  1. I never feel ashamed of my period. Why should we? Having period means you are normal right?

Honestly as a child when I first started having the talks with my parents and going through sex ed at school and everything. I was different from my friends they couldn’t wait to get their periods. When we where told that exercising and such could postpone it I was already decently active but I worked out more often and joined more school sports as I got older to put it off. I didn’t want it. And honestly I still get bothered by it. I don’t know if it has something to do with my upbringing or things that happened during my childhood. But my step dad was always supportive and he was one of the few men I have known who had no problem picking up feminine nessesities for me when I needed them. Actually it was funny when I was with him to get them I would turn red and it was like buying milk for him it didn’t seem to bother him at all.

I am a man I will and do buy tampons and pads for my partner, to me it’s no different to buying toilet roll, and we all know what that’s used for. I suppose the point I’m trying to make is, these things are used for natural bodily functions, and should be openly discussed. So come on ladies don’t be ashamed of your period, without it the whole human race would die out.
