If you have seen Sex And The City the series, you should already be laughing at the title of this post, looking back on fond, vintage SATC memories. For those of you who haven’t, on the show, conservative and reserved Charlotte was introduced to the Rabbit Habit by Miranda who had been gloating to the girls about how awesome it was. Taken aback at first, Charlotte wanted nothing to do with it, but after getting it home and trying it out, she quickly couldn’t get enough. She loved it so much in fact, that she feared she may be ruined for any man she may be with in the future because the Rabbit was just That. Damn. Good. And to tell you the truth, it’s very easy how one could have that fear after just the very first time trying this out.

The Rabbit Habit is a rabbit-style vibrator that is about 4 1/2 inches insertable and 1 1/2 inches in circumference. It is made of elastomer, making it body-safe, phthalates-free and compatible with water and silicone-based lubes, but also makes it very prone to picking up hairs, lint, fibers and anything else it can find; because of this, it’s ideal to wash with warm water and a light soap before and after every single use and keep it stored by itself in a small storage container or pouch, although it does not come with its own. It is smooth and soft to the touch and feels comfortable inside even while thrusting.

This vibrator has a few functions. The shaft twirls in a circular motion and also contains tracked pearls to stimulate the vaginal opening which feels incredible as you become more aroused and more sensitive. It also has a vibrating clitoral attachment, shaped like a cute rabbit (hence the “rabbit” in “rabbit-style vibrator”.) While the twirling shaft is meant for G-spot stimulation, I found that it isn’t long enough to reach mine and to rectify this problem, I have been inserting the pearls as well so they lay right inside, which also changes the position of the clitoral stimulator; the ears of the rabbit vibrating just above my clit while the face of the rabbit is held against me. Either way, it feels great and consistently gives me some of the most intense orgasms I’ve ever been able to experience to date.

This Rabbit Habit is an improved version of the original that had tumbling pearls instead of the tracked pearls. This improvement is supposed to stop the pearls from getting jammed, but I noticed that after quite a few uses (this is my favorite vibrator, so it gets a workout) my pearls stopped moving anyway. This could be because, as I previously mentioned, I had inserted the pearls so the shaft would hit my G-spot, but I have read many other reviews of this same version that report the same problem. The up-side of this particular predicament is that after your pearls have already jammed, it seems the shaft of the Rabbit can be bent and if you slightly adjust the shaft upwards, it can make reaching your G-spot a whole lot easier! This however is not an “Official Function”, so keep in mind that if you purchase this vibrator, it isn’t a good idea to immediately start bending it, since you can break your toy. If your toy is already broken, however, feel free to go crazy!

The Rabbit Habit is controlled by very easy-to-use sliders that deliver a range of intensity levels, making it great for those who can’t handle very intense vibrations as well as those who need a more powerful toy. One slider controls the twirling and beads while the other controls the vibration level of the clitoral attachment. Speaking of the controls, one of the worst qualities of this toy is that the face of the battery compartment, which is located on just the opposite side of the controls, comes loose with very minimal effort. Not just that, but if used vigorously when thrusting, it will come off completely, which can be incredibly annoying. This toy is not waterproof or water-resistant, which has made me downright paranoid when it comes to cleaning with soap and water, afraid the face of the battery pack will become loose or expose any part of the batteries.

When both the shaft as well as the clitoral attachment are turned on, especially full-force, the vibrator overall with lose a bit of power, but not enough to truly make a difference as far as reaching an orgasm is concerned because this baby really delivers!

The Rabbit Habit has become my go-to vibrator; what I grab when I need a quickie or have a good, long while to dedicate to myself. It delivers consistent, intense orgasms every single time and never lets me down.
