New Sex And The City 2 Trailer is Here–and Guess Who’s Back!

As we approach the May 27th release date of Sex And The City 2, I thought I was just about as excited as I could be about seeing Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda together again; that is, until I saw this. Oh yeah, the new trailer has hit the scene.

Sex And The City 2 is living up to the expectations of us all. We get to see Stanford’s life advance a little bit with a wedding (and Carrie dressing up in a tux for the same-sex nuptuals), which is a treat since he was more of a background character in the first movie and any scene with Stanford is always a time for a full-belly laugh. Also, the most appropriate cameo in the movie is Liza Minnelli performing at Stanford’s wedding!

Carrie is left asking, “What happens after you say I do?” and we get to see bits and pieces of the answer unravel.

Carrie and Big’s wedding anniversary has come up, but with it has also come the settled down feeling that a lot of us are familiar with. With it, Carrie is trying to explain to Big that they need to find the sparkle in their married life. Meanwhile, Samantha has apparently turned to hormone therapy to avoid aging; a move we would definitely expect from Samantha. Charlotte realizes that being a parent maybe isn’t what she had anticipated, and Miranda is there to lend support to her when she feels as if she may be going crazy!

We know that the cast filmed in Morocco , but he find out that the girls have the opportunity to go to Abu Dhabi.

While there, we are reunited with Carrie’s former fiancĂ©, Aidan!

Yeah, I’ll say that last part again. It’s Aidan! Aidan is back! In Abu Dhabi! We get to see Aidan!

And while fans of the series are undoubtedly stoked about this, as Charlotte hints to in the trailer, perhaps Carrie gets a little over her head in the company of Aidan because playing with fire doesn’t sound too promising for the future of Carrie and Mr. Big.

So how about all of you out there. Are you as excited as I am about the upcoming Sex and the City 2?
