Rachael Ray’s Vocal Cord Surgery

Rachael Ray underwent surgery to remove a benign cyst from her vocal cords last week.

She had planned to have this surgery some time ago, but canceled her previously scheduled surgery to alternatively begin intense vocal therapy. But after several months of therapy and on the advice of her doctors, she underwent the minor, non-invasive procedure. The surgery was a success and she has been resting at home.

Her rep stated that the hardest part for Rachael is going to be giving her voice a rest for the next week or so.
