Soy Spacasso Foaming Body Scrub and Body Whip Review; It Will Make You Swoon!

Soy Spacasso Foaming Body Scrub I have never been so excited to help spread the word about a particular line of bath and body products as I am right now.

Recently, I had the opportunity and immense pleasure to indulge myself in some Soy Spacasso. As I have stated publicly numerous times (no really, numerous, numerous, numerous times), I have always found it remarkably easy to acquire a collection of bath and body products. I’ll try different formulas, different scents, the only constant I require is that it is good for my body. The way I see it is that if it’s going anywhere on my body, I would prefer to be able to pronounce the words on the label. I have tried a lot of different products from a lot of different companies, but I had never used a product that made me anticipate bathing just because I would be able to use the product again. Until now.

I was able to try out two Soy Spacasso products, so let’s start with the Foaming Body Scrub. I received the sweet vanilla sea salts foaming body scrub and it smells exactly like vanilla cake batter, and since there are countless companies out there making their millions from cake batter-scented products, this can only be a good thing. Every time I open the lid, the first thing I do is take a deep breath of the scent and it is amazing. Not just amazing, but I’d even go as far as to say that it is one of the best smelling body products I have tried. In fact, I was tempted to call the Soy Spacasso customer service line to boast about the scent of this body scrub while I was still in my bath tub.

Aside from the scent of the body scrub, because I can obviously go on about that alone for quite a while, the feeling of this body scrub on your skin is incredible. It is made with sea salt and because this is a body scrub, the texture is very thick. When rubbed into your skin, you can feel it scrubbing those calloused and dry spots on your skin right away. While the product is thick and full of sea salt, it rinses away easily and leaves your skin feeling remarkably smooth.

Soy Spacasso Body Whip Because I don’t like to mix my scents, I also received the Soy Spacasso Body Whip in vanilla breeze. What came as a surprise to me is that after using two vanilla-scented products one after the other, the scents never became overpowering. While I’m sure the scent of the foaming body scrub could seem a little powerful when you’re using it, especially if you’re trying to devour the scent through your nose like I find myself doing every single time I bathe, once you are out of the bath tub, dressed, and going about your day, you will notice that the scent of the product is still there. However, it’s just the right amount of fragrance and it stays with you all day long making you smell phenomenal.

Soy Spacasso offers an even greater variety of products in addition to body whips and foaming body scrubs; they also have lip balm, anti-aging face cream, and even a line of products just for the men in our lives called MANSTYLE, making them a complete unisex company!

I will most definitely be visiting Soy Spacasso again and again; they proved to me that when you find something as good as this, there’s no way you’re giving it up.

I received the Soy Spacasso Foaming Body Scrub and Body Whip for review. No other compensation was received, and opinions are my own.

Piggy Paint Finally Makes Non-Toxic, Kid-Friendly Nail Polish a Reality

Piggy Paint Any parent knows that young children mimic the adults in their lives and that goes double for daughters. If you’re getting a manicure or just lounging around in front of the television painting your nails in the mere vicinity of your daughter, you know it’s a matter of mere moments before they are asking for their nails to be done too.

Understandably, a lot of parents are weary about applying nail polish to the fingernails of their children. Children have a tendency to bite their fingernails and standard nail polishes are loaded with all sorts of chemicals. Definitely not something you want on your children’s fingers!

Piggy Paint has made a safe, water-based, non-toxic, odorless nail polish completely safe for children. I was absolutely thrilled to discover Piggy Paint because we all know what an inconvenience it is to have to put up with the odor of standard nail polishes and when there’s a foul odor, chances are whatever is giving off that odor isn’t the safest of products. Because Piggy Paint is water-based, you can officially say goodbye to foul nail polish odors and toss your worries about inhaling toxic fumes or ingesting toxic chemicals if you or your daughter bite your nails or scrape the nail polish off with your teeth (I know, I’ve been there.)

Piggy Paint Coming in a variety of colors and also adorable gift packs with equally as adorable names like Girls Rule! and Toe-Tally Fancy, Piggy Paint is everything I was expecting and more. The only minor problem I have had with their nail polishes is that the color chipped very easily, but it is explained on the website that because Piggy Paint nail polishes are water-based, it does take longer for it to dry and harden on your fingernails and if you run into the problem of the color chipping too easily for your liking, it is recommended that you use a blow dryer on warm/low heat on your finger nails for a full 60 seconds after applying. Piggy Paint also has non-toxic, odorless, and hypoallergenic nail polish remover, so they really do attend to all of your nail polish needs!

