Caught: Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart Twilight’s Kristen Stewart was recently photographed smoking a bowl on her front porch. The internet has been crazy the past few days with people speculating about it… I figured it was time to put in my two cents.

Leave the poor girl alone, for Christ’s sake! She’s an eighteen year old in California. It’s okay for everyone to gather on Hippie Hill and smoke bongs all day, but this girl can’t sit on her front porch and toke a tiny bowl? Why? Because it doesn’t make her a good role model?

Bullshit. Millions of people smoke pot – tons of celebrities included (Johnny Depp, Charlize Theron, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, I could go on for days…) – and it doesn’t make them any less human.

So what if it’s illegal? There are only 13 states that prescribe marijuana, legally, as a medication. That hasn’t stopped anyone in the other 37 states, has it? (Go ahead and act like you’ve never smoked pot before.) You’re only making a big deal out of it because she’s newly famous.

Get off her back. Let her make her own decisions. She’s a big girl; I’m sure she can deal with the consequences.

It is time to drop this story and not to try to generate more publicity on her expense. She is a very young, and a very sensitive person who was thrown into this media marketing frenzy. Unfortunately her female role collided with the OMG Rob craziness and obsessed famale fans of the OMG ROB marketing machine. She was completly ignored as a leading actor and her achivements as well. How easy to ignore that she fought for casting Robert Pattison as Hadwicke admitted (not too willingly), fought with producers, a horrible script etc. As a film critic put it “it was almost an embarrassment to watch her – this was an actress doing some very delicate, interesting work in a film with a script WAY beneath her” As Pattison admitted, he was a complete mess and Kristen had to set things right. Interestingly it is not publicized that he was completley neurotic during the whole shooting and Kristen was the one helped him though his hysterics, carried the responsibility by herself. Sadly, she got completely sidlined, ridiculed or just ignored. No one stood up for her. But what its even worse is that women practically crucified her. It is a case study how women can be more cruel than men. Shame on every famele who participeted in this frenzy and shame on those who clapped when MR. Pattison shook his dandruff. They are so stupid that they did not even realized that he made fun of them all the time. But he got what he wanted even if the price was to make a clown of himself. No he is the “official” star. Good for him. Good for Hollywood. But what about Kristen Stewart… Shame on the media unprofessionalism. None of them recognized Kristen Stewart difficult position and how she tried to survive under these circumstances. It’s pretty crazy nowadays to be a star… people just wont leave you alone. I pity the poor gal… she is probably suffering from too much pressure from the media and all. I do hope she will look for a healthier outlet to release her stress…

I agree. If the worst she does is smoke a little pot than she’s miles ahead of most of the young stars in Hollywood these days!

You know what, big deal. Everybody smokes pot, most of us anyways, for sure.

It’s just a way to get media attention, and an excuse to get some advertising in their segments. And the cops get to meet their quota.

It will be legal soon I’m sure.

I find it funny how people were surprised by this. I always thought her appeal as an actress is because she looks like a stoner!

But seriously, like it has already been said, if this is the worst she does then she is way ahead of everyone else in hollywood.
