Green Giant Giant Difference

I have a thing for veggies, I always have. As a kid, I didn’t have to be tricked, bribed, or fought to eat the serving of vegetables on my plate. I ate them without a peep, other than to ask for seconds, and I would have gladly eaten my weight in green beans if given the chance.

As an adult, my love of all things vegetable hasn’t changed a bit, and living with a health issue that mandates I eat several small meals and snacks throughout the day has only increased my vegetable consumption.

Green Giant frozen boxed vegetables makes getting your daily veggies even easier. I no longer have to go any further than my freezer for a generous serving of vegetables to stave off hunger and keep my body fueled and energized, while also helping me manage my weight. Eating frequently throughout the day is a necessity for me, but I also have to be sure that I am making smart decisions about what those meals and snacks consist of.

Green Giant is on a mission to help people realize they no longer need to sustain a life of less in order to be good to their bodies or manage their weight. You can eat lots more vegetables and feel satisfied, while knowing you are giving your body the valuable nutrients it needs to thrive.

Green Giant cauliflower & cheese sauce

My favorite Green Giant frozen boxed vegetable variety is the Cauliflower & Cheese Sauce. Seriously, I get hardcore cravings for this throughout the day, no matter what time it is.

My grandmother used to make me steamed cauliflower with cheese sauce when I was a kid and it’s great to know that this variety is low in calories, despite being utterly loaded with creamy, delicious cheese, and that I will be full and satisfied after eating it.

  1. I take my vitamins, drink my protein, and try to drink lots of clear fluids and get good sleep. I don’t always succeed at all four of those, but 2-3 out of 4 isn’t bad, right? 😉

  2. I try and eat right don’t always happen with my active lifestyle. I do get enough sleep and drink plenty water to even things out :D.

  3. I eat 100% whole grains & lean meats. I add fruits & veggies when I can and lots of Greek lowfat yogurt. I also try to exercise 3-4 times a week!

  4. I try to incorporate more vegetables into my diet. It can sometimes be difficult when you live a hectic lifestyle, but I try. Thank you.

  5. Drink lots of water, take vitamins, get enough sleep, and don’t worry about things I have no control over!!!

  6. I am not a healthy eater at all, but I love corn, peas and green beans for veggies. I try to eat as healthy as possible on my budget and with having to make 2 meals every night – because my daughter won’t eat what I do and I CAN’T eat what she does LOL.

  7. I try to always remember to have breakfast daily, and pick whatever looks the smallest & healthiest on the menu when we go to restaurants.

  8. I never practice unsustainable diets. I don’t starve myself or completely deprive myself of foods I enjoy. I know dieting the wrong way leads me to crash. I work to balance a daily exercise routine with eating healthy foods (and less healthy foods in moderation). I give in to temptations just enough to squish any binge eating.

  9. No matter what my current diet is, I always try to be mindful of drinking enough water throughout the day. For me it’s really hard because I can have quite the taste for soda, but I know I feel better when I drink a lot of water.

  10. We like fresh fruit and veggies, here and like to snack on them raw. I also serve a veggie with our meals and we love corn and green beans here.

  11. I try to get enough sleep and exercise three times a week. I can do better on nutrition, though.

  12. Well, I have five Treeing Walker Coonhounds, so I take them for walks and run around our yard with them, playing. I’ve been drinking more water (and less pop) and eating more fruit and vegetables (and less red meat).

  13. I try to eat healthy and get enough exercise-doesn’t always work out for me-but at least i am trying 🙂

  14. I used to eat anything I wanted till I began learning about how food choices affect our well-being. I have started following the Food Pyramid and using hand weights

  15. I love all veggies with cheese sauce, At 100 calories, I would get my veggies with NO guilt. Adding the walking program to keep fit.
