Happy October, everyone! October is a lot of fun, particularly because it is full of excitement and preparation for Halloween–and I really, really love Halloween! So what better way to kick start all that excitement than with a spooky, hilarious, vampire-filled giveaway?
On October 2nd, Warner Bros. Pictures will release Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows starring Johnny Depp on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Based on the classic television series, Dark Shadows is the story of Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp), a man who is rich, powerful, and an inveterate playboy who has the world at his feet–or at least the town of Collinsport, Maine. That is, until he breaks the heart of Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green). A witch in every sense of the word, Angelique casts an evil spell on Barnabas, turning him into a vampire and then burying him alive. When inadvertently freed from his tomb two centuries later, Barnabas suddenly finds himself in the year 1972, and after returning to his old manor, he finds that his once grand estate has since fallen into ruin and now he must find a way to save his family’s business.
With an all-star cast that includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Chloe Grace Moretz, Jonny Lee Miller, and more, Dark Shadows is sure to whet your appetite for fun.