Piggy Paint gift packs make excellent gifts or even a small, sweet surprise the next time you’re painting your nails and your daughter demands that she must have pretty nails too. I put a Piggy Paint nail polish in each of my stepdaughter’s Easter baskets this year, so you really can purchase these for just about anything and they will be an absolute treasure to both you and your children. Even better, no one can complain that the stench from your nail polish is making them nauseous.

Make Informed Decisions While Shopping Online

With the world’s population now doing the bulk of their shopping online and the people of the US, specifically, going through the first hurdle of a recession, we are now beginning to see the impact money makes on our lives and more importantly, the real value of a dollar. As a freelancer, I, along with other freelancers have spoken about how we feel the decline in income first and we have collectively been seeing the first few waves of an impending recession for months now. As someone who also shops online quite frequently, I have become a bit pickier about how and where I spend the money I do manage to earn.

Many stores will do the first leg of a sale online only, before it hits stores and they have also released online only coupon codes. Internet sales are important to companies and the convenience of online shopping is important to us. That is why I was thrilled to have come across a website that I have come to refer to as the bible of cheap online shopping.

Free is a website that tells you what stores are currently having promotions and where you can get the convenience of free shipping. You may come across a sale item on a store’s website but once you get through the checkout and look at the shipping costs you soon realize that while you did get a product a lot cheaper online than you would have at the store, you end up paying what you supposedly saved and then some just in shipping costs. Free lists the stores you want to shop at, the free shipping promotion they are running at the time and the promotional codes letting you save as much money as possible.

Free Shipping

Their site is set up into several different categories containing over 800 stores so each and every single person who likes the convenience of online shopping should not miss out on any free shipping promotion. Free also gives you the added security of free shipping alerts, letting you know every time a store has a free shipping promotion.

Don’t spend more money than you have to when shopping online and visit Free for free shipping promotions at your favorite stores.

The Worst Wedding Cake Toppers

Some weddings are casual, some weddings are extravagant. Some weddings have themes, some weddings have…absolutely horrible wedding cake toppers. Have a look at just some of the tackiest and tasteless cake toppers out there.

Click the thumbnails for larger picture.

island cake topper Even if you’re celebrating your wedding on the beach, on a tropical island or if your wedding happens to be beach or island themed, there is no excuse for a couple to be making out on top of your wedding cake and especially not for $56.95.

stripper cake topper This wedding cake topper screams “Hooray, it’s a wedding! But wait! First, I have to finish my shift at the strip club.” While I think that custom-made cake toppers are an amazing thing that I think more couples will be attracted to, but perhaps reserve the stripper decoration for the bachelor party.

shopping cake topper There’s cute and humorous and then there’s poking fun at the female gender, which I could really do without. All I get from this cake topper is the idea of a bunch of men sitting around a card table complaining about their wives and how they are always shopping–And I could use a little less of that.

tractor cake topper Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t find the romanticism in a cake topper where the bride and groom are atop a tractor. The song ‘She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy’ pops into my head and I can’t help but start to giggle. Not only that, but I can also picture cows; lots and lots of cows.

bed cake topper There’s nothing like inviting your wedding guests into your wedding bed. After seeing the cake, your guests are going to be thinking about nothing but honeymoons, wedding lingerie and sex. On second thought, perhaps that isn’t a completely bad thing–Your honeymoon should most definitely be exciting, why not give your guests the same luxury?

Fixing Those Crazy Bra Problems

Every woman out there knows about all of the pesky bra problems we go through. Whether you’re falling out of your bra or it fits half of your bust, with all of the different makes and models of bra on the market now, you have options to ensure that you never fall victim to those annoying bra problems.

If your bra gapes at the top, as shown in the picture above, you should most definitely try a different style of bra that will fit your bust completely and also show it off a little. When your bra has some extra fabric at the top, the best style of bra to try then is a demi.

Strapless bras are the most uncomfortable, problematic bras on the market; I am absolutely convinced of that, since every bra I have ever purchased personally have done the same thing–Slip down and expose almost my complete bust and dig into my sides at the same time. Like any other rational and logical person out there, I thought that purchasing a strapless bra was pretty much the exact same as buying a regular bra when it came to the size. However, I have recently learned that when buying strapless bras, it is better to buy a bra that is one size smaller in the back and one size bigger in the cup, making your bust look supported and shapely.

Want that little something extra to show off while wearing a new, low cut top? If you’re looking for cleavage, your answer is in a molded bra with extra padding added to it to give the illusion of a bigger bust which then moves your actual bust up and creates the cleavage you’ve been dying for. However, keep in mind to never, ever, ever put a molded bra in the dryer–The heat will warp its shape and instead of having that nice, smooth shape, you’ll look like you just grabbed some tissues and stuffed them into your old bra.

