Pin-Up Panty Review from Babeland

Pin Up Panty I haven’t reviewed that many pieces of lingerie, which you can see very well for yourself if you look into our lingerie and apparel category. I have been very disappointed by “one size fits most” items, or apparel that comes in two sizes without any real, accurate size chart. But I’ve been looking for a pair of really cute ruffle panties for quite some time now and when I saw the Pin-Up Panty on Babeland, they were practically perfect–still are.

These panties are exceptionally cute. They are black boyshort-hipster style panties, made of nylon and spandex with an elastic waistband. They are covered mostly with black lace ruffles and have a tiny petal pink bow in the center of the waistband. The black lace ruffles cover every inch of these panties except for the crotch area, which are sheer and able to see through, but just slightly, due to them being black and not a lighter color that you would be able to see through more easily.

Pin Up Panty packaging The Pin-Up Panty arrived in a small, phenomenally cute black and pink box that is modeled after a dresser drawer. While the box looks a little large in the picture to your right, it is about as big as my hand with my fingers able to curl around the top of the box. A smaller pink box inside slides out where the panties are folded inside.

The panties are available in small (23″ to 34″ hip) and large (26″ to 38″ hip). If you haven’t measured your hips recently, or do not know how wide your hips measure exactly, I would suggest that if you are larger than a size 16, or have wider hips, you may want to pass on these. When I unfolded them from the packaging, they looked like they wouldn’t just fit, but may be a bit roomy. However, you probably know how deceiving an article of clothing or piece of lingerie can be when you look at it and when you try to put it on. These panties just fit my hips. They are tight, or tight enough for the elastic waistband to start digging into my sides, which would have been horrible because after a little while, that begins to hurt like hell, but they were very obviously just a few inches from not fitting. Luckily, however, they do fit–and they look awesome.

I really like the Pin-Up Panty; they feel comfortable to wear even for extended periods of time, and they look great. My only problem with them is that after a few wears and washes, my little pink bow in the front of the waistband has begun to fray and the stitches keeping it on looks as if they’re going to break or give out in another few wears. Other than that, my expectations of them were met and now I finally have a pair of ruffle panties I really like!
