I’m a bit of a coffee snop myself, and I’m not sure I’m convinced. I’d rather deal with fresh grounds then a pre-packaged pod. I would like to try it though, before I jump to these conclusions.

That’s one cool-looking coffee maker!

I haven’t had a pod coffee maker in a while, because these days I have a lot of guests over so I like to make a big pot of coffee for everyone. But pods are great for individual servings, and they’re simple to use.

Everybody should be more careful with the coffee. I was reading about coffee and found this : “Drinking five or more cups of coffee a day increases the risk of having heart problems 2.8 times, according to researchers at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore. After correcting for other factors — such as age, smoking habits and hypertenstion — they found heavy coffee drinkers still have 2.5 times the incidence of coronary heart disease compared with nondrinkers”. So we need to be very careful.

The Senseo has a sleek and modern look, and it’s just as innovative on the inside. By using light pressure, the brewing process is faster than with regular drip machines. You can have a freshly-brewed cup of coffee in under 2 minutes. My old drip machine seems like a slow beast by comparison.
