Most people think that it is so hard to go green but there are plenty of simple and easy things to do that can make a definite change. You point out some really easy ways to be more green such as walking and biking places that are close to home rather than driving. Also, recycling at home does not take that much effort but is completely worth it.

I agree it all starts with education. Imagine when you are growing up, you learn a whole new language and use it for the rest of your life. Si imagine if our parents had installed an ethos of green living from birth, we would all be environmentally friendly and carbon neutral, right?!

I love the idea of riding a bike more! Walking's great too, if you can manage. Apart from that education and awareness are definitely the key. Great list!

these days, many countries has realized how very meaningful to go green. but on the other side, i still have a little trouble. it's about my neighbour who always put his garbage in my backyard door. i had try to talk with him, but he still did that again. please advice..

The way I see it, doing a bit all the time and making it part of your daily life is better than making big gestures once a year because media tells us to. Now, days like Earth Day are great to remind us of why we are doing it and give us a chance to think up new things to do (like New Year's resolutions) but the fact of the matter is, every day needs to be Earth Day!

Seeing more people getting eco-conscious gives me hope...

I agree with you and I think it's important that people start doing things green as their normal daily routine instead of when they happen to have time or remember (of course that's better than nothing).

I finally became green conscious. I think because now it's easier to be green. It sounds bad but the more convenient being green is the more it will be utilized.
