Imagine a place where nothing is impossible.

From Disney comes two-time Oscar winner Brad Bird’s riveting, mystery adventure “Tomorrowland,” starring Academy Award winner George Clooney.

Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world — and them — forever.

Tomorrowland

Featuring a screenplay by “Lost” writer and co-creator Damon Lindelof with Brad Bird, and from a story by Lindelof, Bird, and Jeff Jensen, “Tomorrowland” promises to take audiences on a thrill ride of nonstop adventures through new dimensions that have only been dreamed of.

The film also stars Hugh Laurie as brilliant scientist David Nix, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, and Judy Greer.

“Tomorrowland” opens in theaters on May 22, 2015.

Corey and Topanga are Back! New ‘Girl Meets World’ Trailer

Corey and Topanga are all grown up and still as charming as ever in the “Boy Meets World” spin-off “Girl Meets World,” coming soon to Disney Channel.

Girl Meets World

We’ve heard rumors about “Girl Meets World” for a while now, and nostalgia-racked millennials (including myself) have been squeeing in anticipation. The Disney Channel is sure to have a laugh when they see the spike in viewers ages 24-30.

There is no release date set for when the new family comedy is set to premiere, but we do have the very first trailer featuring Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel as parents to their tween daughter, Riley, played by Rowan Blanchard. The trailer also introduces Sabrina Carpenter as Maya, Riley’s best friend. Because what is a “Boy Meets World” spin-off without the best friend who is treated just as good as family?

Are you excited to see the new Matthews family?

Angelina Jolie is ‘Maleficent’ — Teaser Trailer, Movie Poster, and First Look Images

From Disney comes “Maleficent” — the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty.”

A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land’s fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal — an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king’s successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom — and perhaps to Maleficent’s true happiness as well.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood Take on Obamacare at 2013 CMA Awards

Regardless of your political leaning or affiliation, or your thoughts on the state of healthcare in the US and the Affordable Care Act (or as it has been dubbed, “Obamacare”) we can all agree that the healthcare.gov website has been a mess since it launched on October 20.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood CMA Awards

That is precisely why Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood’s skit on the famously under-functioning website during last night’s CMA Awards resonated with pretty much everyone, both in the audience and those at home.

Well, except for Taylor Swift. At the end of the host’s number, Taylor Swift looks flabbergasted and adorably confused in the way only Taylor Swift can.

Watch a Group of Little Girls Take Over a Toy Store and Demand Better Toys in GoldieBlox Ad

Meet GoldieBlox, your soon-to-be new favorite toy company for girls.

Toy stores are one of the single most thrilling places for any kid, coming in second only to maybe candy stores. But there are some real issues stacked on each and every shelf of the world’s toy stores. Always segregated by gender, the designated boys’ section of toy stores offer up immeasurable inspiration for thinking outside the box and creating new things, either by invention or building or both. Girls, on the other hand, can choose from dolls (and their endless high gloss pink accessories), kitchen playsets, Easy Bake Ovens, and fairytale princess costumes.

GoldieBlox believes our girls deserve more, and unleashed an adorable mob of little girls for their commercial to celebrate the toy company’s disruption of the pink aisle.

GoldieBlox

GoldieBlox was founded last year after a successful Kickstarter campaign by Debbie Sterling, an engineer with an education from Stanford University. The idea for the line came to her after being troubled by how few women were working by her side. Engineering sits at the forefront of solving major challenges in our society; it offers a high salary and great job security, yet the field is dominated by men, who make up 89% of working engineers. That is a big problem.

Offering young girls a much-needed female engineer role model that makes engineering and problem solving fun and accessible, GoldieBlox aims to nurture a generation of girls who are more confident, courageous, and tech-savvy, giving them a real opportunity to grow and directly contribute to the progress being made in the world by engineers.

The first toy to be released in this exciting new line is GoldieBlox and the Spinning Machine, available now in toy stores across the country and Canada, almost like a beacon of light and hope emitting from the otherwise constant sea of pink.

http://www.goldieblox.com/products/goldieblox-and-the-spinning-machine

GoldieBlox and the Spinning Machine is the debut story of Goldie, the girl inventor who loves to build.

In the book, Goldie decides to build a spinning machine to help her dog, Nacho, chase his tail. Soon, the whole gang wants in on the action. As girls watch Goldie build the spinning machine in the book, they can build their own using the construction set.

GoldieBlox has already been told that they cannot survive in mass stores next to Barbie, and that convention says engineering toys for girls are a “niche.” What a depressing outlook on the girls toy market today. That is precisely why it is so important to take on the responsibility of surrounding our girls with toys that will inspire them to believe that they can achieve great things, set out to do the so-called impossible, and do good in the world around them.

Vince Vaughn Knows Unconvential Families in ‘Delivery Man’ — Trailer Debut #DeliveryManMovie

Families come in all shapes and sizes. The way many families have evolved in recent years would surely have looked “unconventional” years ago, but we as a society have succeeded in blurring the notion of what used to be perceived as “normal,” which I think can only be a good thing, for all of us. But even the most unconventional families out there won’t look so bizarre after you see the family that forms around Vince Vaughn in his upcoming movie, “Delivery Man.”

Vince Vaughn plays an affable underachiever looking for his purpose in life when he finds out he has fathered 533 children through anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years ago. Now he must decide whether or not to come forward when 142 of them want to meet their biological father.

“Delivery Man” stars Vince Vaughn, Cobie Smulders, and Chris Pratt, and opens in theaters November 22.

We are thrilled to be one of the first 533 blogs (get it?) where you can view the trailer first.
