Lindsay Lohan Ordered Back to Rehab Until 2011

Lindsay Lohan Lindsay Lohan appeared in court yet again Friday morning after leaving her court-ordered rehab stint at UCLA and failing two court-mandated drug tests while on probation, testing positive for cocaine and Adderall. You’ll remember that Lohan last appeared in Judge Elden Fox‘s court at the end of September and was immediately taken into custody. That jail sentence lasted less than 24 hours due to her underlying offense being a misdemeanor and being entitled to bail, which the judge had not offered up at the time of sentencing. After Lohan was released from jail this last time, she checked into the Betty Ford Center and remained there until her court date on Friday morning.

And the verdict? Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to rehab until at least January 3, 2011 and will not be going back to jail. Well, not this time, at least. At the time of sentencing, the judge said to Lindsay, “You are an addict. I hope you understand that. I don’t want another train wreck.” Lindsay nodded her head in agreement.

Lohan is due back in court on February 25 and between the time she is released from rehab and her court date, she will be subject to drug testing. If she does not test positive for drugs or alcohol during that time, her sentence will be converted to unsupervised probation.
