I have learned over the years that although trends come and go, they never come back “exactly” the same. I also believe that women need to purge their closets and refresh their wardrobes with a few new items at least once a year. If you haven’t worn it in a year, get rid of it.

Although we saw this trend first pop up as far back as August, it didn’t necessarily stick, especially since the celebrity seen setting this trend was Katie Holmes struggling for whatever she could salvage from her post-marriage career.

Boyfriend jeans have recently been named as one of the first fashion trends of 2009 after being seen on several different high end celebrities.
