After the last 8 years, we know now how much damage has been done world-wide in our name and we deserved more than that then and we deserve that now. Many people would like to point out that Barack Obama has done nothing in his presidency thus far, which is completely untrue; he has already signed the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act ensuring that woman will have the ability to create lawsuits against their employers/ex-employers for receiving less pay for equal work. He has created a bonafide Council to focus on issues affecting women and girls, and he has also ended the funding ban for stem cell research. And those are just the top 3 off of the top of my head. He has definitely been impressive in his work for females in this country and I believe he will continue to be just as impressive throughout the rest of his presidency. The fact of the matter here and in many other people's minds is that we are in a recession, which some people are even starting to call a depression now, with home foreclosures and unemployment on the rise. Are we really only giving Obama 3 months to fix the entire economy that took more than 8 years to create? While sure, not all of our problems have evolved in the last 8 years, what the American people are so focused on right now are issues that have evolved in just those 8 years and it is going to take longer than 3 months to fix everything that has crumbled. As far as "all over the place partying" goes, come on. All presidents throughout history have attended get togethers of all kinds; the difference here is that most of our ex-presidents (not all, most) were not being looked at to fix the entire country.
