In addition to being the founder of Woman Tribune, Holly is a sporadic web designer and developer, enthusiastic lover of gaming, and wannabe baker. She lives in Northeast, PA with her fiance and two cats. She has been blogging on her progressive personal opinion blog, Menstrual Poetry, since 2007.
We went to see Madagascar 2 this weekend, we say the preview of Brave. Of course we drug hubby alone. He grinned and bared it. Ha ha I would like to see this as well. I love the animated movies they have great story lines and just enough undertones of adult humor. I think we will be sing Brave.
I am really excited about Brave, and I haven’t been excited for a Disney movie in quite a bit. I think it is pretty much the closest we are going to get to an ideal feminist-friendly role model for young girls, or at least that is what I am hoping it turns out to be.
Woman Tribune is a lifestyle and entertainment blog for women. We've been doing our thing since January 2008 and we like to think we've done a pretty fantastic job of being an honest and practical resource for women, regardless of their location or lifestyle.
