I’m a Coppertone Water Mom and Ready for Fun in the Sun! #coppertonewatermoms

Coppertone Water Mom

If you have taken a look through our sidebar recently, you may have noticed that there is a fancy new brand ambassadorship badge courtesy of Coppertone, signifying my involvement with the brand as a Coppertone Water Mom. This new partnership is super exciting and really couldn’t have come at a better time.

Back in February, my fiance and I moved into our own home, which has drastically changed how we live our lives day-to-day. Don’t worry, our new environment has changed us for the better. Much, much better. After living in apartments for years, suddenly we have a three-story house and a huge yard to take care of, and in that huge yard is a 5-foot, above-ground pool that has become the focal point of the family gatherings and small get-togethers we have already had so far this summer.

Every family needs a comprehensive sun protection routine, and Coppertone has really helped me keep my family safe in the sun by providing me with an awesome Under the Sun Fun Pack and information regarding sun safety and the importance of year-round sun protection. Through this program I will have the opportunity to share so much with you, including crucial sun safety tips, fun summer outdoor activities for the whole family, recipes, and information on how to keep your family safe when out in the sun and shielded from UVA/UVB rays with Coppertone products.

Coppertone is the #1 pediatrician recommended brand of sunscreen. Their Coppertone Water BABIES Foaming Lotion and Coppertone Wet ‘n Clear Kids Continuous Spray has already helped take the worry out of having fun in the sun when my stepdaughters are here swimming in the pool all day and running around the yard when the weather is hot and humid because I know that they are totally protected from harmful sun rays and won’t get sunburn. Coppertone Water BABIES is also non-irritating, tear-free, and water resistant for up to 80 minutes with broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection.

    1. It is incredibly difficult not to put off everything I have to get done and instead jump in the pool on a particularly hot and humid day, I can tell you that!

  1. I’m all about protecting my skin, since I’m as fair as they come…but I’m also very conscious about what I put on my skin. Since our skin is the largest organ we have, and the one that soaks up everything we put on it, I very rarely use sunscreen or lotion. I prefer to use my own homemade sunscreen, which has proven to be far more effective to me personally. if you’re interested, I would seriously look into the studies about sunscreen and the increase in skin cancer from using it. This is a great place to start to find a lot of the information. http://wellnessmama.com/2558/natural-homemade-sunscreen-recipe/

  2. We so need a pool but then I would have to get in it everyday with the kids. 🙁 That is the only bad part. They don’t know how to swim yet and are still a little too young. 4 & 6

    1. You can consider this an open invitation to come for a swim whenever you’d like. In fact, if you ever find yourself in the Northeastern, Pennsylvania area, you are always more than welcome!
