Sex toys that penetrate are a lot of fun, from dildos and even most vibrators, when I go through my arsenal of toys, most of the time I opt for something penetrable. But sometimes it’s refreshing to go back to basics–back to hand-to-body stimulation and regardless of whether you’re with a partner or playing solo, you’re sure to have a lot of fun with the Fukuoku 9000.
Measuring at about 2 3/4″ in length with 1 1/2″ insertable, The Fukuoku 9000 is a small, single-speed finger vibrator that packs just enough of a punch with its vibrations to make it the perfect choice for newbies looking for something small and discreet to add a little spice to traditional finger masturbation, as well as for experienced couples looking for a fun toy to enhance foreplay, as well as intercourse.
It is made of hard plastic and fits very easily and comfortably over your finger. The finger fitting ring adjusts with the size of your finger and will fit fingers of all sizes. It takes a great deal of movement to get the Fukuoku to slip off your finger or slide around; for the most part, it stays snugly in its place on your finger. It comes with three different non-toxic, silicone tips that slide over the plastic vibrator–one is smooth with a circular pattern, the other is ribbed and the last is nubbed. All are slightly different in texture and feel distinct to the touch when you slide the tip of your finger, but I found that when you are in the heat of the moment, especially when using the Fukuoku for clitoral stimulation, you really can’t tell the difference from one tip to the next.
What appealed to me about the Fukuoku from the get go was the ways you could implement it into your sex life; it really does have a wide range of uses. Firstly, it feels great when used as you would normally use your finger during masturbation. It definitely enhances your solo or partnered foreplay experience if you glide the vibrator around the labia, as well as on your clit directly. It also feels amazing when used for breast and nipple play. This is also a very unisex toy; my partner has enjoyed the Fukuoku on his balls, as well as on his frenulum and when used just to stimulate up and down the penis, he found that it provided a deep sense of relaxation and it was also able to arouse him significantly. I wasn’t impressed by the strength of the vibrations that the Fukuoku gives, but I also wasn’t disappointed. Overall, the strength of the vibrations are good enough for some awesome foreplay with a partner and it also gives you that little something extra when masturbating on your own, but the vibrations were not enough to bring me to climax or even very close; what it did was make me extremely aroused and ready to get lucky, which makes me sway more in the direction of the Fukuoku being used more as a foreplay toy as well as during intercourse to stimulate your clit. As far as the noise level goes, it is very quiet and is definitely safe to use in a house full of people behind a closed door.
If you want to use lube with the Fukuoku to make everything a bit more slippery and comfortable, be sure to use water-based lube because the interchangeable tips are made of silicone. To clean, just wash the tips off with soap and warm water and a soft cloth and you’re good to go. The Fukuoku takes two watch batteries that are included; they are extremely easy to put into the vibrator, just slide the plastic cover off of the front of the vibrator and the two old watch batteries will pop right out and they pop in just as easily. The vibrator, tips and extra watch batteries all fit inside the accompanying faux leather pouch, which makes great and discreet storage. It’s also a lifesaver if you have a good amount of toys that are all kept in one area so you can keep everything that belongs with the Fukuoku together. The pouch also makes this vibrator extremely discreet and perfect to travel with.
The Fukuoku 9000 is a handy little toy that will add a significant amount of spice to your sex life, but fails to be the main attraction. My partner has gotten a great deal more use out of this vibrator than I have, which leads me to believe this is the toy to introduce to a partner who is not usually as excited as you are about the prospect of sex toys.
