When me and my wife got married we hired professionals to do the organizatory things for us. We still needed to look after every detail, but this was a huge relief to our families to have the support from professionals. Good luck to anyone who is getting married this year!

I recently just had my wedding and went through the whole registry process, it can be quite difficult to figure out what you want to include and what you don't want to include. The "I Do Sugar" was a great PDF that I used to help as well as using My Wedding and Wedding Channel, which are also both wedding sites that give advice on creating a wedding registry.

I would say that
1) Developing a budget saves a lot of stress
2) Decide what YOU want before you start talking to family members and your bridal party. Otherwise, everyone has some kind of problem with your choices.
3) Take care of everything as soon as you can. Make your favors early, make your programs early, anything that can be done in advance, do it! Don’t waste too much time and then spend the week before your wedding scrambling to get things done.
4) Don’t choose people for your bridal party who are irresponsible! It will save you so much grief! gudluck!!!
