one-use packet of silicone-based lube that I really did not like, but only because I am not a fan of silicone-based lube. I’ve found that not using lube at all with this toy worked best for me.

The Laya Spot has become a fantastic working buddy. For a few days now, while sitting at my desk getting my work for the day done, I have sat on the Laya Spot, with the curve of it pressed perfectly against me. A very slight rocking motion on it and a few minutes later and we have a solid leader in the ‘Ways to Have Fun While Working’ game.

The Laya Spot is definitely a great clitoral stimulator and for $20 less than the Better Than Chocolate, it’s not only a better clitoral stimulator in terms of how it performs, but it’s also a much better deal.

Thanks to Babeland for giving me the opportunity to review the Laya Spot. Check them out to see their full selection of bestselling vibrators.

I have never owned a dildo before. I know, I also find that hard to believe, but I think that when women first start to test the waters when it comes to sex toys and what they will like, that they very often choose to start out with vibrators–and then sometimes it’s hard to branch out into other types of sex toys once you realize how well vibrators work for both internal and external stimulation. But I’ve always been very curious about dildos. I’ve seen many other people review dildos and say wonderful things about them and perhaps I’ve always thought that they may be too one-note for me to enjoy. I like a lot of stuff going on; I like penetration and I like vibration, so why branch out into the world of dildos when they seem to provide something less than other toys on the market?

I recently hooked up with Vibrators.com for a few reviews. You’ve already seen my review of the Taffy Tickler Water Buddy from them and that didn’t go so well, to say the least. So when the Blush Dildo arrived, the most-popular dildo on Vibrators.com, I might add, I hoped I would have better luck this time around. And boy did I.

First of all, it must be said that I have no idea how I have survived this long as a sexual being without owning a dildo and the Blush Dildo feels amazing.

The Blush Dildo is made by Doc Johnson and is UR3 “Ultra Realistic”–and it certainly feels it when it’s inside of you. When I first received this dildo (in a standard plastic package that can be popped apart at the top very easily), it felt very chalky in my hand. This is because toys made of this material are lightly dusted to maintain their texture. While it certainly didn’t feel “ultra realistic” in my hand, after thoroughly washing it, which you should always do with anything made of this material before even thinking of playing with it, it did feel a great deal softer.

It is called Blush because while it is very light purple in color overall, you can see through it and at the very top of the head, there is a “blush of color” which is light pink. It’s definitely pretty and as you can see from the images, it has a lot of really defined texture. Something that is very obvious when you pop open the plastic packaging is the scent. Yes, this dildo is scented and it kind of reminds me of perfume; but none just any perfume–perfume worn by a woman in her late 80′s. I was incredibly disappointed by this, especially since I distinctly remember scanning the product’s page on the website and saw nothing about it having an old lady perfume smell. Not only that, but the scent latches onto you. I did not use it the day I took the images of it that you see throughout this post and my hands still smelled very strongly of perfume and it is a dramatic turn-off. Luckily, it did not make my vagina angry, but if you have allergies to any chemicals used to create such a strong scent, you will either want to stay away from the Blush Dildo or use a condom over it.

The Blush Dildo is 7 inches in length with a 2 inch diameter. It is very girthy and at first I didn’t think it was going to be very comfortable at all. However, with a generous amount of water-based lube, it fit comfortably and felt great. If it were made from a harder material, it would definitely be bordering on too thick, but because it is so soft and able to bend and adjust to your body, it fills you but it isn’t painful and you don’t feel like it’s going to break you.

I am not very sensitive to texture, so I couldn’t feel all of the veins throughout this dildo without moving it very, very slowly, and even then only the most pronounced veins were felt. The best quality this dildo has however, is its head. It is one of the most amazing-feeling heads I have ever experienced from a toy and I think that alone is what made me immediately exclaim that it was one of my new favorite toys ever after having an amazing orgasm with it.

I used the Blush Dildo for the first time with my partner, who, after I told him how much I loved it, told me that it may not like it so much if I were left trying to maneuver it on my own. The reason for this? Well, because the Blush Dildo is really, really limp. It’s almost too limp and can definitely make you angry if you’re thrusting it vigorously and suddenly it pops out of you and plops around in your hand as you try to get it back in place, but can’t because you’re hand is now also slick with water-based lube. Luckily this wasn’t too much of a problem when I was using it on my own, but there was the occasional slippage. This dildo has some pretty big balls on it, which are great to grab onto for thrusting and the dildo is long enough that they won’t get in the way. What I found distinctly disappointing however, is again, the product description on the website. It claims that the Blush Dildo can stand up on its own “for more versatile play” and I can attest that no, no it cannot. The image above would have demonstrated its ability to stand up on its own, but even with my hand holding down the balls, the shaft just flops over almost completely.

To clean the Blush Dildo, which you should do before and after every single use, be sure to only use toy cleaner or a very mild antibacterial soap and warm water. The UR3 material is also very porous and can harbor bacteria, so be sure not to share this dildo with anyone and if you do, use a condom every time.

While I would much prefer the Blush Dildo be more firm and without the grandma scent, it was a respectable first dildo that I had a lot of fun with. Note I didn’t say first sex toy, because if a total beginner purchased this, they would definitely be intimidated by its width, but it’s a good dildo with a pretty astounding price tag of just $21.99.
