It does seem like alternative stone choices to diamonds are becoming more and more common these days but I’m curious to know how many people actually choose these other stones over diamonds. I don’t know anyone personally who has received an alternatively designed engagement ring.

I can\’t help but stifle a giggle when I remember helping out my brother in the same predicament. If you can also extend to your friend the advice that I gave my brother: go online. My brother did. Not only did he get his money\’s worth for the James Allen diamond engagement ring he got for his fiance, he also learned that a solitaire diamond need not be the end all and be all of engagement rings- you can tweak the design a bit and add sidestones with it. All these without throwing away much cash. What a treat!

I totally agree. I also went on a Jewelry show and I think that a James Allen diamond engagement ring is just as beautiful- if not better. I like their wide selection of designs that you can choose from. You may select one that best suits you and the quality that reflects your discriminating taste.

Tacori has gorgeous rings. I recently went to the Jewelry Show in Las Vegas and they were exhibiting. They have really stunning looking pieces, but can be quite expensive.
