I received an email about this a few days ago and I thought that our readers here may be interested in this great opportunity!

A&W Diamonds are holding a Valentine’s Day poetry contest. If you are a poet–whether it be a hobby, profession, or maybe something you have always wanted to try your hand at and never did–if you are the author of the poem and are at least 18 years of age, enter for your chance to win!

The winner of this poetry contest will receive a heart-shaped loose diamond! That is one hell of a prize!

Submissions for the contest will end on February 11, 2008 and the winner will be announced shortly after, so get your submissions in soon!

    Well I write a lot of spoken word stuff, but as a spoken word poet I’m kind of against diamonds in general. :) I wonder if I could win an alternative prize?
