New ‘Frozen Fever’ Short Will Premiere Before Disney’s ‘Cinderella’ March 2015

Frozen Fever

In news that will no doubt send “Frozen” fans into a frenzy (I can just imagine Rosie O. on “The View” tearing up hearing about it), Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf are returning to the big screen!

No, “Frozen 2” hasn’t been officially confirmedĀ — yet — but this news is pretty much the next best thing. An all-new short film, “Frozen Fever” reunites the cast of “Frozen” for the first time since the movie premiered Thanksgiving 2013 — and quickly became the highest grossing animated film of all time.

In “Frozen Fever,” it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.

“Frozen Fever” will premiere in theaters in front of Disney’s “Cinderella” March 13, 2015.

Cinderella

A live-action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale, “Cinderella” brings to life the timeless images from Disney’s 1950 animated masterpiece as fully-realized characters in a visually-dazzling spectacle for a whole new generation.

“Cinderella” stars Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden, and Helena Bonham Carter.

Here are three new character posters from the movie:

Cinderella Ella and Prince

Cinderella Fairy Godmother

Cinderella Wicked Stepmother

“Cinderella” opens in theaters everywhere March 13, 2015, with “Frozen Fever” premiering immediately beforehand.