If you’re like me and find that you are spilling over the top of your bra, no matter what style or company you buy from, the trick to fixing what makes you look like you have two busts is to get a full-coverage bra with a cross seam to support your breasts–You will have a lot more confidence, too!

It is important to upgrade your bra wardrobe once a year. Because anything from medication, menstruation, weight loss, weight gain and so on can affect the size and fullness of your bust, you should most definitely get into the habit of upgrading your bras. And hey, now you have an excuse to splurge a little on sexy new bras and perhaps some matching panties–Because everyone knows a woman feels her sexiest when her undies are sexy.

Vote For Your Favorite Undies and Help Cervical Cancer Research

The Undie Awards I love underwear. Seriously, I cannot be within five feet of Victoria’s Secret or any store selling cute and sexy undies or I would go broke in minutes. I’ve owned pretty much all styles and types of bras and panties and if you’re like me, once you find that bra or panty that fits you the best and is the most comfortable, you love it to death–Literally, you will wear it until it develops holes and still consider keeping it. You may even go as far as to want to tell every other woman you come into contact with all about the bra that makes you feel incredible or the panties that you can wear with a tight skirt without any discomfort.

So I want to hear about your favorite undies. What are your favorite bras, panties, G strings, thongs, body shapers and so on? Not only do I want to wear about them, but I want you to vote in The Undie Awards.

The Undie Awards are where men and women can vote for their favorite undies by type, brand and style and once your vote is in, 25 cents is donated to cervical cancer research. The voting is completely anonymous, all you have to do is provide your email address after you cast your votes and the only information The Undie Awards have about you is that and your body type.

Anti-Aging Miracle: No More Needles or Doctors

facial yoga For many people who are worried about aging, wrinkles or laugh lines, Botox and plastic surgery have been quick and easy fixes for most on the path to looking their best. But now, for those who are petrified of needles (such as myself–it’s a phobia,) don’t like doctors or don’t like the idea of plastic surgery, yoga enthusiasts are now swearing by a new way to not only look younger, but to fee younger and better about your appearance.

Facial yoga has been deemed the “natural Botox” and is being used by many yoga enthusiasts as a daily exercise. By making theatrical expressions and stretching and training your face in your daily exercise routine, in your spare time or while doing household tasks, within as little as a few session you can start to see not only the lines on your forehead and under your eyes fading, but you can also see the stress that most people carry in their faces cease.

Annelise Hagen, author of The Yoga Face: Eliminate Wrinkles with the Ultimate Natural Facelift, conducts weekly facial yoga classes and developed her own facial yoga techniques that she teaches to her clients.

Hagen’s facial exercises include the Smiling Fish (purse your lips and smile slightly), the Marilyn (blow kisses while keeping your forehead smooth) and the Satchmo (puff out your face and transfer air from cheek to cheek).

Not only can yoga make you look and feel better about yourself and your appearance, it has also been used to train injured faces to move again after an injury or stroke and is also said to help sharpen your mind. Above all, it can help bring out that inner child in you that doesn’t get to come out and play very often. Making theatrical and hilarious faces in the mirror can do wonders for your spirit.

Do You Know What’s in Your Cosmetics?

L'Oreal cosmetic display Very few people read the list of ingredients on the back of a cosmetics box. If you’re animal-friendly, you may check to see if there is a line that reads “not tested on animals,” which is most of the time at the bottom of the box, but not too many people read through the list of ingredients printed on their beauty products. In the same respect, what do all those grossly large and confusing words mean anyway?

If the word squalene seems familiar to you, it probably is. Squalene is a very common emollient used in beauty products such as lotions, creams and glosses and is used by big name companies such as L’Oréal Paris. However, squalene is being phased out of cosmetic products as of late due to the vast decline in numbers of deep-sea sharks.

Squalene, which has been an in demand ingredient for beauty products is found in large quantities in the livers of deep-sea sharks and due to the sharks being caught and killed purely for this ingredient, cosmetic companies are seeking the aid of olive extracts to replace the deep-sea shark liver oil. However, if all companies switch to olive extracts, simple supply and demand may be in trouble, as there are only so many olives to go around to big companies.

In 2006, L’Oréal eliminated squalene from their skin care products replacing it with a plant-based substitute and plan to eliminate the ingredient from 12 other lipsticks that they produce. Asian-based cosmetic companies may not be going the same route, though, as shark squalene still remains in very high demand.

So the next time you’re picking up your favorite skin care item, lipstick or gloss and you see squalene listed in the ingredients you can now say you not only know what it means, but know that the company has decided to continue to use deep-sea shark oil in their product and have not opted for either olive extracts or plant-based substitutes. Help eliminate the cause for concern over the dwindling numbers of deep-sea sharks.
