Creativity can spawn from even the smallest, seemingly insignificant things in life, and magnificent and inspiring art can be created from just about anything. I truly believe that creativity is innate; it’s something we have within us, but just like everything else, if this trait isn’t honed or supported by those around us, it’s easy to lose it. This back-to-school season, inspire creativity in your children starting with the simplest of back-to-school necessities–paper.
AstroBrights papers are all about creativity and getting noticed. Available in 23 bright colors, AstroBrights provide a bold color canvas because they believe that ideas are important, thoughts aren’t shy, and they are not afraid to stand out from the crowd.
When I was a kid, I always had several stacks of colored construction paper at my disposal, and I never ceased to be bored when I could create pictures and countless arts and crafts projects. As I got older, I used bright colored paper to organize my projects, assignments, and reports for school, for scrapbooking, and as added flair to the journals I kept as a teenager. Whether you want to create art, flyers for an upcoming event, or a convenient after school chore chart for the kids, AstroBrights paper can really come in handy for the whole family.
AstroBrights has a family-friendly design challenge going on now. For the chance to win AstroBrights paper and other prizes, have your family create and share projects in the Make Something Astrobright design challenge. This is a great activity to get the whole family involved in, especially considering the kids are still out of school for the next few weeks. On your next rainy or lazy summer day, get everyone to gather around the kitchen table, or if the weather is nice, go outside and set up your supplies on a picnic table, and create fun works of art together! After you’ve created your masterpieces, share them through pictures and videos with the AstroBrights community; you can also share them on Pinterest and Twitter with hashtag #goastrobrights.
AstroBrights is also giving people the opportunity to help support their local elementary school with the Give a Brighter Year sweepstakes. By clicking the “Like” button on the page, and then “Go to App”, you can easily enter to win $30,000 in supplies for your favorite school (Kindergarten through Grade 8), as well as a $500 gift card for you to keep. This is an impeccably easy way to win a whole lot of much-needed cash for the school that works hard to give your children the education that they deserve.
The bright ideas that come to life on AstroBrights paper are sure to capture the attention of everyone around and not go overlooked, so use this paper to give any project a whole lot of bright, bold color!
Oh, I’d have LOVED these as a kid. My daughter would now, I’m for sure going to be getting her some for back to school. Great sweepstakes too, I’ll head over now and check it out. Thanks for sharing!
These bright colors are turning up everywhere! Having the paper to make crafts, notes, and as you mentioned reports and flyers for school, is going to make this generation of children as happy as we were with our construction paper tablets 🙂 We are a big craft and project family, so I Am going to be the cool mom and buy some Astro Bright paper…but first I am going to enter the sweepstakes. What a FUN POST! Thank you.
