Celebrity Baby News!

There has been a lot of celebrity birthing going on and while I would love a million dollar pay day for a picture of my kids I am not sure I could endure the media circus that goes along with it.
First up, Bragelina news. The twins are here; I am pretty sure you don’t live under a rock and know ths already. While I am sure they will soon be as adorable as Little Miss Shiloh, right now I am sure they resemble something closer to aliens. Knox Leon had a birth weight 5lbs 3 oz and his sister Vivienne Marcheline was 5lbs even. The twins names are mostly inspired by family members. Knox is a family name on the Pitt side; while Leon, Latin for lion, was Jolie’s great-great grandfather’s name. Vivienne means life and Marcheline is the name of Jolie’s late mother.
Nicole Kidman’s Sunday was born on a Monday. Rumor has it they won’t be selling the baby pictures so expect the paparazzi pictures in a few weeks. The baby’s full name is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and she weighed 6lb 7.5oz. Keith Urban has told reporters that Sunday’s name was inspired by Sunday Reed who was a prominent patron of the arts in Victoria.
Jamie Lynn is already gracing the cover of OK mag with her million dollar mistake. Welcome to the world Maddie Brainn. But could someone please explain the extra N to me?
Also gracing the covers of OK mag is Jessica Alba. Honor Marie Warren was born over a month ago, but we finally get to officially see her and find out the story behind the name. Alba had always felt that the name Jessica was very bland while growing up. Cash says Honor looks like a mixture of both her parents. He continued saying, “I want her to look like me, because a daughter looking like Jessica, I’d kill myself!”
And generally what is up with these celebrity baby names? Are they just amazingly more creative and daring than us regular folk? Or are they just condemning their kids to a life of misery?

Really like the names that Brad and Angelina came up with, not so impressed by Jamie Lynn’s choice.
I think that there must be a lot of pressure to choose a name that is creative and makes a statement but at the same time tasteful and enduring. So much pressure in general on celebrity parents! Parenting is hard enough without all of the focus and limelight!

I don’t know how I feel about celeb baby names, but they usually do have to be something unique. I haven’t seen Jessica Alba’s baby picture until now. She is a cutie! Has everyone else been hearing the bad rap Jessica is getting about her baby weight? It’s sad.

We are seeing some serious Hollywood baby boom. Tori Spelling also gave birth recently - to a girl with a normal name - Stella.Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie also gave birth this year. And don’t forget J.Lo’s twins - do you think that they sold the pics too? I wouldn’t be surprised… And now we’re waiting for Gwen Stefany’s baby to arrive. Next are Mat Damon and Ben Affleck’s babies. Wow! That’s a lot of babies

YAY for celebrity baby news! I also just read on People.com that photos of Brangelina’s twins will be released on Sunday! So excited!

I like Brangelina’s twins names. Not so weird but unique enough. And there’s nothing wrong with Jamie Lynne’s baby’s name. Maddie is completely fine… don’t know about the BRAINN though! Sunday is really pushing it… But I think the worse is Honor. Can you imagine asking for the welfare of the child? How’s your Honor doing? Sounds like you’re in court.
